Deliciously Wholesome Bites: Crafting Guilt-Free Treats at Home!
hi everyone welcome to today’s video where I’m going to be making some snacks for my children they’re heading back to school next week and I wanted to get ahead of myself a little bit and have some snacks on hand for their lunch boxes and for when they get home from school so I’m going to be making making.
Chocolate chip cookies double chocolate muffins and granola bars and all of the recipes today will be gluten and dairy free for these glutenfree chocolate chip cookies I’ve used dairyfree butter that I’ve softened slightly um I’ve added the sugar so castor sugar and brown sugar one large egg.
I’m using oat flour here I’m going to put some cium husk powder in there baking powder a bit of salt and I’ll add some chocolate chips later I’ll put the recipe for this in the description box below I’m kind of following it a bit Loosely because I don’t have the exact ingredients that she suggests and I like to put everything in all in one go and.
Just whiz it in my stun mixer when the cookie ingredients are well mixed I add the chocolate chips and just let it mix for a few more seconds and then it goes into the fridge for a little while just to firm up these double chocolate muffins are a favorite of my boys and again I’ll put.
The recipe in the description box below again I’m making a few changes to the ingredients just so that I can use what I have to hand so I’m using oat flour I’m using castor sugar celium husk powder baking powder salt and then the cocoa powder vanilla extract two large eggs dairyfree butter and soy milk.
Theoretically I should have mixed up the dry ingredients together before adding the wet ingredients but I kind of forgot but it didn’t matter it was really really easy to mix up at the end because there’s so much liquid in there and that’s another reason why I like this recipe in particular cuz it’s so easy to mix in goes the dairyfree butter and I.
Think I forgot to say earlier on that you need to melt it before you add it look at that butter doesn’t that look amazing so decadent so chocolaty I’m going to add the chocolate chips in a second for an extra kick of chocolate.
I like to use these reusable silicone muffin liners because you just put them in the dishwasher and you can use them over and over again I find the easiest way of putting the batter in the muffin liners is with a cookie scoop and I make sure that the liners are only filled to about 3/4 2/3.
To 3/4 that way there’s some space for it to rise and it doesn’t overflow they go in the oven at 180° C for about 20 minutes you can check them with a knife or with a skewer at the end to see if they’re cooked all the way through now we’re on to a new recipe on the blog glutenfree granola bars with.
Peanut butter chocolate chips and almonds I love this recipe because it’s so much healthier than shop bought cereal bars and there’s a lot of protein in there with the eggs with the oats the nuts and the peanut butter first step is to melt together the peanut butter the coconut oil and the honey and then we’re going to add.
All of the dry ingredients just straight into the saucepan afterwards it’s really very easy to do you just need to stir it all up until the oats and the dry ingredients are all really well coated by the peanut butter mixture and the eggs are well Incorporated so I’ve chopped up almonds and peacon.
Nuts here you could also put them in a plastic bag and Bash them with a rolling pin that works well too whichever method you prefer and don’t forget the pinch of salt which makes all the difference in this recipe I’ve lined a square baking tin it’s a.
Really good idea to line it just so that it’s easier to take out of the tin when it’s finished cooking so it’s probably about 20 cm square when you’ve put all of the mixture in the baking tin press it down with the back of a wooden spoon until it’s really compact this is really important to have a good granola bar.
That’s not going to crumble everywhere I prefer to put the chocolate chips on the top of the granola bars just so that you get nice chunks of chocolate rather than having it melted into the whole of the mixture so sprinkle a few on the top as many as you like and then press them into the mixture with the back of a.
Wooden spoon and that’s going to bake in the oven at 180° C for about 20 minutes and when it comes out it’s nice and golden brown it needs to cool in the tin and when it’s completely cool you can cut it up you can really do the size of bars that suit your family the best I.
Cut this into 15 bars the cookie dough has been in the fridge for an hour or so and now it’s time to bake it so I use a cookie scoop the mediumsized one and I’ve put about six bowls of cookie dough on a baking tray I put a couple three chocolate chips on the top just for an extra little bit of.
Chocolate and it’ll bake in the oven at 180° for about 13 minutes so there you have it gluten-free chocolate chip cookies gluten-free double chocolate muffins and glutenfree granola bars we’re all set for back to school I hope I gave you some ideas for some snacks thanks for watching and see.
You next time bye
