Plant-Powered Pantry: A Week’s Worth of Vegan and Gluten-Free Goodies

So this is probably like wait got to put this down a little bit this is probably like $50 worth of groceries um yeah probably not 150 maybe like 120 I don’t know who’s counting anyways um I went grocery shopping today today is my seventh day being gluten-free I’m.

Going to do this for a couple more weeks but I feel amazing and I just wanted to show what I got on my little grocery trip I went to Earth Fair I went to Trader Joe’s and I went to Whole Foods um and yeah so let’s unbag this stuff here every week I buy flowers because you got to have fresh flowers in your space I mean.

Hey give your give yourself your flowers it’s very important right these right here these orra trips from Trader Joe’s They’re not paying me to say this they really like that I ain’t even got nothing to say and of course.

Parsley um got some cilantro so um last week I did a juice with just parsley and cilantro and I had that literally every day um to start my morning and that was a nice little detox so I’m going to do it again um I’m going to do some of my massaged kale salad which is so good oh my gosh I can’t wait to.

Share that recipe with y’all I’m probably going to record um a tutorial tonight so we’ll see um some green onions some vegan a of course um and cucumbers produce stuff I get all my produce from the heal food stores because I do only.

Organic I’m trying these out I’ve tried the bagels from this company but this is my first time doing this sandwich bread by Odo I’m really excited to try those um they were on sale at Earth here for $3.99 so I’m like let’s try it and they’re gluten-free vegan of course you know some popcorn I’m not really a huge.

Snacker I can be but I don’t buy snacks because they’ll be gone broccoli um so here’s the thing about Trader Joe’s if you don’t know if you’re not hip to it let me tell you 2 lbs of organic Granny Smith apples for $3 is unheard of at any grocery store I said.

Organic nothing organic is cheap right or affordable I’ll say so Trader Joe’s got the Apple prices online um I get my kenoa from Trader Joe’s because you know $349 it’s organic and uh yeah I bought some carrots because I’m going to do my carrot tuna salad um I enjoy.

Having that in the fridge because it’s just easy to have a sandwich or a wrap during the week or if I wanted to have like massage K I’ll throw some katuna on top um some avocado and a dressing and that’s lunch for me quick simple easy as y’all get to know me I know I love easy I need things to it’s just going to be 1 2 3 ready to go but when.

It comes to me cooking for other people it has to be like details it has to be well thought out and I’m just putting forth the extra energy yall going to learn that about me this is the first video okay of course avocado got some tomato and then some tofu now I know tofu is.

Controversial I know but if you know how to use it it’s delicious granted I’ve been vegan my entire life so I know how to use tofu but for those that want to get into it start with firm tofu and if you can’t find like this tofu here that’s like firm freeze it twice thought out and then it’ll change the texture completely that’s a.

Gem cashew that that’s another thing with Trader Joe’s when it comes to like their nuts their apples and a lot of their grains and Seasonings their prices are super competitive $3 $2.99 I mean come on now and oh we can use that a piece of cantro uh this is brown rice and Kena.

Pasta and I I’m a pasta lover come on now I love I love carbs but I’m gluten-free right now so I wanted to try something new kind of nervous because uh I tried chickpea pasta like a couple months back or maybe it was like last year and uh-uh it was not it uh or at least I didn’t make it right or well of course I made.

It right I followed directions but uh yeah I can’t wait to to try this I think I’m going to do like a pasta salad and then this matcha green tea I’m going to try to make my own Macha latte so I bought this from Trader Joe’s it was only like a dollar so like let me just try.

It and then my favorite Apple honey crisp organic of course and fild day organic or maybe this isn’t organic but um Phill day coconut water from Whole Foods no Earth beer this is the best brand of coconut water every coconut water is different it’s like water you know how spring water has.

Different taste from purified and alkaline this one here is the best um so yeah that’s all I bought from the store um I thoroughly enjoy making this video so I know I’m going to keep it up you’re going to see a lot more of me here on YouTube um so make sure you’re liking commenting subscribing let me know what.

You want to see from me um whether that’s recipes whether that’s Story Time whether that’s me just coming on and cooking with y’all I don’t know let me know what y’all want to see from me make sure you’re following me on all my social media platforms and yeah yeah I will be back again very soon with another video so make sure you’re.
