Gluten-Free Goodies Galore: A Weight Watchers Friendly Costco & Aldi Haul!
hello and welcome to my channel my name is Amy and I I am currently on a weight loss journey and I am following ww and in today’s video I’m going to be doing a Cusco haul um plus a little bonus Aldi Haul full disclosure I actually filmed this whole video yesterday when I went shopping but when I went to edit I was.
Like I cannot show the people that uh because your girl was looking like a hot mess so I actually had to get dressed and go into the office today so I figured I would refilm in the best interest of everyone so I’ve already kind of shown you the products let me just kind of go over um how I plan on using.
Everything first up I have this bab lash mascara um I’ve never used this brand I usually use the benefit they’re real um but this was $15.99 for two of them so I figured I would give it a try if anyone has used this brand let me know what you think in the comments I would love it cuz I still a little bit before I start to use it for Frozen Goods I got these.
Real good foods chicken tenders um they are three points for 4 oz which is pretty good and that gives you 23 g of protein um for the most part the ingredients are pretty good but it does have sunflower oil and non GMO canola oil which I don’t like so these would kind of be like a treat for me just if I need something quick and easy um these.
Won be my go-to but they’ll be a nice to have I’ve never had the brand but I’ve heard a lot of good things and they were on a really good sale on Costco um also if you don’t know I have celiac disease so I have to eat gluten-free um so everything in my hauls will always be glutenfree and these are gluten-free so I am very excited to try.
these and then the other Frozen item I got was just frozen blueberries I am really loving smoothies and I got a new Ninja twisty which is a blender and it can make smoothie bowls um so I’m making some smoothie bowls out of like strawberries bananas and then frozen blueberries and then I can also just put.
This in my regular oatmeal and I like that they’re or organic so yeah and this was pretty cheap it’s a lot cheaper to get um frozen fruit at Costco than it is your regular grocery store for snacky items I picked up these Oran organic crispy coconut rolls um they are 7 points for eight little rolls which I don’t Weight Watchers hates.
Coconut because I use coconut milk and coconut oil and they’re all very extremely Point heavy um but I I guess cuz it’s the fat content in them but these are just a crispy sweet good snack um it’s really good ingredients it’s got organic coconut milk organic tapioca starch organic coconut sugar organic sugar organic egg organic black sesame.
Seed salt um it’s a really really good clean so it’s something I will just eat the seven points on um so I’m looking forward to the I’ve had them before and they’re really good another sweet treat I got was um organic sundried figs these are two you can have two for three points um I usually get the dates but I went to my.
Parents house and my dad had these figs and they’re just really good they taste like really sugary there’s like little crystals in them that just kind of taste like sugar crystals to me I don’t know um and there’s 4 G of dietary fiber in there and fiber is very good to keep you regular so these are a good little treat and then I also picked up um I.
Absolutely love this brand simple Mills these are almond flour but they’re the cheddar flavor Costco had these on a hot buy for $8 and some change um I think last time I got the regular ones which I haven’t opened yet cuz I’m on my Elimination Diet so I can’t even eat these or the coconut rolls um or the real good chicken fingers for another.
Couple weeks um but I know that these are good healthy brands that um I like to include in my diet and these cheddar crackers are five points for 17 crackers so the really easy to understand ingredients nut and Seed flour tapioca starch cassava flour organic cheddar cheese organic sunflower oil which that’s the only one that I’m like eh and.
Then sea salt organic onion organic garlic rosemary extract papr paprika extract and aado extract so simple meals anytime you can find anything by this brand I really highly recommend it especially if you are gluten-free another brand um it’s the one degrees organic food so these are organic um oats this whole bag this was.
Like the main reason I went to Costco um because this whole bag of Oats was $7 which is freaking amazing um but you can like trace the source of these oats by um clicking on the QR code which is pretty cool um cuz they think oats I don’t know they can have I’m not really an expert on that kind of stuff um let’s be honest but I’ve just heard some.
Things and I just like to keep um my body as clean as possible cuz my body does carry a lot of inflammation and so anything that I can do to eliminate some of those bad oils and extra additives that are in the food um I would like to do it so I try to get these kind of healthy things as much as I can for as like as cheap as I can right like I’m.
Not going to go an overspend but for $7 for this massive bag of Oats that are really good oats I like to make oatmeal I plan on doing some blueberry oatmeal bakes um I plan on making some blueberry muffins um so making oat flour all the kind of things and I happened to be out of my last bag so this was a really good.
Buy all right so I told you I filmed this yesterday and I already um made use but I just got a big thing of mushrooms mushrooms are a staple for me I put them in my eggs pretty much every single day um I also um I mean put them in my pasta sauce and make them in a stir fry just.
Pretty much anything um if you don’t like mushrooms that kind of stinks because they’re really good food they’re really good for you too and then I just got um mini cucumbers um I get these from Aldi or Costco but I find the Costco brand I think Costco’s vegetables are really actually Superior um so they last a lot.
Longer and I like these little proe Keepers to keep them in um and then I got some nanners put them in smoothies just eat them bell peppers again I can I like to like meal batch these and prep these and put them in the freezer um so I have one of those.
Vegetable Choppers so I chop it up and then put it in a baggie and have in the freezer um that just makes it a lot easier when I’m making meals to have vegetables on hand and then I just got a thing of graped tomatoes um I’ve really enjoyed making my own Pico um and so I just use grape tomatoes and I make a lot of.
Salads um and so I like grape tomatoes beets okay so I’m kind of a newbie on beets my friend the other night made a really good beet salad it was like a spring mix with beets pears um wal walnuts or pecans I forget which one um and then she made it her own vinegarette dressing and it was just really good so of course I got the pears.
And I got the beets um to make the salad I already have made the salad and it’s really good I will insert a picture so you can show you um but I am a newbie to beats and of course when I’m a newbie I go to Costco and buy a big old box I don’t know why um probably because I saw them and I had just literally had the salad and I was like o I need those.
But now I have about 3 lb yeah 3.3 lbs of beets and I imagine there’s other things to do with beets besides making salads so if you have a really good recipe please let me know um and I would love it so I can make these beets another way besides salads um but these are really good because they already like pre.
Cooked for you you can literally just slice them up and put them in your salad and then I got pears for the salad I had one yesterday oh my gosh pears are really really really good um obviously they’re good in the winter time um but really good in salads and then so I yesterday I chopped up half of the pear and put it in the salad and then I ate.
The rest um um I put some cinnamon on it and it was just a really good sweet treat um I plan on baking these and if you have any other ways and what to do with pairs leave that below um because I want to make more that is everything from Costco let me show you.
Aldi this is not from Aldi but I got this from Costco I just forgot it last time this whole thing was $2.39 cents of spring mixs so I’m going to be making a lot of salads to eat some beets and carrots so I needed to pick up this 239 spring.
Mix and then from Aldi now the main reason I went to Costco really was the oats and eggs and I forgot the eggs so I had to go back to Al to get the eggs but I did pick up two dozen of the organic K tree eggs from Aldi and these were $379 for a dozen so I thought that that was not bad it was actually cheaper to get the eggs this.
Time from Aldi than it was Costco so I got two things of eggs and then I just got some celery I like to have celery on hand I plan on making some hummus um and I just I throw celery in my stir fries um just a good bed and then I picked up.
Cilantro um if you are one of those people that cannot eat cilantro I feel bad for you because it’s freaking delicious and at Aldi it’s only 55 whereas at Harris teer it’s like $2 so I like that from Aldi and then I got some jalapenos um to put in my Pico and then put over some cofy catch chipoltle bows.
Again from Aldi super cheap this bag was 79 so you can’t beat it and then lastly from Aldi I got um crumpled feta it’s just original it’s not it has full fat I’m not really worried about the full fat nonfat I’ll take the fat I’ll take the points I’m not afraid of it um so this is three points for 1 oz of feta cheese so which.
Is pretty good this whole container has 4 oz so yeah so there’s four for four servings in here which is pretty good so I can make this on Mediterranean salads um I can put it oh on top of of my beet and pear salad um feta’s really.
Good feta is just a really good non-inflammatory cheese I’m not eating cheese yet um on my anti-inflammatory diet but I will be reintroducing it into my diet here in the next couple days I think it is I have it mapped out I just don’t remember.
You
