Wholesome and Delicious Crunchy Delights: Sugar-Free and Gluten-Free Granola Bars

Welcome to this week’s episode of cooking with Connie well this week is a real treat because I have created a really healthy granola bar those granola bars in the store are filled with sugar and what we’re going to bring you is a sugar-free version with lots of great stuff in it like chia seeds sunflower seeds pumpkin seeds blackx seeds oats uh.

We’re going to start with that sugar-free caramel sauce and then what I’m going to do is add a package of the chalk zero smow so there’s three packs that come in here so I’m using one of the three packs that are in that bag uh to make the stuff that’s going to kind of glue it all together in this bowl I’ve got three.

Cups of oats and then I’ve got a cup of the sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds and then I put two tablespoons of my black seeds and my chia seeds I kind of mixed all that together in this bowl I trying to get everything ready on this one I’ve got my milk chocolate and dark chocolate Cho zero sugar-free chips and then I’ve got um I put three4 of a cup.

Of that and then I’ve got three4 of a cup of this natural peanut butter that has no sugar added to it so we’re going to throw all this together it’s going to go pretty quick so I’m going to get the caramel sauce made and then we’ll come back and start throwing it all together all right so I’ve got the caramel sauce uh thick and caramelly and.

So we’re going to add in the marshmallows we’ll stir those let them melt once we get this melted then we’re going to pour that into that mixture of the oats and the seeds and get that all mixed together Incorporated that’s kind of this is the glue that’s going to hold it all.

Together so if you’ve ever made Rice Krispie treats this is just a really healthy version of rice krispy trees all right guys so we’re just about got this ready to pour in there it looks really yummy so this is a caramel marshmallow sauce we’re going to put that in with our oats and then mix that all together.

Then what we’re going to do is we’re going to put half of it in the bottom of this pan over here I’ve got prepared and it is best if you do aluminum foil in it because that way when you go to remove it it after it sets up they’re easy to take out and slice that way much easier to slice out of the pan on a a cutting board than it is to try to slice them in.

The pan so we’re just going to get all that stuff mixed together and so try to get as much as you can Incorporated in there um if some of it isn’t we’ll just throw it in the pan with it so okay guys so we’ve got for the first.

Half in the pan and I’ve got it spread out and then what I’m going to do is I’m going to put about half the chocolate in here and then we’ll spread that out over it we have an upset baby right now so you might hear her in the background all right then we’re going to put the rest of the stuff on the top of that all right.

So what I’ve done is I put the rest of it in here and then I’m just kind of spreading it out in the pan to kind of get a little bit of the seeds and nuts and the oats all over it and then we’re going to put the rest of the chocolate on it and then we will let this set up in the fridge till it gets nice and solid.

And then we’ll take it out that’s why we put the foil in here we take it out of the pan easily put it on a cutting board much much easier to slice it then so put the rest of our chocolate on here and I will tell you these I I for the first time I made them when we went to on our road trip and uh they pretty much devoured them so I think it was.

Pretty big hit and I think these are things that you can make for your family that’s going to have a lot of nutritional value in them but still be really tasty so we’ll be back when we’re ready to slice and show you how they finished up hey this week’s sneak peek at what’s all right well whoops that’s what that’s going to be a blooper Force.

But anyway all right so this is this is our finished product of our granola bars and we just you just set up in the refrigerator till they set up then with that aluminum foil okay this hat okay uh with the aluminum foil you just flip them out a pan and then slice them up and then I will keep them in the refrigerator so that’s this week’s cook.
