Indulge in Vegan Delights: Gluten-Free Rice Crispy Treats Mukbang Extravaganza!
Hey everybody welcome back today we are going to be making these vegan rice crispy treats this one is a quick and easy recipe with just a few simple ingredients and I’m pretty sure they probably won’t last too long in your house because they are really tasty so of course your kids are going to love them as well these ones were super.
Nostalgic for me as I grew up making these with my mom so it was really fun to make these this time and to be able to share them with my sun so stay tuned if you’d like to see a mukbang of both me and Kyrie eating them at the end so to start off we are going to need some puffed brown rice since I’m going to be making a large batch of this you’re.
Going to need 8 cups if you want to make this a little bit smaller go ahead and split the recipe so once we have our eight cups we are going to set this aside and then we will get started on the wet ingredients of the recipe and I’m going to show you a closeup of what the puffed brown rice cereal looks like I did see some white rice puff cereal.
But it had a lot of other ingredients in it so I definitely just stuck with the one I have and next up we have some raw cashew pieces this this is what’s going to create that sticky base that’s going to make sure that all of our Rice Krispies stick together and it also gives it a nice creaminess as well and you will be needing a cup and a half of.
These then you are going to place them in a high-speed blender you will need a highspeed blender for this and some maple syrup so you can start off with a half a cup of maple syrup and if we need more later we can always add a little bit more this is where you can have fun with it because you can use any type of other sticky sweetener if you’d like.
Such as date syrup Agave oh and I should say that medical mediums recipe online had inspired me to make this version in his recipe used honey so feel free to use whatever you like I know honey can be an extremely controversial topic for vegans so that’s why we’re going to use our maple syrup today we are essentially creating a cashew nut butter with the.
Maple syrup so you’re going to want to blend it until everything is completely Blended well together this can take a little bit of time it took me a few minutes I had to keep stirring it up and then turning the blender on but this here is the texture that you’re going to want you don’t want any large clumps in it once that is all finished we are.
Going to transport this into a large bowl it may be pretty sticky so I used a spatula as well as a spoon to kind of get all of this out you’ll notice that it’s pretty thick and that’s just the texture of the cashew butter that we want and next up we are going to add some coconut sugar this part is optional but we like ours a little bit extra.
Sweet so we added a/4 cup of coconut sugar and then you’re going to mix this all together if it becomes too thick from here you could add a little bit more of maple syrup which I do suggest just because it can be pretty hard to mix in the Rice Krispies if it’s a little too too thick and then from here after you’re done mixing this up we are.
Going to add some vanilla powder you are going to add 1 teaspoon of the vanilla powder to this mixture and then mix it all up I started off by using the spatula to mix this up but it was much easier to just use a wooden spoon after that and then once this has all been mixed up this is the consistency and text texture that you’re going for like.
I said you can make it a little bit thinner and it would make it a little bit easier for you to work this mixture through the Rice Krispies and then once you’re all finished with that we are going to go back to the bowl with all of the rice puffs in them from here you’re going to pour the nut butter batter into the rice crispy Bowl if you were going.
To make a smaller batch of this it would be much easier to mix with a spoon but what I’ve realized is that it’s much easier to mix it with your hands if you have a really large batch like the one I have here because I doubled the recipe so the goal here is to allow the Batters to blend completely together you want the nut butter sticky batter to touch.
Every Rice Krispie this way when you set it and it’s all finished it all sticks together so I decided to drop the spatula put some coconut oil on my fingers and get my hands dirdy this was much easier making sure that the batter coated all of the Rice Krispies and it was just so much easier to blend it up this way so I’m going to speed this part.
Up because you guys get the hint from here on out but I did want to tell you that you will e easily be able to tell which Rice Krispies have not been touched by the cashew batter because they will be Loosely just flailing around for example you can see what I’m talking about here as I lift all of the Rice Krispies up all of the loose ones.
Are hanging out at the bottom and that’s why you’ll see me kind of working my way from the bottom with the loose ones and bringing them upward back into the rice krispy mix and once you feel like when you pick up all of the Rice Krispies they all stick together it’s time to put them into a pan so for this next step I lined a large glass baking pan with some.
Parchment paper and then I am going to pour all of the Rice Krispies in there and then start to flatten them out with the spatula I make sure that it’s all pushed down really hard and packed in there in all of the corners and I make sure that it’s even as well another fun option that you can do for the kids is I’m going to show you in a second roll.
Them into a ball and refrigerate them like this as well it’s really up to you this is where you can get really creative and even make different types of shapes and figures and what not but for today I’m sticking to the old school Square Rice Krispies so I finish it up by using my hand to Pat it down really hard and this way they’ll be nice and.
Stuck together when we cut them and then from there we are going to place this in the fridge for about an hour and when they are done we will take them out and start to cut them up as you can see when we pull it out of the fridge it literally stays in one huge piece and then from here you’ll see that I’m just cutting it into the squares as I.
Mentioned but one thing I wanted to note is that you’ll see some pieces when I cut it that it kind of breaks off a little bit on the edges and that’s because like I mentioned earlier I kind of should have added a little bit more maple syrup like I said this has no reflection of how good these taste but just in case you want that perfect cut.
And perfect square Rice Krispie you can see my son’s hand there in the corner he was eating all the little pieces and scraps but this is what it looks like and that’s it you guys if you wanted you can get creative and drizzle your favorite caramel or carob chocolate on it if you want to get fancy and stay tuned if you want for the silly mukbang.
Of me and Kyrie eating the Rice Krispies okay you guys so today we are going to be trying the Rice Krispies car is here with me so let’s just start with one believe me we’ve already been eating we’ve already been eating these I really have a whole tray here.
But um Kyrie’s hella trying to get in the camera as you can see you say hi Kyrie say hi okay thank you do you want to here should I move it down a little bit let’s move us down a little bit like that you see you and Mommy okay so first off you want some you going to try some.

It let’s start off with how this recipe started I grew up eating rice krispie treats love Rice Krispie treats of course they’re made with like lots of butter and marshmallows and all the things you okay baby do you need a drink you want your cup okay let’s go get his cup juice okay so you know I grew up making.
These and I loved eating the batter being like super sticky and stuff but I haven’t had any since I’ve been vegan so so I thought that would be a great recipe ooh is it good mhm Mama yeah that’s Mama okay can you scoot back a little bit can you sit back in your.
chair but cheers he’s saying cheers I just want to say these are absolutely amazing they’re addicting uh if you eat them within that hour they’re going to be nice and crunchy but if you leave them in the fridge for a long time they will start to soften up a.
Little bit but they’re still going to taste yo they’re still going to taste really good and they probably won’t last long in the house when I was first making these my boyfriend was like oh you’re making R Crispies it doesn’t even sound good he wanted me to make these pies that I’ve.
Been making and I was like look that probie going to take too long we going to make these Rice Krispies he ate half of it that night wow so they’re absolutely amazing I for sure ate more than one already while I’m talking to you guys but they’re perfectly.
Sweet got the nice crunch with the creaminess even though there’s no marshmallow that’s what the cashew um butter does it gives that like creaminess but it’s bomb so anyways I’m going to have to cut this short CU my son’s running around talking backround but you guys going to love these your kids are going to love.
Them it’s just a super simple quick recipe that you and your family will love as a dessert I hope you guys enjoy and I am going to see you in the next video you want to say bye-bye say bye-bye bye-bye see you next time
