Transform Your Sweet Surplus into a Crunchy Delight: The Ultimate White Chocolate Popcorn Recipe!
Hey y’all today I’m just going to show you a quick little video on how to make leftover candy white chocolate popcorn it is such an addictive little treat and everybody just goes crazy over it it is so so simple to make and it can be customized for any occasion or any flavor variations so let’s get into it and I’ll show you how to make.
It I popped two bags of microwave popcorn believe this is lightly salted use whatever kind you want you don’t have to use microwave do it on the stove in an air poer it doesn’t matter this is real white chocolate that I actually tempered that was all I had but you are free to use candy white chocolate candy coating white chocolate chips if you do.
Go with white chocolate chips or non-tempered make sure you add 1 to two teaspoons of vegetable oil then I have some sprinkles and some M&M’s regular and peanut and I almost forgot my peanut butter cups that I chopped up this was all I had left in the bowl y’all because you know everybody loves their Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups but I really wanted.
To get some in there just for that flavor variation and then these are dried sweetened cranberries I love the chewi that any kind of dried fruit brings to it I usually add some kind of nut but I didn’t have any and and I really wanted to make this so I’m going without my nuts but normally I would put whole almonds in it I just love the way.
The whole almonds work in this because it reminds me of something I got from the Boy Scouts years ago and I can’t I couldn’t get enough of it then and I tried to recreate it myself and it came out pretty darn close so um put what you have in there what you want in there your favorite flavor variation and it’s just a matter of dumping.
Everything into the bowl I always like to do the white chocolate first so it can get a head start and all the candy doesn’t get loads of white chocolate on it um and I’m not putting all the candy in right away I just want to see where I’m at I may need more I may not and I probably will need a lot more sprinkles because I like the way the sprinkles.
Look in there and I also like the little bit of crunch they give and just toss it around until it’s all well coated such a simple easy addictive thing to make y’all perfect for using up leftover candy and yep I’m adding more sprinkles and I’m adding the rest of the regular.
M&M’s and I’ll just toss that together again and then I’m going to add a little bit of salt y’all because it’s not salty enough for me I know the um popcorn is lightly salted but I like that really salty sweet combo thing going on and it kind of gets lost with all the sweetness from the white chocolate and the candy so I like to add a few pinches more of.
Salt and I’ll just spread this out onto my parchment line baking sheet in what I can of a single layer and then y’all I’m going to actually add even more sprinkles because when I look at this I don’t see hardly any of the sprinkles and I really want to see the sprinkles I just like the way they look and they.
Kind of get lost and all folded into that white chocolate so add to your heart’s content and then you just let this set up you can do it at room temperature like I did for like 10 to 15 minutes you can put it in the fridge if you want if you’re very impatient and you just break it up like.
A bark when it’s fully set and serve it and you could put this into like little baggies tied with pretty ribbons and give it out to your friends your kids your family whatever um or just munch on it when you’re watching a movie or whatever it’s just so good you guys it is so addictive I had to get rid of this whole Bowl quickly because I would have.
Eaten the whole thing and I love like when I get a big like clump of everything all um combined together I just love that so enjoy
