Michele and her special guest Winchester recently visited the newly opened Summer House on the Lake located in Disney Springs. Guys we’re here at summerhouse on the lake ready to go have dinner great food options I’ve been here once before we are so excited to share this wonderful wonderful restaurant with you this time I have a vegetarian a uh can eat anything and then myself which is no gluten Crustaceans or chickas and we’re going to try another meal I will admit.
I’m probably going to get that chicken sandwich again again cuz it was so good but we’re going to see what our other options are too can’t wait to share it with you let’s go inside um I’m going to show you some pictures of the menus here uh and I did them in sections just cuz it was easier that way so we’re half sitting inside outside so on the menu um.
Uh Randy is getting the cheeseburger uh now he is not glutenfree so he’s just going to get the regular cheeseburger but they can make it glutenfree so I may as well show that to you then Dory and I are splitting the Costa Mesa salad and the uh uh potato salad deviled eggs I used to never like them I just want to give them a try and Ted the Arian option.
That she’ll eat as well we’re good for that and then I am adding on the fish tacos uh because they can be made gluten-free and the tempora batter is glutenfree and I’m like I need to try gluten-free fried fish tacos cuz wow um we’re not having things come out in stages it’s all going to come out at once but we’re going to enjoy it oh and.
I got the Orlando spritzer and Randy got a beer which is not gluten-free again and uh Dory got some hot tea so we’re just going to wait for our food whenever thing starts getting here we’ll tell you all about right so it’s gotten a little chilly here so I’ve put my jacket on I’m so glad I brought a warm jacket um so this is the Florida the Orlando Spritz.
So it’s an afterall Spritz but they’ve changed out the orange for grapefruit um it’s still prco I’ll if I can grab the description I’ll put it in here and if not but it was grapefruit prco uh Bitters and uh I think lime but I’m not positive about that so we’re going to give it a.
Try not sweet at all not sweet at all you get bitters on the aftertaste at the end the freshness of the grapefruit but it’s not a sugary sweet grapefruit this is like clean this is very clean and just that aftertaste of the bitters very interesting would you like to try it okay it’s I’m enjoying it um and he got beer so you can’t see that cuz it’s.
Beer beer but when food gets here we’ll talk about that Dory is trying the Costa Mesa salad picture of which will go right here they very generously split it between both of us awesome what do you what is what can you tell me about the flavor anything Dory.
Okay I love the print um I don’t see any of the quinoa I see little dots of it I scattered about okay um but flavor wise what do you think not sweet not sour just really like fresh and good avocad nice all right so I’m going to start.
With the uh fish tacos cuz I don’t want them to get too cold they are in a tempora batter and they are gluten-free picture goes right here and we’re going to try that really tast like seora batter oh my God I’m excited this is really good um very.
Fresh it’s a little cool cook we’ve been sitting for a bit um TR but the better really tastes like a very traditional Japanese tempora better from what I remember when I would get traditional tempora it feels like they’ve kind of fried or crisp up the tortilla show they’ve got a guacamole spread and a SL in there they’re having a conversation.
So hopefully you can hear me but let’s give it a try oh the peo on top was spicy so oh on this one I put that P the guy the second is the green sauce also has it burned balica salsa be.
Day rather than the crunch of payo there was lime the avocado um guacamole very simple very basic very mellow quite lovely all right next I’m going to show one of the deviled eggs let’s see what we think you very salty you get chops of the um potato for sure like chunks of potato in.
There salty is it’s it’s a strong hit when you first get it but it’s not bad it does not be Art Smith for sure but it’s good um we mayaz flavor but I keep getting that salt hit at the end last but not least we’re going to try the salad you got CA and.
Veggies and green one mixed in and it’s a nice fresh salad and let’s friy it a little bit of a citrus um perfect yeah light vinegarette she right this is Bri fresh Happ and light sping ni the tortilla chips give it that little bit of crunch but not.
overwhelming nice all right well we’re going to eat um when the cheeseburger shows up hopefully he will get to tell you about it but we’ll be back so now you are looking at the bill um you’ll see they do offer the passholder discount now not on alcohol only on food so that was.
About $10 off um his Burger did show up very late it had a multiple stops along the way and he had asked for medium to medium well and it claimed a little more rare than that um but the flavor was good they gave him an extra thing of fries while he was waiting uh to compensate for it um he seems to have enjoyed it uh he seemed to have enjoyed.
His beer um the food was all good but they seem to be struggling today with other stuff going on please give this a thumbs up like share subscribe you know all the good stuff none of the bad stuff and don’t forget that I don’t have a tagline s life you drink with.
