Delightfully Crunchy: A Gluten-Free Journey to Biscotti Bliss!

take one hello everyone out there in cookie world this is Mark from San Diego it’s during the holiday times and today we’re going to be making some bisc biscuit biscotti so it’s going to be a pretty quick recipe pretty easy I’m I’m taking.

A combination of a couple recipes and combine them so it’s the first time I’m doing this so this recipe calls for two egg whites some sugar some honey or maple syrup whatever your preference is some almond extract lemon zest Cranberries or raisins I’m using cranberries I like a little bit of the tarty tart.

Tarts almond flour and and some slivered almonds to roll it in and topping it off with some powder sugar the first step we need a mixer okay first we’re going to start with two egg whites and we’re going to put in 70 Gams.

Of sugar and 40 G of honey and we’re going to beat till we get some soft peaks and I think that’s perfect now we’re going to add one teaspoon of vanilla extract and mix it some.

More now we’re going to add the cranberries and the lemon zest a zest from one lemon stir it in in the meantime I have preheated the oven to 350° we are now adding the almond flour a little bit out of.

Time it’s going to incorporate it small amount at a time oh it smells really good smells Almony and Lemony alony and Lemony what a nice combination and this is what it should look like now we’re going to take I’m this dll roughly a large Walnut size put it.

In carve it platten them out turning them into a little Patty don’t get them confused with hamburgers oops the oven is talking he’s hungry saying give me some cookies there we go we made our first batch of 12 it looks like this will make.

Maybe about 18 to 20 okay it’s time to put them in the oven look how nice they look 15 minutes as we wait for our cookies as you see every everything’s cleaned up and I just want to remind everyone that a tidy kitchen is a Happy.

Kitchen hark I think they’re done hey Betty what do you think do you think they’re done you think they’re done yes I think they’re done I love you mark so here’s what they look like and we’re going to dust them with some powdered sugar you want to do this while it’s warm so.

That it sticks to it nice but not a lot just to make it look like fanciful and snowing like winter and we’re going to let it cool here for a couple minutes before we move it to our cooling R okay they’ve sat for a couple minutes now let’s put them on the cooling rack look how nice and golden brown they.

Are on the bottom too we made a total of 19 cookies the rest were in the oven um they look wonderful I can’t waste to taste them and I know there’s someone else in the room waiting to taste them and I think Betty is too what do you think Betty oh they look delicious what do you think I think they look good.
