Fluffy Bites of Delight: Whip Up These Simple Gluten-Free Treats in No Time!
So, I’m back in the kitchen. I’m going to do a recipe. I’ve got some bananas here that um need using um because they’re getting a bit old, but look how tiny they are. This is in Mora. We got these at the supermarket. And these are the ones we got from locals that were selling the side of the road. Anyway, these need to be used up. And I thought.
We got lots of tapioca starch. We got these bananas. I’ve got some eggs. So, I’m just going to make some little pancakes or plets I should say for the kids. and my mom and sister. So, all I’m going to do is just peel these up, pop these in here. So, again, this is another gluten-free recipe. Um, in all honesty, I haven’t tried this yet. So,.
We’ll see how it goes. Hopefully, it works. Yeah, it will. Um, and all we’re going to use on these when they’re cooked is some honey cuz we’ve got honey to use up as well. um before we obviously go back. Big on using everything that we have available to us so we’re not wasting food. Um very big on that at.
Home as well. Got leftover bananas. Make some banana bread. That sort of thing. We’ve got these. So yeah, pop those in. Just quickly wash my hands. Sensory thing for me. Okay, now I’m going to crack in probably three eggs to.
This in there. Okay. And then just a tablespoon or two of tapioca starch. It’s funny when I try and teach my son to cook. He’s like, “How much, mom?” I’m like, “Oh, just a splush.” It was just a splush of vanilla. Just a sprinkle of flour. He’s like, “How much is that?” I’m like,.
“Just this much.” So, I’ve put three in. We’ll see how that goes. Should be fine. Does anyone else cook that by feeling? That’s how we, my family does it. Plugging in. That loud noise. Sorry. All right. Loud noise.
It’s a nice thick consistency. So, I’m going to turn all the stove now. Now, if I was at home, I would be using coconut oil to cook these in. But I don’t have coconut oil, so I’m going to be using the olive oil instead for this. So, heating this.
Up. And because of the type of mixture it is, and it doesn’t have a whole heap of ingredients, the piplets work better for this sort of thing. Um, when you do them big, it’s really hard to flip them. So you can see it’s quite a thick consistency this one. Get my egg flip wherever it is. So just little small.
Amounts should work well. The bananas here are super sweet and creamy. They don’t use any pesticides. Then literally you just go up into the jungle and just pull. We’ve actually got bananas growing on the place that we’re staying at as well. They’ve got the banana trees around and the bananas are.
Up there. It’s amazing. And the taste is just so different to the bananas that we have um in Australia or from what I’m used to eating. So, I’ll let those cook through. I’ll come back to you once they’ve flipped them and they’re ready. So, just about finished up with these now. Little little taste test and they’re really good.
So all we need to do now play them up. Drizzle a little little goodness. Honey. This is theirs. Ma’s honey. It’s really yum. You don’t need to add the honey unless you want to. Um fruit wise, I’m going to chop up some apples and chuck that on top.
Um, but there you go. That is the three ingredient plets and they’re delicious. I hope you enjoy. I’ll put the recipe down in the comments as well.
