Indulge in Delight: The Ultimate Fluffy Vegan Pancake Recipe

Hi everybody today we’re going to be making super fluffy Dino style gluten-free dairyfree sugar-free vegan pancakes the recipe is super simple I just use flax seed quinoa flour and baking powder you can use a um different kind of gluten-free flour but I find that quinoa flour Works nicely and has.

Like a nice earthy texture and taste to it so what we do is we start off with the flax seeds make sure they’re ground and I add one teaspoon per three pancakes into a bowl and then what you do is you add boiling water just a small bit maybe like um twice the amount of water as to the flax seeds and then you give that a good stir.

And just let that sit for a few minutes while you make the rest of the batter and this makes it um kind of a nice eggy replacement texture for the rest of the batter I use one heat teaspoon per pancake so here I’m making three panc cakes I just add in three heat teaspoons of quinoa flour that ends up to be kind.

Of between a/4 and A3 of a cup of quinoa flour and then to that I just add in a small amount of baking powder maybe um kind of like half a teaspoon third of a teaspoon just add that in and give it a stir so it all mixes together after that you just add in a small amount of um of water into the batter.

Mixture I like to add a small amount at a time because you can always add more water easily if you want and you want the texture to be like a really thick paint at this stage so here I’ve just added a bit of water stir it nice and briskly make sure all of that flour at the bottom of the cup.

Gets mixed in with the mixture and you got to work quite quickly now because the baking powder is starting to react with the water and it’s going to start forming bubbles so once that mixture is all nice and you’ve got that thick paint consistency you can add in the flax seeds that you made earlier so here you.

Can see they’ve thickened up nicely just add that into the mixture make sure you get all of that out and then once that is in there give it a good stir so that it all combines while you’re making the mixture it’s probably a good idea to heat up your pan because like I said you’ve got to work quite quickly with the batter so.

Here I’ve got a nice hot cast iron skillet with a little bit of oil on it and I’m just adding the batter into the pan fairly slowly and this mixture will make around three pancakes these pancakes don’t take long to cook so after a minute you can give them a a feel around the edges and they.

Should be ready to flip so here you can see they’re nice and gold and brown you got to be quite quick as you flip them so that they uh stay in one piece but as you can see they look really nice they’ve got a good golden brown color and then actually.

Once you flip them the second side takes even less time so maybe after about 30 seconds just give it a try for me I love a good banana pancake so here I’m just having half a banana with mine so this is vegan whipped cream that I made from coconut cream just one ingredient it’s really easy and I’ll do.

Another recipe and show you how you can make that but it’s nice and light gives a really rich then you can add a nice good gug of maple syrup sometimes I like to have um maybe a spoonful of jam on top of it or a squeeze of Honey or a gve but here a nice bit of maple syrup always goes well the texture of these pancakes are.

Really light really fluffy and they have a nice earthy taste to them so they’re actually nicer than Diner pancakes or pancakes that you might make with regular flour because they have a bit of a kind of a nicer earthier flavor to them for people who haven’t had quinoa flour before this might be kind of a a new um taste to to acquire but honestly.

These are delicious and once you’ve had them even for people who aren’t gluten-free I think you won’t go back so I hope you like this recipe and enjoy let me know in the comments if you like it
