Delicious and Nutritious: Gluten-Free Lunch Ideas for Your Little Ones
Hi welcome back to the channel Michelle and today I’m going to be sharing a week of my kids launches so if you’re new to my channel I have three kiddos 11-year-old 7-year-old and a four-year-old we are a gluten-free family of five my youngest daughter has celiac disease so everything you will be seeing here will be gluten-free my.
Four-year-old also has a dairy sensitivity so you’ll also be seeing some dairyfree options as well so today is Monday and we always do the same thing on Mondays for lunches and that’s peanut bird jelly so I’m going to flip you around and show you what I made so these are my kids lunch boxes the my girls have the planet box lunch boxes.
And then my son has the Bento this was my oldest when she was younger so he just uses that all right so I’ll start with my youngest so he has pamber and jelly the glutenfree Oreos some pineapple and raspberry and then this is the popcorn we get I recently did a gluten-free favorites.
Haul I’ll link it up above it has some of these items in it as well and then these are just food picks that I bought from Amazon and then my seven-year-old has the exact same thing just a slightly larger amount and she has peanut butter we usually use the Costco and she has butter instead this is the dairyfree soy.
Free butter we use just cuz she’s not a big fan of jelly and she has everything the same popcorn she has the black and white Oreos because it’s an eclipse day so I thought it would be fun to have uh you know two Oreos and then my 11-year-old she has the biggest sandwich and the bread the.
Gluten-free bread I use I actually make myself this is the loaf right here I’ll link that video up above and how I do that but as you can see it does really make a much larger loaf than in the that you’ll get pre-made in the stores and it’s a lot softer a lot of bre will dissolve so I make my own and then she has the exact same things just you know.
More fruit and she has the food picks as well but that is their lunches for Monday this is Tuesday’s lunch this is my 11-year-old 7-year-old 4-year-old so today’s lunch is a snacky protein lunch so my 11-year-old we have these beef sticks I get them from from.
Aldi and they are glutenfree and then cheese sticks from Costco and we have some graham crackers I got this from Costco my kids really like them get these from kober these are the chocolate chip energy bars I cut up a organic carrot and then for their treat they have some.
M&M’s so my 11 and 7-year-old have the same thing my four-year-old has slightly different because he sens di to Dairy so for his cheese I use this I like the oat cream better than regular Dairy fruit cheese and then his treat he doesn’t do M&M’s because the milk so I gave him a little package of these gummy bears so that is Tuesday’s.
Lunch this is Wednesday’s lunch and Wednesday I usually don’t do lunch box is cuz I do something warm so it’s usually chicken nuggets hot dogs mac and cheese something like that so today we are doing the gluten-free chicken nuggets from Costco my 7-year-olds going to be having cheese stick and carrots my.
11-year-old’s going to be doing cheese stick and yogurt my 4-year-old’s going to be doing this bar and then I’m going to be cut cutting up some apples and pears for the kids to share but that is a quick easy lunch and I made the chicken nuggets in our toaster oven air fryer Thursday’s lunch this is my 11-year-old 7-year-old.
4-year-old so so we’re doing lunch meat today so what I do for that because gluten-free bread can be expensive I do make my own but that’s still pretty expensive too too so one easy way to cut down the cost of bread you can use tortillas but gluten-free tortillas are are kind of expensive so we just do rollups so my 11-year-old has turkey.
String cheese pickle and mayonnaise on hers and then it’s rolled up and then we have the Bobo now these are really filling so she chose tortilla chips for her chips their snack is a Hershey’s chocolate and then for this I’m just going to cut up some fruit when it’s time for lunch because.
Some of my kids don’t like lemon juice on their fruits so it’s easy just to cut it up not to mention they might be full by the time they reach all that and might not need the fruit so we’ll see how it goes this is my 7-year-old she chose the strawberry Bobo instead of turkey she has salami and she has cream cheese and pickle on hers it’s a very.
Midwestern thing to have my mother-in-law makes it and my kids absolutely love it so this is the cream cheese we use because my son is dairy sensitive so everybody in the house can use it and this is the salami again make sure you’re checking lunch meat lunch meat can contain gluten in it so this is the lunch meat we using and then she.
Chose the kettle barbecue chips a lot of the kettle chips are gluten-free so that’s usually what we get and then my four-year-old has a exact same rollup he asked for two though Bobo and instead of the milk chocolate he has these from Costco and they’re really good they’re like peanut butter cups but they’re dark chocolate so there’s no milk in them so.
That is Thursday’s lunch Friday’s lunches so my 11-year-old 7-year-old 4-year-old today we are doing breakfast for lunch so all the kids have some waffles and these are ones we get from Kroger so they’re gluten-free obviously they all have some Halo oranges in theirs hard boiled.
Egg and then these are the donuts that we got and we had some leftover from Easter in the freezer so I put those in they’re really good they’re cream filled and then they will decide what topping they want at lunch we have syrup cream cheese butter jam any whatever they want to put on they can decide because that changes from week to.
Week what they want on their waffles so they will do that themselves but that rounds out a week of gluten-free lunches for my three kids
