Discover Delicious Delights: Handpicked Gluten-Free Treasures Await!
Welcome back to episode two of Food Social Market Finds Gluten-Free Edition. I have an entire box here of things that I have ordered over the past couple of months. I’ve been working my way through them. Some of them are open, some of them aren’t. If you’ve never heard of Food Social before, it is an incredible recipe sharing platform. As a creator on.
The platform, I share all sorts of gluten-free recipes. I have celiac disease. There are over 200 other creators on the platform as well with all different focuses. Not everybody is gluten-free, but there are a lot of gluten-free recipes on there as well. But everybody kind of has their own niche, and that’s what makes it really.
Special and unique. We also have brands on our platform. Brands get to contextually advertise their products directly through integrating into our recipe catalog of over 8,500 recipes. So, it’s a really unique position for brands to be in because they are front and center of somebody who’s looking for a recipe and looking to be inspired by.
Fun, creative products to cook with. Brands can also just join our marketplace where they can integrate easily. We use technology from Shopify which makes it super seamless for brands to join us in addition to my role as a creator on the platform. I fell in love with Foodo so I joined the team officially. Currently my role is the.
Brand partnership manager. So I get to meet with tons of brands, hear their backstory, learn about why they got started, how their products have evolved, what their focuses are, and help align them with our overall community. So I have a really fun dual role as brand partnership manager and also as a creator myself. It is amazing.
How many products on our market actually are gluten-free and safe for me to be able to consume. I love looking through our new arrivals. We have new arrivals joining our market all the time, it feels like. And it’s surprising, but in the best way for how many of them are actually gluten-free so that I can enjoy them, too. So, let me share a few of my.
Favorites that I recently grabbed. Some of them haven’t even opened yet, haven’t tried, but some of them I have, and you’re in for a treat. First up is a reorder from Costa Rica. This is crushed tangerine vinegar. When I first got it, I was like, “Okay, this is going to be good, but I’m sure like it’s just like another product.” No, this is delicious.
This crushed tangerine vinegar is so bright, so fresh. I already went through an entire bottle just about. I have used this for so many vinegarettes at this point. And honestly, one of my favorite finds from the food social market to date. It makes your vinegarettes come together so beautifully. Maybe you’re stuck in a rut with your homemade.
Dressings and maybe you’re using like balsamic vinegar or red wine vinegar and you want to switch it up. Trust. and mix it up with some shallots, some garlic, some mustard, some oil, and some other goodies in there. It just creates such a good vinegarette. You will love this if you try it. Next up is one that I’m really excited about. I haven’t tried.
This yet, but this is by a brand called Jozo. They created a barrelaged tamari soy sauce that is gluten-free. One of the co-founders has celiac as well. So, obviously, I had to grab this from the market. It is just beautifully packaged. I love to support a small business, part female owned and cutest ever. Next time I get sushi, I am dunking hard in this.
And I cannot wait for the flavor. Next is the Big Mama’s Calamandon Citrus Vinegarette. I had the pleasure of meeting Big Mama herself at one of the shows that I went to for work. And I’ve also met her son who runs the business. Such a great family. They have such intention behind their products. Just came out with this avocado oil one. My.
Husband loves this. He has requested to reorder the nectarine dressing. So, this is now on reorder in our house. I love that the slogan is made with love and tested on grandchildren. Next up is a brand that is beloved in the food social community. Nana Joe’s. This is a waffle cone granola. It’s gluten-free and celiac safe. Okay, this is such a.
Delicious granola blend. My friend Michelle from Back Porch Paleo made this collaboration flavor with Nana Joe’s. So, this all started because Michelle from Back Porch Paleo decided to make a Paleo waffle cone for her husband’s 50th birthday. She gave some of those waffle cones to Michelle, who is the owner of Nana Joe’s. Fell in love with those.
Flavors. Fast forward a couple years and now they have this collaboration waffle cone granola that is so good. I have ordered four bags to date and I have crushed so many of them. They’re so delicious. It’s also vegan and refined sugar-free and it’s absolutely delicious. It’s not too sweet, but it’s nostalgic. It tastes just like a waffle.
Cone. You can dip it in vanilla ice cream and use it as a scooper. The clusters, I’ve already dabbled in this bag, so it’s open. It’s so clusterishious. It’s amazing. Crispy, crunchy, everything you want a granola to be. And it’s amazing. Speaking of Nana Joe’s, I have fallen in love with their granola bars. Ever since I had.
Celiac, I have not found a granola bar that I love. I tried to love them. I have tried so many granola bars and I don’t know what it is. Some of them are too sweet. Some of them are just like not it. These are it. These are love in a bar. I did not think that I would ever love a granola bar again. But when I tell you these are incredible. I love.
Them so very much. Like so much. I’ve already reordered them. I had more, but I don’t have more to share because I have been eating them and they’re literally delicious. So, if you need a good granola bar, these are my two favorite flavors. Ocean Beach granola bar and the flavors are almond butter, coffee, and cacao nibs with no refined.
Sugar. I mean, come on. This is so good. The other one that I love is Big Wave granola bar. This one has quinoa, cranberry, and almond butter. If you are looking for a really good granola bar, gluten-free or not, these are it. Love them. Next, we’re going to mix things up with mixed up foods. This is a craft nut butter company called Mixed Up.
Foods. I love the quality of these nut butters. They are so intentional. You can tell that they are made with just the cleanest ingredients. I tried the new favorite, which is cashews, almonds, pecans, and salt. The texture is incredible. It’s like thick in the right way, but still a little bit creamy in the way that you would want it to be.
There’s no fillers, no gunk in it, and it’s so fresh, so high quality, and simply amazing. Eat this with a spoon, and I’m a happy girl. Also, the mud season. We need to just take a moment for the mud season. This has coffee, cacao nib, almond, and cashew. There’s a couple of other ingredients like Vermont maple.
Sugar, sea salt, and vanilla bean, but this is like my new favorite nut butter. It is so so delicious. I’ve eaten most of the jar. I am in love with this. This is another one that I eat right from the jar, but I’ve also stuffed dates with it and then covered them in chocolate. So good. Next up is one that I haven’t tried yet, but I am super excited for.
These are the cutest marshmallows. This is a funfetti marshmallow. Need like a moment for those sprinkles, please. Hello. These are made in a celiac safe facility. So cute and so fun, and I can’t wait to make some really fun things with them. Haven’t decided what I’m going to use them with yet, but I have some ideas. I’m also just going to.
Eat it straight from the marshmallow itself because like, how could you not? Next up is one of my newest obsessions. These are the elevated drink mixes from Barebones. First of all, the packaging is so pretty. I love those colors. Comes in three flavors. There’s fruit punch, there’s passion fruit, and then there’s lemonade. All of these flavors have 5 g.
Of protein per serving and only 3 g of sugar, and they have some collagen and prebiotics in them. So, let’s go. What I love most about these is that they’re lower in sugar, but they still taste exactly like the flavor. I am a passion fruit lover through and through. My husband got me into them, and I just can never get enough. My daughter also loves.
Passion fruit. What I love most about these is that the flavors taste like what the flavor says. Like this passion fruit one tastes like passion fruit, but not artificial passion fruit, like real passion fruit. The fruit punch we actually haven’t tried yet because we have been going hard between the lemonade and the passion fruit. My.
Daughter is also obsessed with the lemonade. She is asking me every day if we can make more of the juices. So, I will be keeping these stocked. I also plan to make popsicles with them and I love them. Next up, let’s get ready to party with House Party. This is a vegan cheese dip. I’ve heard such amazing things about this from our co-founders.
At Food Social. They rave about this. They eat it by the jar and I am so excited. But next time I go to the store, I will be grabbing some chips and we will be diving in. What I also love about House Party so far is that it came with a handwritten note. Okay, there are a couple brands on Food Social now that leave a handwritten note with the order.
And I just fall in love with that. There’s such intentionality behind that. You’re really just trying to connect with the buyer and I love that. Thank you so much for your order. Welcome to the party. I can’t wait for you to dig in and taste the cheesy dip magic. Lauren, does it get any cuter than that? I don’t think so. Next up is Cobb, which.
Was created from a mom on a mission whose kids had really bad corn allergies, but she didn’t want them to have to miss out on enjoying popcorn. So, she did tons of research and found out that sor gum pops just like popcorn. These are like teeny little bites of heaven. It comes in four flavors. I have the kettle corn to try, but there’s also.
Kacioli pepe, sea salt, and white cheddar. I think I have them all correctly. Don’t quote me on it, but I’m pretty sure. But really fun packaging, and I am so excited for these. Next up is this prickly pear simple syrup from Brushfire Farms. The color is beautiful. I cannot wait to use this in cocktails or other fun concoctions this.
Summertime. I have never actually had prickly pear, but I am intrigued. One of my friends loves prickly pear syrup. Try to say that five times real fast. I’m stumbling. But I’m so excited to try this and see what the flavor profile is like. How fun is this logo and branding? I love it. And last, but only for now because I shop way too much on the food.
Market. This coffee blend portrait coffee makes the most delicious, fresh, flavorful coffees I think I’ve ever had. I’ve already almost gone through this entire bag, but obviously I had to save it so I could share it with you because I am in love with it. It’s so good, so fresh, and has amazing story behind the brand.
So, I encourage you to go check it out on the Food Social Market. Let’s wrap it up the only way we know how. I’m kind of impressed that I didn’t drop any this time. So, if you need any reason to go check out the food social market, let this handful be knew that was going to happen. Let this bundle encourage you to go try something.
New. You never know what you’re going to find. We have over 3,500 products on the market and so many of them are gluten-free. This is just one of my many hauls. I place way too many orders. I have a shopping problem on there, but it’s like the best kind of problem to have. When you shop on Food Social, you are directly supporting the creators.
Because a lot of the money that comes into Food is being redistributed to creators to help compensate them for continuing to create amazing recipes and being able to support their own platform and their own businesses that they’re building. So, I love my dual role. I am so happy to be a part of this community and I hope that you try something new.
When you do decide to shop, use code Alli’s Appetite. A L L I S A P E T I T E. So, use my discount code, try something new, reorder your favorites. So excited to hear what you try, what you love, and what you are most excited about. Thanks for hanging with me, and I hope to see you next time. Bye.
