Discover the Transformative Benefits of a Gluten-Free Lifestyle

Going gluten-free can have a profound impact on an individual’s lifestyle, as highlighted by many personal experiences. One of the most significant changes reported by those who adopt a gluten-free diet is an improvement in willpower and discipline. By eliminating gluten from their diets, many individuals find themselves making more conscious choices about what they eat, leading to a greater sense of control over their eating habits. This newfound discipline can extend beyond food, fostering a more determined approach to various aspects of life.

Furthermore, the transition to a gluten-free lifestyle often encourages individuals to explore healthier snack options. For instance, products like KIND Breakfast Protein Bars, which are gluten-free and packed with protein, offer a convenient way to maintain energy levels and support overall health. Such snacks not only contribute to better gut health but also align with the goals of those seeking to lead a healthier, more balanced life while adhering to dietary restrictions.

Discovering Freedom: How Ditching Gluten Unlocked a Healthier, Happier Me!

Hello everybody and welcome to today’s video this video is about going gluten-free and how it’s kind of changed my life so I have been glutenfree for around like two months at this point oh no I’ve been gluten-free for like almost 6 weeks which is really exciting um so this video is like I’m actively going through it so I feel like everything’s.

Very much like still what I’ve gone through is very much still at the Forefront of my brain I’m like I’m still going through it every day but basically I decided to go gluten-free cuz I was having a lot of stomach issues and I wasn’t feeling my best constantly and I recently came to college so I was in a dorm now and when you’re in such a small.

Space I feel like you pick up on things a lot easier like I realized now like I was definitely having these issues during high school but I just never I just dismissed them because it wasn’t really I didn’t think about it too much and I was at home and like I don’t know I just didn’t think about it but once you’re at college you’re in such a.

Confined space and like you’re using dur and bathrooms and so everything just becomes you just know you I don’t know if anyone else has had that experience but I just feel like I pick up on a lot more things related to health and I was also once I got here like At first I was eating fine and then like I had some ice cream and then the desserts looked good.

And I just also felt like I was eating crap and like a lot of that crap is not gluten-free obviously because flour is not gluten-free like all none of the desserts here are gluten-free except for soft serve ice cream um which is amazing but anyways so I just felt like I was eating crap and I just wasn’t feeling good too from because of what I was.

Eating but also because I felt like it was either something with milk or something with gluten and I have since going gluten-free I also really don’t I don’t like milk and so I really don’t have that much milk anyway so I didn’t really think it was milk um but I have a friend who a Celiac and she was like Grace I really think you should just try.

Going gluten-free for like a month and see how you feel and she was like you might you could be Celiac like and if you are once you go back on like on gluten you’re going to feel horrible and I was like okay I can do a month like I can do this if it’s GNA help me feel better like I’ll do it I need to have that mindset and so when I was giving up.

Gluten I didn’t realize like I wouldn’t be able to have all the desserts and all the things I knew I like couldn’t have pasta and stuff but I didn’t think that hard about it when I started the going gluten-free and I think that helped me a lot not thinking about what I was missing out on that I think not thinking about it has helped me stay with it.

Which has been nice because it’s made it easier um but anyways I took my friend’s word for it because I trusted her and since I knew she had Celiac It Like meant something when she said Grace maybe you should try going gluten-free and then um one of my oh then I went to one of my friends storms and she’s actually studying.

Nutrition so I was like oh maybe she like could offer some advice and it was actually and she was great to talk to but it was actually her roommate that was like my mom actually has Celiac and I would recommend going off of it for 2 months and you’ll notice probably more differences and so I was like okay like if I’m going to I think at this point I.

Was 2 weeks into being gluten-free so I was like okay if I am 2 weeks in I can do two months like I can do it once you like kind of get somewhere it’s like you can do whatever and so now I’m like I’m 6 weeks in it’s not habit yet like there are days where it’s really really hard and everything just looks so tempting and.

You don’t want to be doing it anymore but like the health benefits of doing it are like I’ve noticed are crazy I no longer have really any stomach issues like at all so what I’ve come to the consensus of is I don’t think I’m Celiac um at all but I do think I have an intolerance to gluten but I think it’s my wild but it’s better for me to be off.

Of it than on it um some people say going gluten-free are like I’m also since have been focusing on gut health but that will be another video and that’s still very much like I’m working on so I’ll do that at a later date um but I’ve since focused on gut health and a lot of people say like I have no acne anymore I actually do.

Have acne and I don’t know what it’s come from but there are like multiple things like I’m also in a dorm the water in the dorm is not great like there are multiple things that that could be a cause of but um most people do have benefits of acne and like my acne when I first went gluten-free like the first month five weeks I didn’t have any but I.

Also don’t have acne like bad acne in general so I just wanted to talk about that real quick um but yeah so I um have noticed a lot a ton of great changes and it really has been like an eye opening experi experience of like oh my gosh like you can change your health like you can change how you feel and like what’s also been interesting is since going.

Gluten-free it’s been so much easier to do other things so like this morning or yesterday I was sitting in class and I decided I was going to run a 5k or I was sitting in the live I I think I was sitting in the library actually and or no I was eating food and I was like I’m going to run a five okay I’m going to do this and I texted my roommate and I.

Wanted I want to do it with my dad my dad’s a big Runner I’m not a runner at all when I was young I used to be good at it um like I do like the running challenges at school and I do really well but um I okay also ignore how bad this makeup looks just just move past that please um but I’m not a runner by any means and like I am at like a.

10-minute mile outside though my mile time is 12 minutes but my watch I’m using the Nike run app which I recommend it’s really nice um but it’s saying I’m going 1 mile and my watch is saying I’m going like 1.1 miles which on the Treno my mile time is like 10 minutes so I’m like a little confused but it’s okay cuz it’s also outside but if I’m going 1.1.

And I’m doing 12 minutes that makes me feel a lot better that makes me feel a lot better um but anyways so I decided I’m doing that like my willpower and my discipline has just been through the roof like it has never been this good in my life and part of me is scared like at some point I’m going to burn out because I am like.

I’m I went gluten-free I’m focusing on gut health and I’m now training to run a 5k which sounds stupid like who trains to run a 5k but like when you have no experience in like years you got a train like you got it TR so I ran a mile this I ran two miles yesterday and I ran a mile.

This morning like I just have amazed myself with my willpower since going gluten-free like no one talks about the like we all talk about the health benefits and like how it’s been but no one talks about the like aftermath like I just feel like I never expected my willpower to increase so drastically but it has like it’s been crazy and then.

Also moving on like from willpower I mean that has been the most insane honestly and crazy thing about it but moving on from that like Temptations and stuff like that it definitely is hard but telling myself like I am capable like those words for some reason have just stuck with me so much because I just tell myself like.

This sounds so ridiculous but I just tell myself like I’m capable of doing it like I can do it and like for so long I would tell myself oh but like you’re not actually going to do it like you think you can but it’s not actually G to happen and then like when I decided to go gluten-free and at the point I was two weeks in I was like I’m capable of.

Doing this like I’m going to do this and so like it’s been crazy um it really has just been crazy and so I am currently okay so I’m currently supposed to be going gluten-free for two months but I will say like I think I’m hoping it just turns into habit the real the hard part will be now I’m kind of thinking I’ll do it till Thanksgiving.

Which is a little longer than 2 months but I think I’ll continue after that like I’m just giving myself dates to kind of keep myself going like I think knowing how long I’ve been doing it for has been helping me because it’s like okay you’ve done it for this long like you can keep doing it for this long I do think I’ll keep doing it the only thing.

I am worried about is Thanksgiving because we’re going to my grandparents house and they have a lot of good snacks and I also haven’t been craving sweets as much was which has been really interesting because so many sweets are GL not glutenfree I just don’t crave them as much anymore I also think it’s a lot easier to stay away from things when.

They have a label on them like or sorry when they’re not gluten-free like you just can’t have it like it’s not really a choice it’s just like you can’t have it um but what was I just saying oh but like pumpkin pie isn’t gluten-free so I don’t know what’s going to go down with that so there’s a lot like still to be learned but I don’t think I’ve honestly.

Kind of decided like I’m not going to have the pumpkin pie but I might have like the inside of the pumpkin pie pie but I think I’m going to have the inside of it and just not the crust which I’m pretty sure the inside is glutenfree but I have to fact check that or I could get a glutenfree one honestly going gluten-free has changed my life because.

I have an insane amount of will discipline now regarding like foods and exercise which has been really in inspiring to see and like exciting but I’ll keep documenting the journey it’s definitely not always easy so right now I’m not having any like processed snack gluten-free snacks but at the beginning of my journey I did have a few and so I.

Do have some recommendations that I can link below um for those there were these really good bars I had they’re like banana I’ll link them I look out for them in the description cuz they they were really good and then these other like little muffin they’re not muffins but they were really good too anyways.

But that’s my video for today I hope you enjoyed it I hope it inspired you and I’ll see you guys next time bye
