Deliciously Gluten-Free: Culinary Adventures Under the Stars!
Hey guys, it’s Kaylee from Gluten-Free Runner and my family and I are going camping for 10 days in um a bunch of other states. So, I wanted to show you the gluten-free food that I’m bringing and some of the meals that we’re going to have while we’re camping because I’m gluten-free and for people with celiac.
Disease, it can be really hard to travel and I wanted to show you some of my tips. A few weeks ago, I made a video similar to this one that was like what I’m bringing to FBLA because I went to a hotel for 3 days. Liked my tips. So I’m a girls girl and I want to help you guys. So I’m going to show you some gluten-free camping food and camping meals. So let’s get started. Also, side note, my family and I have an RV travel trailer with a full kitchen and fridge and freezer and that sort of thing. So this is so that’s what we’re working with. So that’s how I’m.
Able to do a lot of these meals. Another thing I just wanted to show you guys is this. It’s a travel crockot that my mom has. So um we’re also going to be making some crock-ot meals, which I made a video of crock-ot meals a while back when I first started my channel that are gluten-free and easy. Description below. All right, now let’s actually get started. So, like I said before, we’re going camping in our brand new travel trailer, and sadly, we won’t be able to bring the dogs this time, but maybe next time. Okay, so that means I can bring all the delicious gluten-free goodness without feeling deprived. So, of course,.
I have fruits and veggies because these are naturally gluten-free. I love good fresh fruits and veggies, especially with hummus or even dipped in guacamole or ranch. absolute lifesaver. The fridge is super super nice. I’m so glad I can have that. But even if you were camping without a fridge, you can always bring fruits and veggies. This I love fresh.
Produce. So, we’ve got plenty of avocados, apples, grapes, carrots, cucumbers, that sort of thing. Next, we have lunch meats. These are gluten-free. My whole family eats lunch meats. I like turkey breast, but my siblings like ham. I also have some hummus because you know love veggies. And then some butter. It’s such a cute little packaging. And some.
Cheese. Some string cheese and shredded Mexican cheese. And I thought I would just show you real quick. Look how cute this is. So that’s the big butter that we keep in our fridge at home. Look how cute this tiny little butter is. Isn’t that just adorable? It’s like the big butter had a baby. Anyway, super cute. All right. Next, for dinner, we got.
Frozen veggies. These are a total lifesaver. You just pop them in the m microwave, heat them up. Perfect warm veggies that taste really good. I love broccoli. Then I’ve got gluten-free tortillas. You know how much I love my tacos, but these are also perfect for breakfast burritos, peanut butter and honey roll-ups, or even quick wraps for.
Lunch. And then I have Bonsza microwave mac and cheese. love some microwave rice, which is also a lifesaver. Easy filler, good carbs, taco shells. We got canned chicken for some extra protein that is also shelf stable. That way, just in case my family goes out and gets something that I can’t have, I can still have some chicken. Then, we’ve got some.
Gluten-free canned chili. Uh because you know chili is a good camping food with some chili dogs. Canned fruits and veggies like peaches, pears, corn, peas, green beans, that sort of thing. And then because we love tacos and walking tacos, plenty of beans. Next for breakfast, I love these veggies made great gluten-free muffins. You keep them.
In the freezer, microwave them, and they are super delicious. My siblings even eat them and they don’t know that they’re gluten-free. Then I have gluten-free oatmeal. I love this Nature’s Path one and chocolate chip. And I also put protein powder in it. And then my favorite cereal is the Seven Sunday cereal. So, of course, I have to.
Bring that. And I got this little rapid egg cooker because if you know me, you know I love my eggs. And this comes with so many options. So, it’s super exciting for camp breakfast. Next, meat. So, obviously, we’re going to bring some ground beef, ground turkey, bacon, which I actually don’t like bacon. I know, sue me. But my family does. Some sausage.
This is gluten-free. Some gluten-free hot dogs for Weenie Beanie. If you don’t know what that is, you need to try it. And then some frozen grilled chicken nuggets and grilled chicken tenders. These are a total lifesaver. You just pop them in the oven, heat them up, and you’ve got instant protein for tacos, salads, or just a quick snack. No fuss,.
All yum. Next, we got peanut butter. Crunch, creamy, and crunchy. I think crunchy is superior, but the rest of my family doesn’t agree with me. And then some jam and honey. Then I have plenty of snacks. If you can’t tell, I love Simple Mills so much. We’ve also got Harvest Snaps, which I love Harvest Snaps. Simple.
Mills. We’ve got the poppoms, which are so good. They taste like goldfish. Some cocoa and cashew cookies, and then the almond flour chocolate chip cookies, which I love. They taste just like chips aoy. And then my favorite crackers. Now, my mom made me a little gluten-free snack bin just for me and filled it with all my favorite snacks. So, here are the.
Some of the snacks that I love. I love partake cookies and crackers. I love anything made good. Super delicious. And then Simple Mills bars new and then a bunch of just random gluten-free bars and snacks. I love the Nature’s Bakery gluten-free fig bars. Uh I love that’s it bars. I really, really love Made Good, like I said. And then.
Bobo’s Oat Bites are super good. Super healthy and tasty and delicious. And for me as a runner, super good because they’re easy carbs. Simple Mills makes gluten-free bars and snacks that are so accessible and yummy, which is why I always have them on hand. I also have some trail mix. Obviously, classic camping.
Food and some dried fruit. Just a bunch of random gluten-free snacks. Feel free to comment below and ask if you have any questions about gluten-free snacks cuz I definitely have recommendations. We also have a bin of just popcorn and chips that is all gluten-free as well. And then some of the stuff in this bin isn’t gluten-free, but I thought I would show.
You anyway. There are more made good things. Some Lara bars, which I just recently tried, and I actually really enjoy Lara bars. So, if you haven’t tried them, I do recommend. They are actually tasty, and I was skeptical at first, but they are good. Then we have some meat sticks and just some random kind of a mixture of granola bars and.
Stuff. And then in here, everything is also gluten-free. There are fruit snacks, fruit strips, applesauce, cranberries, raisins, and more trail mix. And if you haven’t tried this purple cars trail mix, you should. It’s gluten-free. It says so right there on the top. I don’t know if you can see that. And it’s actually pretty darn.
Good. Then more dried fruit, obviously, because I actually am an old lady and I love raisins. Sweet, simple, they take up zero fridge space, great for snacking, adding to oatmeal, or topping off those protein balls. And speaking of that, I am bringing gluten-free protein powder. I love this protein powder because I am a runner and I need some.
Extra calories, and this is an easy way to get it, especially when I’m camping and on the go. So, I just portioned it into some Ziploc baggies. And this is what works for me, but if you have another way that uses less Ziplockc baggies, you can do that, too. I also have my homemade protein balls. These are my secret weapon. I whip these up.
