I followed a recipe that calls for ground lavender in place of almond extract and a lavender tea-infused icing, adding an extra layer of floral notes to the cookies. The result is a batch of cookies that are not only visually appealing but also a joy to eat. Whether you’re a fan of vegan desserts or simply looking to try something new, these Lavender Sugar Cookies are a must-try for any baking enthusiast.

Delicate treats for the soul: Indulge in guilt-free lavender bliss!

welcome back to my kitchen these lavender sugar cookies are Heavenly I’m so excited to share this recipe with you one of my favorite things is to go out in the garden and collect fresh herbs that I can use right in the kitchen while I’m waiting for my.

Lavender to bloom I bought some lavender flowers and I’ve been craving these lavender sugar cookies first I made a tea that we use to flavor the icing then I ground up some lavender to add to the baking flour giving it just a hint of that floral earthy calming scent and taste this recipe is gluten-free dairyfree and vegan which makes it even.

More wonderful these cookies are a gift straight from the earth I hope you get a chance to enjoy them too there’s a link to the recipe I followed in the description as well as at the end of the video I just made some subtle changes to add add the lavender okay our F recipe I have two cups of glutenfree.

Flour one cup of sugar they sound like a lot of sugar but Lavender is pretty bitter and you’re going to be happy that you had some there I have a teaspoon of baking powder half teaspoon of baking soda half teaspoon of salt and I have a tablespoon of ground lavender and whisk that all.

Together next I have half half a cup of grape seed oil two teaspoons of vanilla this is my homemade vanilla smells wonderful whisk that till crumbly now 2 to three tpoon of uh.

Nondairy milk I’m using almond milk I’m not going to use it all because I’m going to adjust how much I need turn this dough into a ball that was three tablespoons.

And I was able to form all of that into a ball okay let’s see if we have some success rolling this out I’m going to cut it into more manageable sizes this is a little less than half.

this dough is a little different because there’s no butter so it seems to have a little different I’m using the round just to be safe what I really wanted to.

Use there a mix some of these snowflake shapes so I’m going to pop these in a 350° oven for 8 to 10 minutes and in the meantime I’ll roll out the other half of the dough.

first batch done second batch going in so I have the last batch of cookies in the oven and the ones that are done I’m letting them cool so we’ll go ahead and make the glaze this is a cup of infection of.

Sugar and to thin it I’m just going to use the lavender tea that I made earlier be careful adding liquid to confectioner sugar it takes a lot less than you think that’s about 2 tablespoons that should just about do it this little cake.

Decorator and lastly I’m going to top these with some lavender flowers I bought these at the Asian store uh they’re not organic but they are more purple so I thought they would be prettier.

You don’t need much the time has come soft cookie the cookies are soft and chewy and sweet and taste deliciously flowery lavender success.
