Indulge in a guilt-free twist on a classic comfort food favorite
Hi this is a glutenfree hamburger gravy that I make and I put it on all sorts of stuff um start out with some butter now I use quite a bit of butter um you might not want to use that much I’m doing 2 lbs two plus pounds of meat and some garlic powder and onion salt and some Italian seasoning and salt and pepper and I just.
Pour a bunch in there you want to mash that up and brown it till it’s all done then you’re going to add some bone broth bring it to a boil and let it simmer for about 45 minutes until all the broth has simmered down then I add about 2 oz this is a half stick because I’ve done two lbs so I’m doing about 2.
Oz of cream cheese this is reduced fat cream cheese can use regular cream cheese I’ve also put ricotta cheese in it which is really good so you can do a combination then you want to add some milk of your choice and I put in quite a bit of milk so I get more of a gravy rather than a meal if you add less.
Milk you can make it a little bit more thicker um without having to add a lot of thickener and see there I make it pretty soupy you can drain off the fat and the butter I don’t and then I use bamboo fiber and the nice thing about this it’s very very light you can just put it right in the.
Hot dish you don’t have to mix it with something you don’t have to go through all that and it will dissolve it won’t Clump up and it does thicken now this isn’t going to get super thick because I use so much milk but it does thicken up as you can see I added a little bit more CU I wanted it to get a little.
Thicker and then you just let it simmer a little bit more more to reduce down just a tiny bit and become more gravy like and this is what it looks like and it’s real buttery because obviously I have all the butter in there but is also has some fat I don’t mind that if you don’t want the fat or the butter before you put the bone broth in.
Then I would drain that off or rinse that off if you want
