hello and welcome to my channel my name is Amy and today we’re flying to San Diego I am so excited I uh I need a getaway so bad um so this could not come at a better time I’m flying out to see my friend from high school and college just for a.
Couple days so today’s video is going to be a little Vlog to San Diego um I know typically it’s different than my weight loss and um grocery hauls but I figure I would take you along and today for the airport get up I’m sporting this white tea and then I have my one fix that I have my linen I can’t show very well but my linen Gap pants on that I did my um.
Try on haul I saved them and I love them and I love that I’m not wearing um leggings to the airport so it’s like I feel like I can get out in San Diego and like head to brunch in these so I’m excited and then I’m wearing my I can’t show I’m terrible at this they’re they’re new New Balance 327s um but anyway in typical Amy.
Fashion I am late actually not late but I’m like right on time with zero minutes of spare so we got to go I’ll see you in San Diego belonging to others note that all bags are subject to search report any suspicious persons behind you all exits have evacuation slides to use in the unlikely event.
we like water a chopper the de in the background all right so as I am editing this I’m realizing like I took all these shots in the Vlog but I didn’t um hi sh I didn’t talk to you throughout the whole video um so I figured I would just.
Get on here and kind of explain a little bit um so day one first off I used miles to fly out to San Diego so that’s how I got the business class seat um but it was nice because I had a little base in my stomach with the breakfast that we had and it was a gluten-free breakfast and so it was consisted of fruit whatever um and I did have a couple.
Glasses of prco on the plane anyway so I landed in San Diego at like 10:30 in the morning which was nice because I had the whole day to do activities um and I we walked the majority of this day um I got like 15,000 steps which was amazing and we walked um and had brunch and drinks um and we walked from her neighborhood into.
Another neighborhood and I think I have a clip of walking across like the highway or whatever just highways are so big in California it’s just crazy um and then we were planning on just like spending the evening at her house like just relaxing talking um and then her friend called her and they have a boat club and so her friend was like do you.
And your friend want to go out on the boat and um we’re like yeah and so that’s what you’re going to see in the next clips and her friend took us out into the San Diego Harbor and essentially took us all around the harbor and gave us a tour um you’re going to see Coronado Island um in the tour so there’s a group.
Of houses in Coronado that face San Diego like the city um and there’s only like 10 of them but they’re the most beautiful amazing houses I’m in real estate so I’m like obsessed um with all of the architecture and everything like that in all of San Diego so that was really cool so I show you those um I show you the Coronado Hotel Dell’s Dell.
Something rather I don’t know um and then there’s like downtown San Diego we go under uh like a Navy ship um so there’s like an overhang on the Navy ship and like there’s planes on this Navy ship and like the boat goes under it so I have a clip of that which was really cool um it was just a really fun fun time um and it.
Was a beautiful weather except for when this sun goes down in San Diego holy moly it gets cold so by the end of the boat cruise we were really really cold um but anyway so that’s the end of day one so now I’m going to show you the boat clips.

Movie think maryn Manon all right so for day two we got up and we drove the 101 a little bit and we went into delmare um and we had brunch or lunch we were there for like 4 hours.
Um we met another friend of mine from childhood who happens to live out in San Diego um and we had just a really good lunch and brunch like it was an all day Affair and I didn’t take any videos of this but it was really pretty it was a called Monarch I believe um and it overlooked the ocean in delmare um I do have a.
Picture that I’ll show you of me and my one friend that we met up with um and then I have clips of driving the 101 and then to end that night we went to um Liberty Station I think is where it’s called and parts of Top Gun were actually filmed here cuz it’s old barracks and um and it’s now turned into like restaurants bars and shops and then.
I have a clip oh my God you guys so I’m gluten-free I’m celiac disease and um I had the most amazing gluten-free pizza in the whole entire world I like it was so good I have a clip of it um and if I could like ship it to here in in North Carolina like I would because um was phenomenal and I’ll try to put on the.
Screen the name of the restaurant I don’t remember it off the top of my head but I’ll put on the screen where we got it in case you are gluten-free or you do go out to San Diego and you go to Liberty Station and you see this place get the pizza oh my gosh it was so good um but then that night we um went back to my friend’s house and I didn’t get.
Any clips of this but like we then proceeded to drink a lot of wine so I was drinking all day long and we drank a lot of wine and just had girl time and it was so nice um but then the next day I wasn’t feeling so hot.
W get W yeah you did it oh Diego so good.
Glutenfree all right day three um we go to La Hoya and we go to the La Valencia Hotel and the plan was to spend some time at the pool but I guess in San Diego in April and May it’s like the worst times to go because there’s the Marine layer my friend kept saying the Marine layer the Marine layer the Marine layer um the Marine layer was like very.
Thick and so it was overcast the whole entire time um but it was beautiful it was still very nice to go to um we went and hung out by the pool in socks and full on clothes um and then had like a glass of prco and a burger by the pool which was really nice and then we went into the hot tub um but it was just kind of nice like a little.
Hungover day to relax kind of by the pool with the scenery and um that’s that’s really all I have I forgot to really like take anything from that day but that’s also really all we did and then we went back to her house and just like hung out and I think we watch sex in the city um and then I do have a tour of her little house I think.
It’s so adorable it’s so cute my friend has a little bit of OCD so it’s like just this perfect little Bungalow house it’s cute um so then that is at the end of the video so that was my trip to San Diego it was a quick trip it was really much needed for me um it was pre-planned prior to things going on in my life in my family’s life um that I kind of went.
Over in another video but it was much needed a quick little getaway that um I was actually I really enjoyed so anyway thank you for watching I hope you enjoy day three oh.
