Savor the Flavor: Indulge in a Gluten-Free Twist on Classic Turkey Kotleti

Hi guys and welcome to my Channel today I’m presenting to you a glutenfree recipe for turkey catl catl is a Russian word it means patties that are made with ground meat it’s the most popular dish in former Soviet Union in my family we ate catlet pretty much every single week let’s get started in a large mixing bowl I have.

950 G which is about 2 lb of lean ground turkey to which we’re going to add two large eggs um eggs here is just to help catlet retain its shaped while cooked so it’s a necessity add about a tablespoon of CER salt and we’re also going to add 1 teaspoon or about of uh freshly ground black pepper and this is my favorite.

Spice to use in poultry which is ground coriander we’re going to use one teaspoon in our recipe we also will use one large sweet onion and 5 to six gloves of garlic and I explain to you what a sweet onion is and why am I using it so sweet onions are larger than yellow onions with a light skin as the name suggested sweet onion have a sweet.

Flavor due to high sugar content making them Great Onion to eat raw or to use in any kind of sauces and here are some varieties that you could use they include wala wala Texas sweet onion Maui and Vidalia and the reason I’m using the sweet onion because while Blended it’s going to turn into paste and it’s going.

To get incorporated into our catlet mix very easily and produce a lot of flavor so in a small food processor we’re going to add cut up uh pieces of onions and all our garlic and we’re going to process um this onion and garlic until it turns in a very smooth paste like that look at this very.

Smooth then we will add our garlic and onion paste into our catlet mix and it’s going to produce a lot of juiciness in our catlet and now t a very secret ingredient don’t tell anyone we’re going to use 3 tablespoon of mayonnaise in our catlet mix if you didn’t know mayonnaise is a natural tenderizer it also helps.

The meat to stay juicier now put your gloves on and mix it all up and if you noticed it is a very liquidy catlet mix so we just need to deal with it and I’ll show you how we’re going to form catlet later but look at the texture I mean it might vary from time to time depends on what kind of Turk you use but it is going to be very liquidy we’re just.

Going to cover it and we’re going to let it settle a little bit in in the fridge for about 20 minutes to fry our catlet we’re going to need some clarified butter and I like this kind I will enclose the link for you um down in the description box we’re going to need three tablespoons of clarified butter which is also called key and this is how.

We’re going to form our catl which’re just going to pretty much scoop it up um so once again put your gloves on scoop up the catlet you sometimes I use the ice cream scoop to make them more rounder but this uh shape is more traditional for catl we’re just going to wait until they Brown on one side and turn them on the other side and also.

Brown them they don’t have to be completely done all the way through because we’re going to transfer them into bakon dish uh and now we’re just going to bake them for a little bit bit to give them a little bit more juiciness and fluffiness so add about couple splashes of um water and cover your bacon dish with um parchment paper and.

Aluminum foil here it is so I have a parchment paper layer and aluminum foil and we’re going to stick it in the oven at 400° for about 10 minutes and after after they come out they’re going to look like this they’re going to be completely cooked all the way through while remaining all the.

Juiciness every time I cook something for you and film someone has to eat it and this time it’s my turn because this is going to be my lunch for today I’m going to have three catl laid on the some pieces of lettuce and look how ju see they are just going to have couple Tomatoes there too and they’re completely glutenfree so there’s no.

Bread used and those no bread crumbs uh to even fry them and they’re so delicious and trust me they taste like a real turkey I hope you like this video please follow me on some other social media platforms and don’t forget to subscribe and hit this notification Bell not for not to miss any videos in in the future and as.
