Today we are making a rosemary sea salt cracker that is gluten-free and low carb hello everyone I am der welcome to my kitchen where I am bringing you healthier versions of the things that we love and if that is what you aim to do for you as well as your family then welcome you guys so today I am going to show you just how easy it is to put.

Together a cracker I’m telling you when you know the secret you guys you will never turn back to store bought crackers as so very simple to put together the base is flour and because we are keeping it low carb and gluten-free we are using almond flour and the other ingredients that we need to put this together is an egg to bind it some salt for flavor some.

Rosemary because once again this is a rosemary cracker and I’ve got fresh uh Rosemary actually it’s dried but it is from my garden we’re going to be using that today and the last thing we need is just a little bit of butter so you guys come in close and let’s make some crackers coming up next all right everyone so in my mixing bowl I already.

Have my almond flour which I did sift because I’m making a dough out of it so I don’t want to have any clumps of the almond flour in it so this is already prepared I’m going to go ahead and add a pinch of salt to it once again because this enhances the flavor and then because this is in fact a rosemary flavored.

Cracker we are going to add some Rosemary now of course you can add whatever seasonings that you want to your flour whatever your preference is whatever your liking is because this is your recipe you make your own kind of special so I’m going to take this fresh Rosemary which again once again has been dried so in order to release all that.

Flavor I just need to rub it together in my hands which is one of the wonderful things about having fresh dried herbs when you do that that it just releases all of that fragrance and it’s oh so wonderful okay that looks good all right and of course you guys I’ve got a um a mortise imp pestl over there at the.

Corner of this counter but let me tell you there’s nothing like taking these herbs and running them or wubbing them through your hands release this fragrance and and then smell your hands I mean that just something that is just so magical but anyway this is done let’s go ahead and put these into our mix let’s go ahead and give this a quick.

Mix so we can incorporate these ingredients before we add in the wet okay that looks good now for our melted butter go ahead and add that in and then the last thing that we’re going to add is a lightly beaten egg and that is going to bind all these ingredients together and help us form this.

Dough and you’ve seen me do time and time again at always crack my egg in a separate container just to make sure that this egg is good before I add it to my recipe okay in this goes and.

Combine and once again this is going to form our dough okay everybody I have combined all of these ingredients and it looks to be just a little bit too wet for me so I’m going to add a little bit more of this almond flour in it until I get more of a dough consistency all right guys this is what.

We’re looking for this is definitely a dough consistency at this point just pinch a piece off and it is holding together and it’s not sticking to my fingers okay so at this point what I’m going to do is I’m going to clear all of this off and then when I come back I’m going to show you how we roll This dough out and then form.

Our crackers all right what we need to do is to take some parsal paper and we are going to just in case you didn’t hear that because of the ripping of this paper but we are going to sandwich this dough in between two pieces of parment paper and then we are going to roll it out until.

It’s nice and thin is that a pretty dough that looks so good and you have those Flex of that Rosemary in there oh my gosh these are going to be phenomenal and proceed to roll okay and I’m just feeling it just to.

Make sure that there’s no high spots in this and it doesn’t feel as though there are so at this point let’s go ahead and gently that that looks good that looks really good let’s go ahead and gently lift this top layer of parchment paper off all right perfect and at this point you guys we are just going.

To as best as we possibly can cut this into a square or rectangle so that we are putting together our grid for these crackers cuz these crackers are going to be square in shape and then whatever excess I have I’m going to roll that back.

Up roll it out and then we will continue to repeat this process and until all of this dough is gone okay so that looks good I just need to get something to lift this up and then we will proceed to cut these into squares okay I am back go ahead and lift this up just like.

That and we have a straight edge I’m going to continue with the other size and then we’ll be ready to cut our crackers so I’ve got a store bought cracker Rosemary seesaw absolutely delicious are they but they’re storable up but I just want to use this as a template so that I can have my crackers.

Be approximately the same size so I’ll start at one Edge eye it and bring it up to the next Edge yes I’m doing the extra I know you can call me out and I’m going to proceed just like this until I get all of the vertical strips and then I’m going to turn it in the opposite direction to get my.

Horizontal strips okay and we are at the end and here I got my silm line hand here and I am going to gently release these crackers from this parchment paper and then lay them down on this s that just like that and one thing you know what guys before I actually do that.

There’s one thing that I noticed forgot to do this I forgot to put little markings the little holes I need to get a fork and do that and then once I finish with that then they will be ready to go to my baking sheet so guys I was actually able to find a two prong Ork yes I’m telling you I am doing all the extra here I am and I’m doing this.

Because I love you guys so much for joining me here so I’m not going to scrimp or cut any corners and this is what this looks like hopefully this comes through with the little hole see that nice okay and I’m going to proceed on and do the rest of these crackers and then I will transfer them from the parchment onto the seill.

Mat and then off to the oven these will go 400° preh preheated oven for about 5 to 10 minutes okay off to the oven these go and while these are baking I will proceed to form the rest of my crackers okay so this is the remainder of the square crackers and I took the last little piece of dough and what I’m going to do is just to show you that you.

Don’t have to do a square cracker you could do a round cracker as well I just took a little glass and I am going to make some some round crackers just like that you guys okay all right then so the next time you see me I will be bringing the finished crackers out the.

Oven and here we have it hot out of the oven let’s goad and sit these down let them cool and you guys I may sprinkle just a little bit more salt on them just for additional flavor and then when I come back we are going to give this taste all right everyone just a matter of minutes and a few simple clean ingredients and.

We have ourselves a delicious platter of Rosemary sea salt crackers Lord I Thank you absolutely delicious super clean Super Fresh super simple and there are so many people these days that are following a low carb gluten-free diet and the market has changed as well to accommodate that but there’s one thing that I will tell you.
