Savor the Comfort: A Wholesome Twist on a Classic Favorite!
Hi hi hi hi hi hi happy 2025 Happy New Year hope it’s a great year for you for everybody okay I’m can’t believe that today is the what date is today 7 s wow today is January 7th and I’m finally getting on board here with the video.
So today’s video is going to be about me making my crustless chicken pot pie I went through figured out all the numbers I am glutenfree so I would rather just make it crustless just have the the filling and I’m happy with that I don’t need you know I I don’t do well trying to make.
Homemade gluten-free stuff with gluten-free flowers I don’t do well with that okay so I figured out the calories and the ingredients for how I normally make this I would start with 2 tablespoon of margarine which is 120 calories and then I put in the two tablespoons of flour and my gluten-free flour is 55 calories.
For two tablespoons and you know I get that R going and I’ll add milk so a cup of milk is 150 calories water Zer calories then I toss in you know the vegetables or the chicken the vegetables uh according to the Frozen package it’s 50 calories per serving then the chicken according to.
The package is uh one calorie per gram uh boneless skinless chicken breast so the piece that I weighed out f is 89 G so if we add up the margarine the flour the vegetable the chicken and the milk it comes to 464 calories that is a lot I want to cut that down so today I have not made it.
Yet but I’m going to make it I want to cook the vegetables and the chicken which is 89 calories for the chicken 50 calories for the vegetables and then instead of making that big sauce put two tablespoons of sour cream on it when it’s done or right before it’s done stir that in have that be the little bit of white sauce which is 60.
Calories so that total will be 199 calories so from 464 to 1.99 it’s a huge huge difference I’m going to go ahead and make this show you when it’s done I will be back okay here it is it’s a not pretty but uh I weighed out the sour cream into the bowl first 30 G and then I put the.
Chicken and the vegetables in stirred it up so this is my crustless gluten-free low cal uh chicken pot pie crustless chicken pot pie gluten-free and low cal and what did I say the calories were one 199 calories so I can just round that to a 200 calorie lunch thanks for watching.
See you later bye
