Crispy Perfection: The Ultimate Low Carb Breading Recipe
hi everyone welcome I am Paula and today I’m going to be showing you how I make my crispy breading recipe the other day I did a YouTube video and I made a chicken parmesan with my crispy breading and I had so many people asking me how I make this breading it’s so easy and I’m not the first person that came up with.
Using pork rinds for breading or parmesan cheese for breading but I’ve just played around with the measurements and made it my own and I think I have a really good breading recipe breading is a great breading that you can use for just about anything I have used it to bread my chicken tenders with one of my favorites you can bread fish with it you.
Can bread steak make country fried steak we’ve breaded pork chops with this you can also use this as a binder for your meatloaf your meatballs and you can also use it as a topping on top of casseres if you want to sprinkle it on top and cook it in the oven and get that crispy crunch on top of the casserole that’s really good the only thing I do not have.
On hand today is the carnivore Crisp Chicken Breast flour if you go to my website and search crispy breading you’ll see the recipe it will give you the measurements for this and on the recipe it says to add some carnivore Crisp Chicken Breast flour I just don’t have it on hand up here at the lake right now but the past few times that I.
Have made this for up here I haven’t put the flour in there and it has been just fine so you can make it with the chicken breast flour or without I think that the texture is just a little bit better with the chicken breast flour chicken breast flour is a very fine flour it’s like a powder and it really helps to fill in all the little nooks and crannies on the.
Coating so my recipe today is not going to have the chicken breast flour in it but everything else is the same so the way I like to do this is I like to use my own parmesan cheese from a block there’s just um no added ingredients to this there’s no fillers or anything like that you can by all means use the grated Parmesan cheese that comes in a.
Container if you are okay with using that I just like to grind mine fresh I like to make sure that it is just cheese that I’m getting so I’m going to cut the Rind off of this cheese you can actually take these rinds cut them in little pieces and microwave them for just a little bit and they become like little cheese puffs so those.
Are pretty good to keep and reuse I’m going to cut this up in chunks now I have a food processor that I use for this I have also done this by hand I do this by hand is I will take the pork rindes I will put them in a big Ziploc baggie and I will take a rolling pin or a meat tenderizer or something heavy and just grind it up into like a.
Powder and then you’ll have to grade your cheese up and then you can mix it all together by hand but I have found that I like it much better in the processor because it becomes more like a powder and it actually sticks better to the meat and so I’m going to cut these up throw these in my food processor go ahead and grind this.
up here check out my bowl I got it at the thrift store it is vintage it’s really cool I really enjoy using this bowl since I have a smaller food processor I don’t have enough room to put everything in here at once so I do it in these batches I’m not going to bother with.
Washing this out because it’s all going to get mixed together anyways I am going to add my pork rinds into the processor I’m just using plain pork rinds these are from Aldi the these are $119 a bag and they’re just pork rinds and saltt salt you can use flavored pork rinds if you like porking good has a good french onion one they also have a ranch one.
They’re clean ingredient if you want to have like a ranch coated chicken this is the seasoning that I use in my crispy breading it is the Redmond’s Real Salt organic seasoning salt it’s very clean I really like how it tastes it gives good flavor to this you can make it your own and season it however you want to season it but today I’m going to be using the.
Plain pork rindes I have two bags to be almost 7 oz of pork rind have to grind these up one bag at a time because my food processor is smaller here it goes all right so you can see how these grind down so small that’s why I use two bags so I have one cup of Parmesan cheese in here and about 7 oz of ground.
Up pork rinds and now I’m going to add my seasoning now this is completely up to the individual on how much seasoning you want to add I have found that for this amount about 1 tblspoon of the seasoning is enough my measuring spoon is a 1/2 measuring spoon so I’m going to put two of these in here and that is it the way I store this.
Is I have a glass pickle jar this is a really big pickle jar it’s not fancy but it does the job I am going to put this in here and then I’m just going to store it inside the refrigerator use this up so quickly that I’m always making it fresh so I wouldn’t store this in the refrigerator for more than a week if it’s going to be longer than that you.
Can stick it in the freezer you can put it like in a Ziplock vacuum sealed baggie store it in the freezer and it will be good for a long time in the freezer so that is how I make my crispy breading like I said you can change up the seasonings you can make this Italian you can make this a Cajun you can make it garlicky you can do whatever you want.
With it but this is a great way to enjoy breaded Foods here on the low carb ketogenic diet all right that’s all I have for you today make sure you subscribe give me a thumbs up I’ll see you really soon have a great day and God bless
