Celebrating with Flavor: A Gluten-Free Culinary Adventure Through Epcot’s Festive Delights!

oh oh eating gluten-free at Disney is surprisingly easy we live in Miami so we drove 4 hours to Orlando to go to Disney World for new years’s first I looked up some.

Options on Reddit and found tons of information then I cross referenced with the find me gluten-free app and finally I used the My Disney Experience app to check out all of the dining options at Epcot the park we were going to you can make reservations for restaurants right on the app and I definitely recommend making reservations in advance we.

Arrived in Orlando and met friends for dinner at Disney Springs which is an outdoor shopping mall owned by Disney they have tons of restaurants there and we chose Ragin Road an Irish pub with amazing gluten-free options they even have gluten-free fish and chips and gluten-free beer I was in.

The mood for a burger so that’s what I went with with a gluten-free bun of course definitely Reserve in advance for Regan Road as they are super popular they have daily performances of live Celtic music and Irish dancing and it’s really a fun.

Place around the corner from Ragin road is an entirely gluten-free bakery called Aaron McKenna Aaron McKenna is both gluten-free and vegan and while I loved having all the gluten-free options here I did find it to be a little too sweet for my taste however my friend odalis really enjoyed.

Her cupcake the next day we started with breakfast at our hotel hot we stayed at a Hampton Inn which actually includes free breakfast I was pleasantly surprised to find a few gluten-free options there then we headed to Disney to the Epcot theme park Epcot was part of Walt Disney’s Vision however it was built in 1982 many years after his death.

Epcot has two sections future world and the world showcase both sections are so much fun and feature rides exhibits and lots of dining options we grabbed a cup of coffee and set off to enjoy some rides before lunch my daughter really loves the movie Frozen so that ride in the Norway.

Pavilion was definitely a must we headed to the French Pavilion for our lunch reservation we had a reservation at laerie a restaurant that specializes in galette French creps made of buckwheat flour and therefore naturally gluten-free we usually like to eat a late lunch as our big meal of the day.

And so we ordered their prefix option which was huge this gets you a choice of a soup or Salad to start a CP with your feeling of choice and then a choice of dessert so we’re here in epcat center right now in the France Pavilion and honestly Disney in general is one of the easiest.

Places to eat food and free there’s actually a ton of options but there’s a one place here that I didn’t know about so I did a little research on voting free options here and I found that in France there’s this restaurant um it’s a crippy so they make Crips and so CPS in France they can be made with white flour which is kind of your typical CP there’s.

Another type of CP that originally comes from the north of France in Britney and that’s made with buckwheat flour and actually those crusts are Glen free which is awesome they’re also actually pretty healthy because buckwhat is really good for you so um I got excited when I learned that there was an option like that in the France Pavilion so I.

Made a reservation this is really important for the sit down restaurants at Disney especially upcot Center you really want to make reservations in advance and we’re here on New Year’s so for sure you want to make a reservation so I was very lucky I think I got one of the last reservations um and we eat at weird hours so we’re eating at three.

Today when we like to eat lunch so so it was perfect so they have a free which is actually I think is a great deal especially I mean Disney is going to be a little bit pricey but I think this is quite worth it because you get a choice of uh an entree cep and a dessert CB and um I’m going to do both my my entree C and my dessert C the free op the option.

So normally they would make the dessert ceps with white flour but they do have the option here to make your dessert CP uh cooking free which is a really cool option option so I’m going to do that for both of mine I chose the salad because today soup option you could get it with a soup option but they said that one does have gluten so unfortunately I.

Couldn’t get that but I’m getting the salad which I’m sure is going to be great um and also what’s really nice is they give you the option to order with your prefixed meal this hard slider so this is a French sparkling apple cider it’s made 100% for apples um this is the brute version so very light in Sugar so I think that’s a really cool option you.

Feel like you’re in Fr after lunch since we were already in the France Pavilion we headed over to the new ride there based on the film Ratatouille despite the long line this ride is truly a blast we actually did it twice Carlos even picked up a little friend as a.

Souvenir that was such a cool ride afterwards we went to go get something to drink and we noticed that the France Pavilion offers macaron in their Bakery which are naturally gluten-free we spent the rest of the day doing as many rides as possible and enjoying the beautiful holiday decorations in the.

park there were lots of special Foods available just for the holidays some of them even gluten-free at the end of the evening we headed back to France to get some ice cream and enjoy the beautiful fireworks all the qu be forgot and never brought to mind should.

all it was truly a perfect day the next day we had a reservation for lunch at another restaurant in Disney Springs hello hello is a Spanish restaurant by famous Chef Jose Andres we thought it would be a great way to celebrate the New.

Year Halo offers mostly Tapas small plates that are usually shared by the table we liked what we ordered however the portions are quite tiny despite ordering many different topas we left the restaurant to bit hungry our favorite was actually the dessert a basque cheesecake that was.

Gluten-free however Halo does have a quick service restaurant next door and you can get the cheesecake there as well after eating we headed back for the 4-Hour drive home this was such a fun quick family trip if you’re planning a trip to to Disney and you have any type of allergies or food restrictions you’ll find Disney one of the easiest places.

For this they really go the extra mile in accommodating needs of all kinds I’m definitely looking forward to our next family trip to Disney
