Controversy Erupts as Vegan + Gluten Free Bakery Caught Passing Off Dunkin’ Donuts

Middle of the boxes was the dut pictured in the first slide exhibit a i John immediately became concerned as to why this one doughnut was decorated differently than all the others and in such a strikingly similar way to a recogniz able chain I pulled out all the items delivered off of our racks immediately and I stored them in the.
Back out of precaution until I can confirm what was or wasn’t happening here as seen in screenshots on slide two I raised my concerns respectfully hoping a simple explanation with confirming evidence would clear this up we Cindy and I were not given satisfactory answers or evidence and in that moment we knew deep down how bad this.
Was and this was bad guys still trying to hold that hope that our trusted fellow vegan small business wasn’t doing something so horrific we scoured the internet for possible sprinkle dupes that would make sense we even ordered the sprinkles she claimed were the ones used as you can see in slide three not only are these sprinkles not labeled.
Vegan or even list the ingredients on the Amazon listing they do not even match the ones on the donut then we ordered an at home gluten test trusted and tried by Gluten Sensitive and allergic individuals the test results as seen in slide four proed to us that at the very least this doughnut and most likely all of her Donuts contain.
Substantial amounts of gluten we can only assume given this recognizable logo design where these Donuts really come from and what other ingredients they might contain we have cut off all personal and business ties with this person effective immediately we are mortified that we provided any of her products to our customers and our family.
We trusted a well-known highly recommended vegan and gluten-free Baker who has claimed to be working as a pastry for over 15 years if you need to spell out to you a vegan gluten-free bakery in Long Island called the Savory fig was buying Dunkin Donuts and then selling them as vegan and gluten-free if you.
Don’t know Dunkin Donuts are not vegan or gluten-free and I have no idea how long she got away with this but it must have been for quite a while several months a year at least because and these are receipts from Matt’s vegan on Instagram Matt pulled up some more receipts there are more identical Donuts to Duncan in the Savory figs Instagram.
Or people who tagged Savory snacks in the duts that they bought from her I’ll take a look here as you can see in these six pictures on the top you have a classic jelly fil dnut from Duncan and next to it on the top you have a classic jelly fil donnut from the Savory fig do they look familiar to you okay then we have the special.

As like promotional material and you know that Duncan promotional products don’t really look like the real thing Matt also uncovered another one of the Savory figs products that looks like it was made by another large brand these lemon raspberry cupcakes with pink icing and yellow sprinkles are made by Rubicon Bakery and.

Kill someone people were going to the Savory figs Instagram and just blowing up all her comments to to the point where her Instagram was completely removed I think she deleted it she deleted herself she deleted her Instagram everything is gone it’s like the Savory fig never existed what’s left in its wake is hundreds of articles.
Online and I almost didn’t make this video because I thought that everyone had heard about this already but I realized that somehow people haven’t so why not let’s chitchat about it because when was the last time something this scandalous rocked the vegan industry and I don’t see how this will not end up in a lawsuit again Michelle could have.
Killed somebody vegan and dairy and egg allergies are really serious if I a vegan of 8 years ate one of her Dunkin Donuts I’d probably be fine maybe my tummy would hurt but if someone with a Celiac disease or a gluten allergy or an egg allergy or a dairy allergy ate these Donuts thinking they were completely safe.

Like Twitter or like X or whatever she like reposted like vegan activism type stuff like animal activism and like was it all fake because I don’t understand how a vegananimal activist would do this it’s already wild enough that anybody would do this right because obviously you could kill someone you could get fined your reputation could be destroyed.
You can get thrown in jail whatever whatever but a vegan animal activist I truly don’t understand like what was going through her head and this had been going for a while because that screenshot from the ex Dunkin Donuts worker was from November and right now this whole Scandal happened in February so November.
December January 4 months at least but I don’t know I don’t know how long this went on because again her Instagram is completely scrubbed and in its place are now fake Instagrams I also don’t know why there would be fake Instagrams let me show you so if you look up the Savory fig now the first Instagram you’ll find is this one theory. fig and it looks.
Like it’s just trying to be her account there’s two Dunkin Donuts photos on the account and then like the rest of it is like fig related things but if you look farther you’ll find a page that looks like a satire page it just says vegan and gluten-free donuts and it’s just three photos of Dunkin.
Donuts and it follows dun dunin so I’m pretty sure the second page is like purely for shits and giggles but the first page I really don’t understand the motivation behind it like it’s definitely a fake account but is it like trying to make a joke cuz it looks like it’s trying to be serious and some people in the comments on that video.
Don’t even know it’s a fake account because they’re commenting on it like how could you sell these Dunkin Donuts to like gluten-free vegans that’s so dangerous and I’m like come on it’s very obviously like not even a real account on top of everything when I first saw this all down on Cindy snacks page I clicked on the Savory fig and I saw that.
They followed me and I wonder if they’re going to see this right now hi Michelle interview like if you’re truly innocent interview I will give you my platform to like say your peace if you truly want but if you’re not innocent girl how could you you could have killed somebody I really don’t understand what you did.
There’s also an update on the whole Cindy snacks thing and let me show you what they posted we we have contacted the supervisor at the division of food safety and inspection from New York Agriculture and markets he stated that they will begin an investigation and will notify us of the results once it’s complete I’m very curious we are also.
Alerted suffel County Department of Health we are waiting to hear back from them about the next step in the process we are looking into several other avenues to ensure accountability is met for this situation we wanted to make it clear that we came forward with this information to keep our community of local vegans and those with food.
