Delicious and Nutritious Snacks for Your Pup!
Hi I’m Laura from the blog sourdo and.com welcome to my Channel today I’m going to show you how to make homemade dog treats my dog absolutely loves these little cookies and they are so easy to make let’s get started you’re going to need oat flour for this recipe you can either buy oat flour or you can make your own using.
Oldfashioned oats you could use quick oats too if that’s what you have all you need to do is add the oats to a food processor and pulse until it resembles flour it ends up being more coarse than oat flour that has already been processed but it does the job for these dog treats for this recipe the first thing we need.
Need is two large eggs next I’m going to add 100 G of applesauce and 127 G of pumpkin puree alog together that turns out to be about a cup of some type of wet ingredient it could be applesauce pumpkin puree or even mashed banana whatever you have on hand and whatever your dog likes make sure your applesauce.
And pumpkin puree are unsweetened and nothing um is added to them then I like to add 1/4 teaspoon of brown Ginger this is optional but Ginger is really good for your dog’s digestion and my dog has a s sensitive stomach so I like to add it for her now I’m just going to whisk all the wet ingredients and once they’re.
Combined I I will add 267 G of oat flour which I think ends up being about 3 cups for all you need to do now is Stir it all together until no dry flour remains then using a small cookie scoop scoop the dough into balls and place them on a parchment lined cookie sheet.
For for now that they’re all in the cookie sheet I’m going to use a little water that I placed in my mixing bowl on my hand to prevent sticking and then gently press each cookie once they’re all pressed I will bake them in a 300 50° F oven for 16 minutes and that’s all there is to it I.
Hope your dog enjoys these as much as mine does in fact mine has been stalking me the whole time I’ve been making these I think I’ll give her one sit sit good girl thanks for watching
