Deliciously Nutritious Breakfast Option for Gluten Sensitivities

For those looking for a delicious gluten-free breakfast option, gluten-free sausage and egg biscuits provide a hearty and satisfying meal. The recipe begins with a simple mixture of 2 cups of all-purpose gluten-free flour (or regular flour), 1 tablespoon of baking powder, ½ teaspoon of salt, and 1 cup of heavy cream. These ingredients are combined in a bowl until well blended, then scooped onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. The biscuits are baked in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes, resulting in a fluffy and flavorful base for the breakfast sandwich.

Once the biscuits have cooled, they can be sliced in half and filled with precooked sausage, fried eggs, and slices of cheese. For those who wish to prepare meals in advance, these biscuits can also be frozen. To do so, it’s recommended to wrap them in foil and parchment paper before placing them in the freezer, ensuring they stay fresh for future breakfasts. This recipe is not only easy to follow but also versatile, allowing for customization with different fillings or cheeses based on personal preference.
