Launching a Gluten-Free Culinary Experience!

Charlie’s Cafe in Barnstaple, North Devon hosted a 100% gluten free, coeliac-friendly pop up evening, featuring dishes from the book Delicious Gluten Free Meals. The menu included Deep Dish Chicago Style Pizza, Lasagne, Mac and Cheese, Quinoa, Halloumi and Chickpea Salad, Toad in the Hole, Chickpea and Feta Fritters, Glazed Ginger Beer Ham, Sticky Toffee Pudding, and Fried Gluten Free Donuts. This event was a success and left attendees wanting more.

Charlie’s is a 100% gluten free cafe, offering a safe and delicious dining experience for those with gluten sensitivities. The collaboration between the cafe and the book’s author provided an opportunity for people to enjoy a variety of gluten free dishes in a welcoming environment. The event showcased the versatility and tastiness of gluten free cooking.

Gluten-Free Paradise: My Debut Pop-Up Event!

Hi everybody welcome back to my channnel today I thought I would take you along because it is a very exciting day I am doing my first ever popup at Charlie’s which is kind of behind me you can’t really see it um at Charlie’s inv banable we have been talking about doing one for ages we wanted to do like a celebration of gleet andfree food get.

Lots of Foodies together cook some awesome recipes from my book um and yeah I’m really excited but I’m also running really late and it is chucking it down outside so so I’m going to put this up and let’s go and see how we’re getting on and get set up there we is let’s go see how mik’s getting on.

Setting up hello h there toad in a hole and then is this the sticky tofy pudding isn’t it yeah lasas oh my God the lasagna and then the FRS Mac cheese oh that smells good Red Onion.

Chin need go with that’s the dairy free and then got two pepperoni ones oh that it looks good these are Charlie’s famous Donuts before they are cooked oh my god look I could literally just face bur that I think nice that’s the ham so that with.

The mac and cheese oh right this is to prove that I’m making the dough balls let me get you a spoon Chef oh yes thanks chef go this is my assistant this is now my kitchen lovely set of Chef whites you’re wearing there darling oh thank you yeah.

I got them from Chef us this is Mike proving Mike does some work in here frying his donuts oh my God I wish this had like smell Vision yeah look at those.

cool and that is dairy free as well and if you’re vegetarian there is vegetarian pizza okay pepperoni pizza replenish as we go along okay anybody want any of the on.

Yet look how happy he is that’s going to be a more on YouTube forever now oh is that not the sexiest thing you’ve ever seen so it’s the day after the popup I’m not going to lie I am so tired that was such an amazing event like it was so cool to get loads of Foodies together.

And just see like quite a lot of people came on their own and just seeing everyone like chatting to each other and just talking to other celiacs was so fun and I really love that like everyone could eat everything so like Mike at Charlie did like the best job ever on the food I’m so grateful to him for what he did and he actually like adapted most.

Of the recipes with dairyfree as well cuz we had a couple people who were dairyfree and we just thought why not make it so that everyone can eat everything it was just really really nice to see everyone eating together and enjoying food and I think when you’re ciac like you can never have buffets and you always have to ask about what’s.

Clean and free and you know be careful about serving spoons and plates and cross contamination so just seeing everyone like being able to just tuck into everything and how exciting that was for everyone was so cool so we had a really amazing time I’d love to do more of these I know that I’ve been talking to Charlie about doing another one.

Already so hopefully we’ll be doing more local ones and a few people have asked me about doing other ones around the country this just kind of just came out of me and M Charlie’s just chatting and we got on really well and it was just like a really cool collaboration but if there are any gluten-free places that you want me to visit or you think would.
