Indulge in Irresistible Flavor: Delightfully Cheesy and Garlicky Rolls without the Gluten Guilt!

everybody so I wanted to start a new series where I take cookbooks that aren’t necessarily glutenfree and see if I can make the recipes glutenfree so one thing I struggle with is I want to be a fit healthy healthier version of myself and I have been working on this for years truthfully and one of the things.

That I struggle with the most is keeping it budget friendly while also being glutenfree and I see all of these Fitness influencers posting their cookbooks and all these different recipes that will make your life easier and they’re budget friendly but none of them are glutenfree so my mission is to try to make some content that is more.

Towards people like me who do struggle with having to live with a gluten-free uh lifestyle and not having much content for them so I will also be making from a spec another glutenfree cookbook that was gifted to me but I’ll get to that later so today I am going to be focusing on live carbonera I hope I said her last name right uh she is one of my favorite.

Fit fit influencers Fitness influencers on Instagram I bought her cookbooks and I have so far been incredibly impressed so I wanted to make her cheesy garlic rolls today so hopefully these turn out good I’m really excited I love bread I love garlic cheesy rolls and I haven’t had them in so long because you can’t find them gluten-free so without further.

Ado let’s get started so for the actual roll the actual dough it asks for half a cup of Greek yogurt which I’ve already pre-prepared my ingredients here uh 2/3 cup of flour baking soda salt and garlic powder so I used and I don’t know how to pronounce the name but this is the brand of yogurt that I used I have King Arthur’s measure for measure.

Gluten-free flour which I found to be probably the most budget friendly gluten-free flow out there for me anyway that I’ve actually enjoyed and then just I have no idea what baking soda it is uh my container broke and I found a little thing to put it in so here you go baking soda and I have never been able to find garlic powder or it’s always been out of.

Stock so I have garlic salt so I’m not going to be using salt uh on top of this just going to be using this for the seasoning of the actual rolls and my little paddle attachment that I I was so excited when I got this but let’s get started on this shall we so first we’re going to I don’t have a little spatula let me get a little.

Spatula we’re going to going to insert start with the yogurt going to add the flour and then the baking soda Bakers out there don’t come for me I know this isn’t proper but it’s okay I also know that my hair is down and you’re just going to have to deal with the fact that my hair is down cuz this.

Is being made for me and me only so and lastly garlic salt about two much cuz I don’t want it to be too salty and get that started while that is going we are going to start with cutting up the cheese it asks for three lowfat cheese sticks I’m just using Great Value part skin.

Mozzarella sticks supposed to make nine servings so we’ll cut those up now that those Haven been cut up we’re just going to go ahead and set those aside and grab our dough I did already go ahead and preheat my oven she calls for an air fryer but my air fryer is teeny tiny so I am using a regular old oven so I set that at 400 and went ahead and.

Preheated it it is already done preheated so this is how it kind of looks like right now it’s super crumbly and typically at this point I would add more yogurt to it so that it’s a little bit more moist and hopefully it came together but I’m going to mix this by hand a little bit more and see if I can.

Get like a nice doughy consistency and if not then we’ll go ahead and add a little bit more Greek yogurt to be able to give it that moisture that a lot of gluten-free dough need a little extra so let’s go ahead and mix that up all right so after some hard laborious I can’t speak glorious work I’ve gotten this ball of dough right.

Here so we’re going to go ahead and start making the little balls and then add the cheese to it all right now that I’ve scooped those out we’re going to add the cheese to it I am now looking at these and these are going to be way too big to fit into these little balls so we are going to.

Have to cut those up a little bit more I will probably cut them in half even more so more so around this like that and I’ve also got a little bit of oil it does say to cover hands in oil or water so the dough doesn’t stick to your hands so that’s why we got a little bit of oil right here so we’re going to go ahead and start shaping the dough.

This is uh the way that I would do it when I would make like tortillas or buas with my family so I’m just going to stick to that with making these um if you have a problem with it um I think that’s a you problem not a me problem and just deal with it again I am no in no way shape or form a professional chef and I’m kind of just swinging this and.

Just trying to see if I can make these gluten free or not and I’m hoping that I can I so often fail at making things that are bread like or doughy like actually glutenfree and have like a nice moist I know I hate that word too but a nice consistency where it doesn’t feel too crumbly or too doughy or it doesn’t taste too I guess doughy and taste.

Decent so I’m actually really excited about these like I said I’ve been following G for a while now and I really like her stuff I’ve actually been super impressed by the few recipes of hers that I’ve already tried and this one I am also just super excited so yeah all right now that we’ve got those.

Let’s set up our pan with some parchment paper let’s go ahead and put these in the oven they’re rolling around all right we are going to let those sit in the oven for 8 to 12 minutes and while that is getting set we’ll go ahead and make the garlic.

Butter for it I’m going to set that into the microwave for a few seconds just to let the butter really really melt so now that that is really nice and melted going to let that sit for a little bit let’s get these out of the oven shall.

We so I started doing the dishes and I definitely let these cook a little too long but it’s fine we’re going to use a little bit of that butter to coat the top of them all right and then lastly a little taste test had I not burnt the crap out of.

These they’d be really amazing and The Taste is really great it doesn’t taste too doughy the cheese is nice and melty on the inside I would 100% make these again for sure these are so good oh my gosh Liv has done it again wow.

Yeah that’s all it yeah just wow they’re really yummy uh I will post the macros at the bottom in the description and everything but I’m not going to add the exact measurements just because this is not my recipe if you guys want the recipe I don’t know you you could probably find it on Liv’s page somewhere on her Instagram otherwise it is in her.

Cooking book I believe it is the fit foodie living cooking book so I highly highly suggest looking at her stuff it’s amazing and I’ve been blown away every time I’ve made one of her recipes so definitely go give her a look and go give it a try and we’ll see what in it make next.
