Subscribers so thank you guys this week German chocolate brownies or German chocolate cake it’s a thick gooey delicious cake which is oh I don’t know a brownie that’s what you got there a lot of people rode in last week all one of them and they said hey this is a German C.

What’s it why does nuts and coconut and butter why is that German what I no no no the guy’s name is Sam German and I kid you not yeah he’s the same guy that started that baker’s chocolate that company too yeah his name could have been Jose it doesn’t matter it could have been a Jose brownie cake but it’s not it’s a German chocolate brownie.

Let’s just put it that way let’s get started I’ll give the ingredients as we’re going you’re going to love this one take notes now we’re just going to make some brownies very simple stuff 3/4 of a cup white sugar give me a stick of butter melt it but keep it warm not like hot.

Just keep it warm boom Going to whisk give me a minute straight it gets nice and melted and gooey right about a minute and a half now you add the vanilla right little bit one teaspoon two teaspoons two eggs whisk it again another two three minutes break those.

Yolks and get some air in here those eggs are going to be your lift so you want them to be fluffy there’s no baking powder baking soda none of that stuff you’re on your own dude great your whole life depends on two freaking eggs all right let’s retire this whisk and we put 2/3 of a cup your favorite cocoa powder in.

Here got 3/4 of a cup of AP flour I’m using Bob’s glutenfree Red Mill that’s two and that’s three quarters that is and this is this is the end of two tablespoons regular tap water half a cup powdered sugar couple of pinches of salt and mix just mix it in regular.

Spatula is fine don’t mix it fast all this powder in here for about a minute it’s your enemy then all of a sudden it’s your lap dog poetic to it see how nice and gooey it gets look at that baby and got a half a cup chips you don’t have to do it to chips but it gives it a nice goess you know not just all cakey.

It’s all gets it nice and gooey when they melt but not a lot just a little if you like chocolate you have come to the right guy all right let’s get that baking pan ready that 9 by9 in baking pan I’m going to set it up with parchment paper and I’ll be back okay parchment in see if I can do this without getting.

In your way so you can see I know it’s all about you right I know I know of course it is be doing this for my cats I don’t think so and spread it out carefully don’t let the paper move around so much too much you know what I mean just get it out to those edges and those Corners then worry.

About the rest but that’s the important thing you don’t want weak Corners I hate that smack down smack down and wiggle this a 60s dance I think oven 350 check it at 20 toothpick in the middle dry you know the story and while the brownies are baking let’s get a medium low heat on here medium saucepan.

That is and give me 2/3 of a cup of evaporated milk full fat 2/3 of a cup of brown sugar packed two large egg yolks that’s going in 5 tablespoons of unsalted butter that’s going in couple of pinches of salt that’s all ready in and get that mixed around whisk is good.

Break those eggs up first you will find that this will all melt into a delicious creamy topping but you have to let it go for a couple of minutes once it starts simmering to let those eggs thicken your mixture so don’t you know don’t go crazy you’re you got to 20 minutes to bake the.

Cake where are you running off to anyway to watch your stories what is this the’ 70s you know what Ian and she’s bubbling on you now see once the bubbling starts go another minute make sure it’s not it’s not going to be like thick like.

Molasses you’ll know what thick is and now we will turn it off why I’ll tell you why got to add the 2/3 of a cup of peans that’s why boom that’s one cup sweetened shredded a coconut oh my God and I’m going to put another cup in there it’s a weak cup little more than 3/4 of a cup is good remember your heat.

Is off now and again our friend pinch of salt little teaspoon of vanilla mix let it cool to room temperature when this cake is done we’re going to slather it all over the top you’re going to love this all right so let’s wait for the baking to happen and for the cooling to go down baby boom so the brownies are done I put them in the.

Refrigerator for about 2 hours to make it easy to put on the delicious topping or frosting that we have I used Department paper to make it easy to lift out and to handle otherwise it cracks apart and then everybody gets all mad right you don’t want that so they have that we have a topping and you didn’t hear this for me but you.

Can maybe underbake it if you want just a little bit so in the middle it’s a little bit um what can I say moist sorry ladies because it’s a brownie you know you don’t want the brownie police waiting in your freaking bushes but you don’t have to it’s still going to be brownie like just not as gooey that’s all you know like those.

Things that they call them volcanoes and the restaurants yeah that’s it but I digress here’s your topping you want to keep that out to room temperature if you have been refrigerating it and guess what you just plop it on the top just like that see easy.

Spatula this is like a separate dessert on top here for all you people that were thinking hey that’s a separate dessert on on top there and try to get it to the corners I’m a perfectionist so I’ll be here for not longer than 2 3 hours in the corner believe me this is so much.

Easier when everything’s chilled so just do as I say that’s why you tuned in right yeah right and that my friend is a German chocolate brownie cake I’ll call it because I didn’t know what to say after brownie now you can do this and you can also like subscribe and share because who wouldn’t.

Want to make this I’m going to try side view see that Brownie and lots of topping I mean it’s like a crumb cake I just want the crumbs but you’ll like the brownie too so please share and give me a thumbs up because I am Chef cell and I will see you next time
