Hello everyone and welcome to this week’s Trader Joe’s haul we’ve got some new items I think there’s four new items three of them are food related uh so yeah let me just share with you what we got this week first up we completely ran out of eggs so had to pick these up the pasture raised eggs these ones are our favorite at Trader Joe’s and then we’re.
Going to be doing some fish sandwiches for dinner this week so this this is the one that I picked up for the fish the oven ready um breaded cod filets I always get different versions I pretty much like all of the breaded fish that Trader Joe’s carries um but yeah we’ll make some homemade tartar sauce with this and really easy dinner we grabbed.
Some fresh Rosemary over here and then this is for my lunch I’m going to be doing some cucumber sandwiches for lunch this week I already have some cream cheese I bought a big pack of that at Costco but English cucumber over here and then you mix the fresh dill with like some lemon lemon juice with cream cheese it’s so good I grabbed some teeny.
Tiny avocados over here it comes with six small avocados in the bag great price and then these are the bio buns that I grabbed for those fish sandwiches over here is another dinner for this week I grabbed this pasta the bucati pasta I just like the little Spirals and then the organic Italian dressing with Romano cheese you pour.
This the dressing over chicken with cream cheese and a crock pot you cook the noodles another really easy crock poot dinner so we love that we also grabbed some organic erom medley cherry tomatoes these ones are my favorite and then over here I grabbed some new yogurt I believe these are new you guys can always correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve.
Never seen them before so I grabbed all four flavors let me know which two flavors that you want us to try in the taste test cuz I don’t want to be wasteful so I don’t want to open up all four of them so the first flavor that we’ve got is the blueberries and cream yogurt this actually sounds really good like blueberries and cream like all the.
Flavors sound really good okay so here’s the nutrition facts and the ingredients okay so here are the four flavors we’ve got the raspberries and cream vanilla and cream Mayer lemon and cream and the blueberries and cream so out of all the four flavors let us know what two that you want us to try in the taste test and we will go ahead and try.
Them over here I just got a block of the Italian dry salami so over here we’ve got a brand new deodorant that Trader Joe’s came out with this was this one is aluminum and baking soda free which is great the deodorant that I use is aluminum free but I have never tried or seen UNS scented deodorant that seems kind of weird to me like how is it going.
To work if it’s not scented I don’t know but I will definitely give it a try because I always like the cleaner versions of stuff so yeah definitely curious to see if this is going to work or not but it’s a great price so if it does work I mean it’s a steal in cas in case you guys were curious here are the ingredients on the.
Deodorant I ran out of one of my favorite seasonings the Italian style sof frea seasoning so great I thought I had one in my cabinet um but we didn’t but I was glad that Trader Joe still carried it because sometimes they are out of stock of the seasoning and it’s one of my favorites these sour cream glazed donuts are back these are a.
Seasonal item so I picked them up Lakeland will be so excited after school to see these she loves these donuts and then she also love these I grabbed these for her a couple of weeks ago these are the colby jack snack sticks and she loved them for some reason she doesn’t like the snacking cheese that I buy at Sam’s Club anymore you know kids one.
Week they love something one week they don’t but she loved this one so I grabbed these for her and her lunches and then Tristan likes the other cheese so he is good to go with that I picked up some pizza seasoned Tuscano cheese and some pepperoni we’re going to be doing some homemade um pizzas this week for dinner so that’s what that’s for and.
Then I also picked up just some smoked turkey breast too just in case um I don’t want like a cucumber sandwich I can just make like a turkey sandwich this week for lunch now the next new item is the one that I’m most excited for this week you guys know me so you guys know that this is just totally going to be at my alley this is the.
Spicy meat pizza so it’s with a calan recipe smoked sausage meatballs and grilled red bell peppers okay that sounds interesting I don’t think I’ve ever had a pizza with meatballs on it before but sounds good so cannot wait to try this one later okay so here’s the nutrition facts and then let’s zoom in those are the ingredients right there.
Next up we picked these up last week and we tried them in the taste test these are the Jo o cereal bars peanut butter flavor there’s five bars in each box and as you can tell Brent loved them it was funny cuz after the taste test video he had like a couple I think like that night in the next morning he came to me and he’s like Amanda he’s like I totally.
Regret not putting this as my number one item in the taste test video he’s like they’re so good can you buy me two boxes when you go next week so an update in the taste test video this is officially his number one item from last week so I grabbed him some more he loved them and then this week’s new item is hold the cone tips these are waffle cone tips.
Filled with dark chocolate so if you guys buy the hold the cone ice creams that’s usually what the bottom of the ice cream is it’s just filled with like chocolate which is honestly my least favorite I know that’s everyone’s favorite I’m the opposite like I love just the ice cream on the top I don’t really like the chocolate filed cone in.
The bottom but for all of you people out there which I know a lot of you do if that’s your favorite part they now have them now this I was surprised it’s not in the freezer section at all it was shelf stable so that’s where you’ll find this new item okay so here are the nutrition bags and the ingredients okay the last two items I grabbed this one is.
Our favorite the gluten-free buttermilk pancake and waffle mix we always personally make waffles with them but you can do either or and they’re great and then I substitute the egg too I just do a flax egg in it and they come out perfectly we make the whole box and then I’ll just freeze any leftovers for the kids so it’s easy for them to warm up at.
A later date and then the last item this one was so good another new item a couple of weeks ago and I loved these These are the caramel palmier puff pastry biscuit they’re really sweet and they’re so good they’re really crispy and crunchy I just love them either in the afternoon or with my coffee they were so good so I had to pick up another.
Box of them okay so that was everything that we picked up this week a little bit of a shorter haul but let’s combine it with the taste test video so let’s get into it okay everyone so we are on to the taste test portion of the video and Miss Lakin over here demanded to be in the video she got all ready she put on her.
Makeup and was like Mom I’m filming I want to be in it you want to say hi hi okay so let’s get into this okay so initially I asked you guys which two flavors you wanted us to try but then I realized I’m going to be doing the taste test and the haul all in one video so we’re just going to try them all there’s three of us here so they’ll get eaten so.
Let’s open them all up and then we’ll kind of just like taste them and we’ll let you guys know which one is our favorite we’ve got the Meer lemon cream raspberry cream blueberries and cream and vanilla and cream so those are the four flavors that we are working with okay so we’re just going to dig in oh wow so yeah this one is the it says.
Cream and it’s very thick consistency it’s like a Greek yogurt almost which I like I don’t like a runny yogurt so this one is the Lemon one M looks like lakin’s going to try the vanilla one how is it lakelin is it good this good let me try the vanilla one the lemon one’s really good I like.
How thick it is like that cream makes it really good I do like how thick it is yes and then I’m not even the biggest lemon fan and I like that one that one’s good great M the lemon one is good yeah go ahead you can try whichever one you want the lemon one’s good too it tastes almost.
Just like the lemon or no the vanilla one is good too it’s just vanilla the lemon one has that like lemon like punch to it yeah another one’s good though it is after trying the livon though I think I almost like the lemon a little bit better yeah they’re both really good I really like this cream yogurt how’s that one Lakin you like that one yes yes.
Which one’s your favorite that one’s your favorite oh okay let me try it raspberry is good too I’m going try blueberry I’ll try the raspberry Berry they’re all blending in together hasberry is good these are all really good I like all of them they’re so good um yeah try this one please this.
Oh thank you Leland do you like all the yogurt this yes we will definitely be repurchasing this I think they were only 69 cents each and they’re all good they’re 69 cents each yeah wow yeah so this is something that we will definitely be reing do you have a favorite flavor man they’re all really good they’re all really good I would buy.
All four flavors for a variety there’s not one that I do not like they’re all really good agree yeah so we can’t pick a favorite whatever you know flavor sounds good to you but honestly get them all and try them because they’re so good I love the texture of it I think that’s my favorite part how thick and creamy they are but Lakeland approves me and.
Bren approv this was a thumbs up for from us yeah really good yeah okay so next up we’ve got this brand new pizza this one is the spicy meat pizza it’s with calian recipe smoked sausage there’s meatballs and grilled red bell peppers on there so it looks really good it smells good Lakeland loves some pizza you want some pizza Lake yes yes let’s.
Dig in I want to make sure I get a fite of the meatball all right it’s definitely Smoky I like that yeah I can definitely taste the spice which you know me like I’m actually I’m shocked that it is I definitely would consider it spicy yeah it’s on the medium side you can.
Definitely taste the spice so if you’re very sensitive to spice I wouldn’t get this cuz I’m I’m actually surprised like how spicy it is it’s really good there’s a lot of sauce on it I think it’s really Saucy the meatballs were were good I didn’t wasn’t sure about if I was going to like the meatballs or not but I really like this pizza what do you think.
I mean you ate the whole thing I ate my whole pizza you guys just watched me yeah L do you like it we all approve this is another good one if you guys like a spicy Pizza I would definitely recommend this it’s perfect and I kind of like the crust oh yeah it’s still it’s different I’m was going to mention that there’s a lot of crust on this and.
It’s really thick too when I was baking it does it it tastes good too M mhm yeah so overall the whole recipe I don’t have anything to complain about yeah it’s really good mhm I like it all right so next up is the hold the cone tips waffle cone tips filled with dark chocolate yes do you remember these like the ice cream cones.
Yeah but it’s just the bottom of yeah do you like you like the bottom of the ice cream right yeah it wasn’t that was my least favorite part of the ice creams cuz it’s chocolate filed I like the ice cream but most people are like you and they like the bottoms so now they’re selling just the bottoms for sure oh it’s one of those Trader Joe bags can.
Never get them opened look at that cheers oh you want a cheers too Dad oh slobberry one thank you so what do you think of this it’s okay yeah I thought it taste better did you it’s kind of weak okay I knew go ahead.
Even the the waffle cone sucks really yeah that was the only thing that I liked about it was the waffle cone I think there’s me personally I knew I wasn’t going to like this going in because you guys know I’m not a lot of chocolate I think that’s a lot of chocolate so if you like chocolate like the whole thing is filled with the.
Chocolate which is why I personally don’t like it it’s just too much for me the crispy cone I actually liked I just thought it was too much chocolate that was my only knock on it but it is a lot of chocolate it there’s more chocolate than there is cone there is yeah which I thought would be a good thing for those of you that like chocolate like it’s.
Completely filled so they’re not like you know skimping you on the chocolate Lakeland likes it right was that your first did she grab another one is that her second one yes okay so she likes it they’re just very chocolatey so if you guys don’t mind chocolate I think I think you’ll like it if the people typically like the cones I think you.
Will but overall this is definitely our least favorite item we’ve tried today I just say three of them okay but uh they’re okay they’re just okay yeah nothing super special about it but it’s a chocolate comb that’s what you’re getting yeah we only had three items but I have to say it was a really good taste test all four.
Yogurts were hands down so good we will definitely be repurchasing those again I could see us repurchasing the pizza too those two items were standouts um so yeah and then the the Cones were just okay but overall a good taste test yeah it was really good and I’m glad Miss Lakeland here can join us yes thank you for joining us Lakeland you did a good.
