Rise and Shine with One Degree Organic Foods Cacao Crisps: A Gluten-Free Sprouted Brown Rice Delight!

This review is of one degree organic foods um gluten-free sprouted brown rice cacao crisps U I am not fond of sweetened cereals they have way too much sugar in them generally um but this has got a lot of benefits well theoretically benefits so we’re going to try it out and see what happens it does use coconut sugar and.

Um yeah we’ll see glyphosate free USDA organic non GMO glutenfree um all ingredients from Farmers we know which doesn’t necessarily mean anything because you know those far Farmers could be great wonderful people they could be horrible people we just you know they could care about their crops and and about people.

Or not and um nothing artificial let’s see blue spirulina oh okay recipes okay gotcha yeah seven simple gluten-free ingredients sweetened with organic coconut sugar sprouted whole graen brown rice to enhance nutrition um clean organic ingredients so that mean clean is the.

New word for organic I guess I I just think it’s silly 100% transparency see the ingredients meet the farmers there we go that’s something that I haven’t seen very often in fact I can’t think of anybody that does that BL I guess those are the far uh the founders maybe I’m not sure.

And blurb and you can go to that code there I guess now nutrition wait is there anything else okay they didn’t make it themselves certified organic by qai 100% whole grain pars so it’s safe for Jews um vegan bioch check nonosa.

Okay 3/4 of a cup has got 1 and 12 gram of fat that are not from saturate that are not saturated or trans fats well we don’t actually know because this like most other companies did not list anything under half a gram no cholesterol 120 milligram of sodium 29 gam of carbs which point H sorry point my gosh two gram of which are dietary.

Fiber 10 G of added sugar 2 g of protein and these are the ingredients now one of the reasons for me not being excited about co uh Rice Krispies or rice crisps or whatever you want to call these is because rice is high in starch and starch is processed by our bodies rather rapidly into sugar if there’s no fiber in the product and.

There is a little bit of fiber in here so so 29 G of carbons minus 2 is 27 of which 10 is sugars so we’re talking about 10 of direct sugars from the coconuts and then we have another uh 17 of indirect sugars from the starches so you’re getting a big big blast of sugar from this product that’s not good I’m going to give this a.

Try silly me I just took my bowl with more of this with um fake milk out of the room I can kind of taste the uh coconut flavor which is um I guess you could say one of the risks of using coconut sugar so it’s not strictly a.

Um not strictly a flavor that you’re going to expect so there is the the cacao but there is also the coconut sugar and those mix together to produce a different kind of flavor I’m going to briefly taste what’s in my bowl I’ll be right back so I think they’re better wet than dry um however it really depends on how open you are to.

New flavors because for a lot of people especially if you’ve never had coconut sugar that hasn’t been refined to the point of being white sugar which means it’s no longer coconut sugar it’s just sourced from coconuts um then you aren’t familiar with coconut flavor and you if you keep it all in mind you may decide you like this.

Combination of coconut sugar and um brown sugar or sorry not brown sugar coconut chocolate sorry too early in the morning um you may you may like it but if you’re a closed-minded person you’re only want what you expect to get and you can’t adjust your mind you’re not a flexible person um.

Then you’re probably not going to enjoy this because it’s not got that that uh typical um chocolate crisp rice uh cereal flavor um I think I like it um I’m not going to be buying it again because again it’s got lots and lots of sugar not good for health none of the sugary cereals are good for your health you’re really damaging your child.

Child’s health by giving it to them um even the regular sugars they add uh sugar too and in some cases they add quite a bit more than they should be so if you look at Cheerios and whatnot again this is something that they’re getting you and your kids addicted to Sugar not good for health but I’m going to give this a seven.

Thanks for watching and I hope you have a great day
