Potato Perfection: A Gluten-Free Twist on Saint Patrick’s Day Colcannon
Uh first thing leftovers uh nobody’s going to eat these potatoes so I’m going to whip them up and add a little uh a little horseradish cream sauce to them and they’re going to be very tasty they’re very buttery they’re in the sauce so I’m going to go ahead and whip those up start with this right.
Here I’m just going to blend this up until this is whipped so this is all those potatoes that were in there and I’m going to blend these up until These are nice and creamy uh I might want to add some um some of the juice from my corn beef and cabbage or actually I think I’m going to add some um I got some half and.
Half so I got my uh horseradish sauce I’m going to add that in there all right there’s a bunch of that this is uh Beaver horseradish sauce oldfashioned Deli I got some uh some half and half pour some of that in there I want this to be nice and creamy whipped.
Potatoes these are those red potatoes that were in my uh You’ been find my corn beef and cabbage recipe on YouTube these were the red Irish FR potatoes that were cooked in a crock pot with the uh corn beef it’s getting nice and creamy now and these are these mashed potatoes will be so good you know just the way.
They are uh I can put some cabb in it make it easy cing put some bacon bits in it actually I think I might do that I’m going to turn this into a ccan so I’m going to put some cabbage in there this is a leftover cabbage blend that.
Up and I got some uh bacing bits where I put some of those in there add it all scoop up all these sides here oh this looking good I think a little more heavy cream I wanted a little I wanted a little uh more puree than it is.
Currently so let’s go ahead smells good it’s C Canan now I don’t know if you ever had Irish C Canon but that’s uh onions cabbage and bacon put into the potatoes into the wh mashed potatoes so it’s Irish ccan I’ll tell you this stuff right here you know all the time I make I make uh corn beef and cabbage in a crock pot.
Everybody loves the corn beef and that night they eat it but nobody wants the Cabbage left over nobody wants the onions left over nobody wants the potatoes left over this whipped C Canan oh you heat this up I can eat this every day all day long it’s so delicious uh so what a great way to use those leftover um potatoes and cabbage um that were in.
The crock poot uh we have our ccan and I made that the other night uh this is a beautiful culan and we got from our uh crockpot um corn beef and cabbage go ahead and stir this has uh it has the onions the cabbage and the potatoes and um half half cream and uh horseradish dressing all in.
Here and uh bacon and it was all Blended puree to make a nice puree so I’m going to add a little more uh bacon in here this is um real crumbled breaking not the fake stuff and because all that cabbage it was all cooked up and it was all limp anyways.
So I got some COA mix with real cabbage and carrots and I’m going to mix this in here to give it a nice crunch all right so all I got to do with this is uh just stir this all up and go ahead and put this in the microwave uh for about 5 minutes and this will be ready to roll let’s go ahead and plate this all.
Right so I’m going to start with my corn beef and cabbage called Canon and then I’ll uh put a little a little kale on the side
