hey everyone hello aloha Brandon where are we at and what are we doing today all right so we are at Disney’s Polynesian Resort and Spa right is there an an spaan Village Resort I don’t know where we’re at everyone but we are here to eat for the first time in a long time Sarah’s been here a little more recently.
Than I have at Ohana yes well we did we did a couple of years ago come here to Ohana for breakfast so do check that vlog out Brandon really enjo the experience I think it was two years ago okay we really enjoyed the experience and the characters but Brandon hasn’t been here for dinner in like seven years because you didn’t enjoy it I did not.
Enjoy it last time again that was about seven years ago um but you have been back for dinner since I it just wasn’t my favorite but breakfast was good yeah breakfast was good I have always loved dinner at Ohana I love how gluten-free dairyfree friendly it is and the food is always great and it is a longstanding family favorite for my family it’s the.
Day I’ve known Sarah trust me everyone loves Ohana and my family it’s one of our favorites so I’m very excited to be back after a very long time absolutely and remember everyone what does Ohana mean Ohana means family family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten yeah yeah and that’s from the great film Lilo and Stitch and everyone.
Tell Brandon how amazing his Stitch impersonation is stitch in the next film but no seriously we are excited back after 70 years from me again you’ve come here a little more recently within the last couple years yeah I uh like I said no negativity in this I didn’t like it last time but that’s a whole other story we’re gonna.
We’re g to shove that over here we’re going to shove that right over there Open Hearts open mind Open Hearts open minds are you ready for Ohana yeah let’s go family the only better family than Ohana is Vin Diesel’s Fast and Furious family let’s go we ride together we die together let’s go.
Ho all right so we are here at Ohio we have an awesome view so excited about that nice view a little.
Bit of a tiny table I hope we’re going to make it work with all the food we made but um we just talked to Chef Angel Chef Angel yes that was his name so helpful we talked through tons of options um if you’re gluten-free and dairy free this menu is super simple straightforward and easy um Brandon’s was a little more complex but Chef Angel.
Is doing a great job of navigating stuff um he’s actually working with some of the kitchen over at conab just because some of the things aren’t going to be a safe option for Brandon because I’m a mess everyone well no just because of the Cabbage we’re making it work we’re very excited Brand’s getting go soon I am and the view is great okay so our.
Appetizers came well first I feel like habit we’re getting like first second these so we got our salad and bread service first so I got a salad that is standard on the menu it does have kale that’s why Brandon is pretty much the same but just minus the mixed greens and the kale so it’s got some vegetables it’s got a citrus vinegarette it looks.
Really good looks PR freshy does I really like the dressing it’s got a good Citrus flavor there’s some herbs in it too it’s almost got kind of like citrus chimmy churry kind of Vibes which I like very refreshing cool I like all the vegetables that are in here and then of.
Course we did get the allergy friendly yeah yeah hold on let me get a shot of that here the Bloomfield Farms um they did give me regular butter but you can get Earth Balance as well um these are just your standard roll so I won’t do a live I won’t do a live review of those but the salad is very good I can’t wait to hear what random things something.
Salad all right so uh I got the normal bread we’ll get to that in a minute but this is the salad Sarah why is my salad different because of the kale oh because of kale brand can’t have kale so he got a nice um one made with Iceberg but the same vegetables that I have in mine so it’s peppers onions tomatoes oh dressing’s good.
Right what is this dressing it’s like a citrus it’s like a citrus vinegret it’s really good it’s really good really good um it’s not earth shattering salad or anything but extremely refreshing and I really really like the uh the dressing good um and my uh.
Bread I got everyone I got normal bread um gluten fill so what is this special bread it’s a pineapple coconut bread Pine and Brandon can’t have coconut you like it there a little Flav to it good I do yes okay is this I can’t describe it it’s really good I like it good start to the.
Meal good start to the meal entree well my entree C this is incredible look at this look at this I have a bite ready Brandon’s favorite thing carrots steak and noodles oh my goodness so let’s have a bite of the steak so Chef Angel oh oh oh oh no okay okay Chef Angel made you special steak there it is hashtag hashtag there.
It is so the steak is wow steak is delicious let’s try some noodles wow and this was made special for me I’m a special little boy because they couldn’t Grill it on the grill because of cross contamination with chicken andm and are these noodles special for me uh no I think they the regular noodles just gluten oh oh boy to a proper slurp there.
Brand there it is this is delicious and they even said if I want more just ask for more I probably won’t absolutely delicious let’s see what Sarah’s thinks mine is carrot carrot try carrot real quick everyone I’m going try carrot cuz you got special stuff oh good there it is for carrots oh my gosh okay.
Well I guess there’s a Pepper or something is that yeah it looks like it’s covered in Pepper Yep this is amazing if you suffer from my debilitating food allergies like I do yeah um come here and get this this is incredible so I have my kind of second starter which is SE rice stirfry.
Vegetables and I think they’re still the honey coriander sticky wings which are one of my favorite things from Ohana they are Perfection so I have a piece ready I’m excited to dig in and let’s just do it use just as good as you remember and everything I know I know you love it so.
Good I’m using a knife and fork so I don’t get too sticky hands and we oh he did bring his towels and we do have wipes in the but he brought more towels M we need to use them before they’re not warm trying to make sure that we do not chicken Brandon at any point um this is very good I will try the vegetables real quick okay yeah I want to dig back into.
Mine I yours is just as good yeah amazing and of course there’s cabbage there’s broccoli all the things we can’t have in here I can have it oh my the vegetables are not the fanciest thing but they’re tasty they’re well cooked and it’s a nice little accompaniment along with the wings but really you just want to get the wings.
Let’s get one more look at that these are a must must get so good even more has come for Sarah means lots of food oh means is going to explode oh boy it’s going to explode all over the camera yeah Brandon is already saying he’s very full I am really full I’m going to pan down of mine I’m I’m trying he got a mighty plate so I have.
The grilled steak with the gluten-free teriyaki sauce so another gluten-free TEF free dish I forgot these are peeling each shrimp but these are also gluten-free and te they have little EGS they go help me help me wait did you just have a bite uh oh what did you just eat Sarah a shake and it’s got good flavor it’s a little on.
The tough side but I love the teriyaki on it super good and there that poor little shrimp never did anything to us never did nothing it’s not the best shrimp I’ve had but pretty good okay solid so far the chicken wings and the chicken are my favorite then the steak then the shrimp but overall I can’t complain this is a.
Really awesome meal Brandon you don’t have your mics on but how are you doing yeah he’s eating his dessert you doing okay no I am not doing okay we apologize our microphone thing is not plugged in um hopefully you can hear me Brand’s full I am so full this dessert is good um Sarah’s coming out.

Dessert is here and I have to admit I’m both like dubious and excited at the same time because we’ve never been able to get glutenfree versions of the bread pudding here the pineapple bread pudding which is super famous at Ohana but super famous yeah but we now have thanks to the chefs here a glutenfree dairy free allergy friendly version so I have some.
Tof foodi on top and I’m excited to check it out it tastes like they made the bread pudding out of the allergy rolls okay but I love the fresh pineapple on it I love that there’s the tooti it’s very sweet but very tasty and I am super excited they made this option so we’ll talk more in the debrief.
But uh from your point of view so far maybe not a there it is not not every item is a there it is but a there it is meal overall I feel like it’s or should we talk more about that later yeah I feel it’s not quite a there it is but it’s definitely I high recommend especially if you’re glutenfree and dairy free I think there are lots of.
Great options here and you’re going to have a ton of stuff that doesn’t need a lot of modifications which is amazing so so far I would say this is good the meal was great and yeah we’ll talk about it more in the #b hash debrief which you guys are about to see in probably right now my Mickey oh my Stitch oh my.
Stitch family um and we don’t have our wind cffs on right now oh yeah we’re sorry it’s very windy and I think it’s about to rain so we’re going to keep this Punchy keep this quick Brandon what did you think of ohana did it have Redemption for dinner yes it has been redeemed from seven years ago um my dinner was absolutely delicious almost.
Everything was a there it is um not the best there it is of all time but it is really windy hopefully you can hear us um I I loved it I would absolutely come back here until Sarah told me the price then I would come back here but maybe not as often but absolutely delicious yeah and I will agree with Brandon like most places at Disney especially all you.
Care to enjoy buffets car your meals those are quite pricey so know that going in um but you will be well fed so I guess that’s also a good consideration so know you and your family and what you kind of like in your style I think if you’re gluten-free and dairy free this is a really excellent choice very much so it’s hard for me to say it’s a there.
It is because I have such a history with Ohana so it’s hard for me also not to compare it to Old School Ohana because I have so many memberberries well you and the our server the cast member Eric was his name I think we’re talking about what it used to be and everything Eric was awesome by the way shout out to Eric shout out to Eric shout out to R who is.
Also yeah of course with Angel yeah an Chef angel so I feel like we can’t talk we’re so full yep but yeah you have a huge history with it like you just said I do I went there I think for the first time like 21 years ago I was trying to math that out so it has been a long time I leave a comment if you’re watching this and you.
Weren’t even born when Sarah started going there oh manbe so you started going like five years ago five clearly yes Forever 21 um so yeah I think it’s super solid again if you’re gluten-free dairy free if you like kind of that Polynesian Asian inspired meal you’re not going to go wrong all the flavors are great there’s so many options and.
For me it was very solid I enjoyed it I didn’t dislike anything from my meal and I would recommend it yeah I would too very very good anything else great location too I don’t think so I think we both would recommend it um for me again if you’re gluten-free and dairy free I think it’s a high recommend and overall I love the Ohana Vibes absolutely so.
