Deliciously Comforting and Easy to Make

For those looking to create delicious gluten-free biscuits, a reliable recipe is essential. This particular recipe calls for 2 cups of King Arthur gluten-free measure-to-measure flour blend, ensuring that even those with gluten sensitivities can enjoy a hearty biscuit. The addition of 1 teaspoon of salt and 2 tablespoons of aluminum-free baking powder enhances the flavor and texture, making for a delightful treat that pairs well with various dishes.

The rich, flaky texture of the biscuits is achieved by incorporating 5 tablespoons of cold butter and 1 1/3 cups of cold milk, which may need to be adjusted depending on the humidity levels. Baking at 425°F for 15 to 18 minutes yields perfectly risen biscuits, while those using an air fryer can set the temperature to 400°F and bake for 8 to 10 minutes. For individuals without gluten allergies, substituting all-purpose flour is an option that can also yield great results.

Hi everyone today I’m going to show you how I make my gluten-free biscuits and my gluten-free sausage gravy this is the flow that I found best suited in my family the King Arthur measure for measure gluten-free flour blend here’s ingredients on the back if you do not have a gluten allergy just use allpurpose.

Flour I start out with two cups I showed two different ways you can sift this I found the SI is better one teaspoon of salt and 2 tablespoons of baking powder you want to make sure it is Aluminum free the Kroger brand was not but the rum fruit is aluminum free cuz if you use too much it gives it a metallic.

Taste so it’s two tablespoons of that and make it sure it’s well Blended I grate five tablespoons of cold butter you can dice this real small if you want and put it in there but I found this way was best for these type of biscuits their recipe called for one cup of.

Milk and I blended that in but I found that it was still too dry and it just wasn’t sticking together see how it’s falling apart so I slowly added milk to it I think it equaled for me about a third of a cup of milk until I got to the consist consistency that I wanted for my flower to where it held.

Together better see it’s not so dry I flow my Surface and I put my dough from the bowl onto that flowed surface and I start patting it down I’m trying to get it to where I get layers in my biscuit so I just continue to fold and.

Pat eventually I have it at four layers high and I will Pat that down into the height that I wanted my biscuits anywhere from A4 inch to a half inch thickness you dip your biscuit cutter into the flour and press straight down and lift up do not twist it when you twist you seal off the edges and you don’t get the rise in the biscuit that.

You need I think I wind up getting 13 biscuits out of this while I’m doing this I have my oven preheated at 450° F with a cast iron skillet in it you can put it on a baking dish or anything but if your biscuits touch they will rise a little bit more if they’re.

Separated they don’t rise as much I add two tablespoons of butter to my cast iron skillet I know this is a lot of butter but trial and error this is about the best way I found to do it you can flip your biscuits around in the butter so it’s all coated I lowered my oven down to 425° while I’m doing this I put it in.

There for 15 to 18 minutes to bake I start rounding up my meat and you can use any kind of sausage you want or ground beef I salt and pepper to taste and it was I add a little couple tablespoons of butter you do not have to do this but mine was uh more more lean beef and I needed.

That and then 1/4 cup of the gluten-free flour mix that in well and let it cook anywhere from 30 seconds to a minute just to where your flowers cook through you don’t want it to burn though you add milk till it just covers the crumbles and you start stirring do not walk away from your gravy at this point you just continue to stir it get all the.

Goodness off the bottom of the pan I do this until it’s the consistency that I like the thickness when you start seeing it on the bottom of the pan you know you see the bottom pan when you’re scraping add more milk it looks watery but it will thicken up that’s the consistency that you need when you see that.

It’s that thick you remove it from the element so it can stop cooking my biscuits are done and this is about as brown as I can get them if I wait and let them get too Brown then they get too hard well I promised y all I do biscuits and gravy and that’s what I did I didn’t use sausage gravy I used.

Hamburger but you can do the same with your favorite sausage and it’s exactly the same way but that’s that’s it and the biscuits are soft as long as you don’t overcook them I overcooked them the first time and it was bad well let see what my husband thinks.

Of it what do you think it’s good does it taste like gluten-free no it tastes good and he’s a picky eater until next time thank you all for coming God bless each and every one of you and I pray that the Lord surrounds you with your love his love and Heavenly.

Angels see you again
