Indulge in a Guilt-Free Slice of Heaven: Creamy Avocado Bliss Awaits!

Today we’re going to make something fun healthy and a little bit unexpected we are going to make no bake vegan and gluten-free avocado bars inspired by my food Adventure yesterday in hosim city if you saw my last video you’ll know that I tried three different avocado based treats it was avocado coffee avocado smoothie and avocado ice cream so check out the link up here somewhere if you haven’t already seen it and as European the idea of using avocados in sweets was defin defitely a surprise but I’ve totally fallen in love with it so today I’m taking that inspiration into my kitchen and creating chocolate coated avocado bars they are way easier to make than you think and absolutely delicious everything you need is pretty much right here it’s a blender and the ingredients right let’s get started first.

Things first our shopping list this cake only needs seven ingredients its dates almonds salt coconut oil maple syrup oranges and of course avocados simple right so let’s head out to the supermarket now we could have gone out to one of the vibrant local markets but I need a few extra things for my kitchen so I thought I’d take you to one of my favorite supermarkets here in hosim Min City just look at all this variety fresh fruits baked goods even live seafood and I found this one which I believe is for ice cubes but I think we can make bars in them so that’s perfect for today so here we are avocados the avocados here are incredibly creamy and perfect for desserts and these oranges are such a different shade compared to the ones I’m used to back in Norway.

But just wait until you see the inside finally the groceries are secured so let’s get home and get baking we’re back and I got everything we need just a quick note Avocado Season is wrapping up here and I’m really sad about it I just found out that I really love avocado desserts but um yeah I guess there’s another season to come right I and I haven’t forgotten yesterday I told you I had one last avocado treat we were going to try together yesterday I found these avocado cookies it looks kind of weird and strange with the green cookies but we’re going to try them it smells just like regular cookies really it tastes just like regular cookies to be honest I think this might just be regular cookies with green food coloring now I tried I think every avocado thing there is to find.

In this city so enough of this and let’s get to baking okay apron on hair up it’s baking time first let’s make the crust for this recipe I’m using deiler but don’t worry I included all the conversions in the description below blend 1 and2 de with almonds until they are fine and trust me on this if you add all the ingredients for the crust at once the almonds won’t be Blended the way they should now you have to carefully peit 10 dates and add those to the blender as well as a pinch of salt blend until it’s Sandy but sticky enough to hold together you can see that it’s kind of crumbly like sand and that’s perfect let’s set aside for now while we make the filling for the filling we’re keeping it simple we’re going to use avocados orange juice coconut oil and maple syrup you could either use two large avocados like the.

Ones I have here but if you’re using smaller ones you might need to add an extra so as you can see the oranges are actually orange inside these Vietnamese oranges are quite small so if you have larger ones you should adjust the quantity but for now I’m using the juice of four of these after that I’m adding 2 dec of melted coconut oil and a half a deciliter of maple syrup if you prefer a different sweetener like honey or Stevia that works too but just keep in mind that if you’re using honey it’s no longer vegan I’ll share more substitution tips in an upcoming ebook so stay tuned for that now it’s time to blend everything together until it’s smooth creamy and green it looks super strange but just trust me it’s going to be really good and a tip here is to taste test everything before you assemble it to adjust for sweetness or.

tartness and here you can see what the ice cube tray was for it’s for the cake but if you prefer you can of course also use a regular cake tin press the crust firmly into your tin using a spoon or you can also use your hands and then pour over the avocado filling smooth it out and then pop it in the freezer to set for a few hours in the meantime let’s make the chocolate glaze and some toppings for the chocolate glaze whisk together coconut oil maple syrup and cacao powder for the toppings I’m chopping up some almonds and sesting some of the oranges but this is of course optional now let’s get it out of the freezer and get the chocolate.

on you can coat the whole bar or only half of it that’s up to you there’s no wrong way to add chocolate and if you’re worried it’s going to taste a lot like avocado they they’re really don’t they taste sweet they taste creamy and that’s it and they’re just a lot healthier than a regular cake I would not have made a cake that tastes a lot like avocado because that’s just not good vegan and gluten-free cake has to taste good too this is just a very well tasting healthy option then it’s back into the freezer to set a little bit and that’s it they’re done Creamy Feeling sesty orange crunchy chocolate is there anything better they.

Taste indulgent but are made with all natural ingredients no refined sugar no Dairy no gluten and they’re no bake which means everyone can make them the full recipe is in the description below so give this a try and let me know what you think in the comments also I’m new to Vietnam I’d love your suggestions for more Local Foods or desserts to explore in my next video I hope you enjoy this and see you next time
