Indulge in Guilt-Free Fluffiness: The Ultimate Pancake Experience for Health Enthusiasts!
hey everyone CPO here and I’m doing a video for you on a pancake dish I know it’s weird these are my super thin very low carb sugar-free high protein glutenfree pancakes they’re sort of an analog to a pancake now I grew up uh loving pancakes uh still due to this day but I’ve also cut sugar and carbs uh out.
Of my diet predominantly I still do carbs and sugar but I try and cut it out as much as I can you know some people like the big fat fluffy pancakes I always like the super thin one so this one really resonates with me this recipe is only three ingredients and technically only two if you cut out the sugar substitute so you don’t have to.
Put that in there I use aulos and I also use a sugar-free syrup so um yeah let’s uh let’s talk about this I’ve stolen this recipe I found it from somewhere else and I’ve sort of modified it to fit my needs and I simplified it a bit so I turned it into a 111 recipe it’s one egg 1 oz of cream cheese one teaspoon of aulos and so that’s easy for me to.
Remember easy for me to make easy for me to repeat tastes great I’m doing uh a two egg serving which means I’m going to do 2 ounces of Philadelphia plain cream cheese uh I like to take a piece of Saran Wrap put it on my little scale and then just put cream cheese on until I hit 2 ounces and then that makes it a low mess and easy to dump into the bowl.
So I’m going to blend this with a Nutra bullet and so I’m putting it into the Neutra bullet container and then I’m going to add my two eggs into said container what I like about allulose and I’ll actually show you how this particular meal impacts my blood sugar but allulose doesn’t impact my blood sugar at all and in fact in it often.
Lowers my blood sugar which is what I really like about aulos so I use aulos all the time anytime I need a sugar substitute so one teaspoon of alose or your alternative per egg which puts us at two teaspoons for this particular meal then into the neutr bolet for a quick blend and uh you can thicken this up if you choose to again there are a.
Lot of different ways to make a similar style recipe you could add almond flour or coconut flour and make it more traditional pancake but the way this is It’s just basically egg and cream cheese and with this ratio is nice and thin and I like that I’m going to cook it on the Blackstone griddle so let’s go do that.
keep go and for syrup I’m using this RX sugar it’s the same company that I get my aulos from it is uh an aulos based syrup it tastes really good A little thin but tastes just like maple syrup and yeah.
Sugar-free so I’m going to scarf this down it is noon right now as a matter of fact the reason I’m having this as my lunch is because my blood sugar is kind of high today I woke up with high blood sugar and it’s been consistently High through the morning I thought about just fasting sometimes I can fast it down uh but I didn’t feel like fasting today I.
Don’t know I just wanted to eat something so I decided I was going to have this pancake recipe for lunch because I know it will not raise my blood sugar so now take a look at my continuous glucose monitor results from this uh for two hours after my meal no change in blood sugar and actually kind of went down a little bit so this is.
Something that I’ve noticed with aulos if I eat a aulos based product uh whether it be a deserty thing or or something like that uh my blood sugar tends to go down not up so anyway that’s why I chose this as my lunch so real quick let’s talk about the nutritional information on this so this serving right uh 2 O of cream cheese two eggs.
Two teaspoons of alos um what we end up with is about 300 calories 4.8 G of carbs 24 G of fat and 6 16 g of protein so this is basically a decently high fat high protein low carb meal and uh this is like very keto friendly and no added sugars at all and anyway guys that’s it I hope you found it interesting uh I’m often on the lookout for recipes like.
This that are really tasty and close to uh a similar recipe that would be normally like high carb high sugar that I would be used to and it’s you know it’s not exact the same but pretty darn close and not nearly as eggy as you might think uh it’s a very reminiscent flavor of a super thin pancake especially once you douse it in butter.
And syrup so anyway guys that’s it thanks for watching and I’ll catch you on the next one
