Crunchy Carb-Free Grissini – A Twist on Traditional Breadsticks! Indulge in a Variety of Flavors, Sugar and Gluten Free!

Homemade low-carb breadsticks made with the same dough but in different flavors are easy to take with you or eat for breakfast. Gluten free and no added sugar. I used 2 types of hard cheese. In total you need 190 g. Grate on a fine grater. 60g butter. Melt slightly in the microwave or in a water bath. 25g coconut flour. 50 g almond flour. Teaspoon of baking soda. Add 1 egg to the cooled dough. Of course, my baked goods differ from the real classic breadsticks made from white flour. However, the sticks are very tasty!.

I cook it in 4 variations – with nuts, coconut blossom sugar, peanut paste and chocolate. They can also be made with garlic, sesame seeds, a mix of peppers and herbs, fennel or poppy seeds, and more. Press the nuts into the dough so they don’t crumble when you turn them. Since this recipe is mega-calorie-rich, I also have a low-calorie recipe for crispy sticks in stock. Brush with egg wash for a golden brown color. Place in the oven preheated to 180°C for 20 minutes. Crispy golden crust, rich cheese taste and aroma. These original rolls are baked without flour and yeast. Made with tapioca, a starchy flour from the cassava root, but you can easily replace it with cornstarch.

125 ml milk. 70g vegetable oil. Salt to taste. Bring to a boil. 125 g tapioca starch. Stir quickly, turn off heat. While the mass cools, we grate 120 g of hard cheese. If the cheese is already quite salty, it is better to limit the addition of salt. Add 1 egg. Knead the dough for a few minutes – so that it shapes but does not become too soft and sticky. Sprinkle baking paper with flour.

Divide the dough into 8-9 pieces. We send the buns to a preheated oven at a temperature of 180 degrees for about 25-30 minutes, until golden brown. They are perfect when warm. And they taste great chilled too!
