Channel if you’ve ever tried to go on vacation go to a restaurant and you have a specific dietary requirement it can be a little difficult even if you don’t have one you might know someone who does we went on a twoe Carnival Journeys cruise and in the main dining room I ordered gluten-free meals they have a special gluten-free menu so when you.
Swipe left on the regular menu it’ll go vegan and then gluten-free so there’s an entire menu of gluten-free foods I tried so many different options I’m going to go through those here I’m going to show you the best I’m also going to show you the worst here we go first off the main dining room in the vetsa was beautiful I just had to show you that here it was so.
Pretty there was a gondola it was Italian themed it had the sky painted on the ceiling I absolutely loved it they do bring bread when you sit down and you can’t ask for gluten-free bread it does come in these two little slices it’s pretty crumbly you have to let the butter sit for a long time to be able to spread it I don’t know if I’d.
Necessarily recommend it so I ordered it here you can see what it looks looks like two small slices it’s okay if you’re starving it’ll be delicious glutenfree Rotel with lamb and tomato the Lamb with the Rotel so the fact that they have gluten-free pasta ready to go is fantastic the lamb was delicious it wasn’t gay me at all they.
Have the everyday meal so the chicken breast the steak you can order those as gluten-free too that was super easy really delicious for dessert you can get a gluten-free melting chocolate cake every time I ordered it would come out a little different this one is an oval there’s a square one for the brunch the brunch is really good for the.
Gluten-free section although dinner rotates so every day you can have something different the brunch is kind of the same you can rotate what you’re getting but it does kind of get old after a while so I usually get the parfait I’ll show you the pancakes here that I got which were you’ll see.
Gluten-free pancakes eggs bacon hash brown syrup uhoh I took a page out of Kyle’s book and I did not like my breakfast my pancakes were dry and hard and my eggs were not great and the bacon was really good and the hash BRS were really good but I just didn’t like the rest of it so unfortunately I’m wasting that much look.
At his plate holy crap you got French toast eggs did you get eggs no French toast bacon and french toast bacon potatoes holy guacamole empty look at oh how the tables have turned I was so excited because it was fet Mand day so occasionally I will order off of the regular menu even if it.
Doesn’t say specifically gluten-free because usually it’s the sauces or there’s a little crumb on top I did order the fillet Manan and I ordered a tofu steak here’s how the filet went fet minion with bra short rib and this is a tofu steak with a potato looks good look look good I’m going to cut into that fillet she got a hunk of.
Meat oh my god let’s see inside of it oh it’s BL bloody bloody red did you say medium yeah no medium medium well not medium rare o so I wanted to eat this but I ordered it medium and it is so raw that I’m not going to eat it but the.
Tofu steak looks good chocolate panada they even have the emerald specials on the gluten-free menu is well here’s a chicken ruad and also some marinated chicken tenders which were so delicious both of them were fantastic the ruad was covered with Pudo one of my favorite foods here’s what those look like marinated Chien tenders awesome.

Think W he got thumbs up my gluten-free one is a little different because his has a gravy and mine doesn’t but I don’t think I can tell that I’m missing anything I will say some of the desserts were were not a hit we both got the key lime pie he got the regular that had the crust I got the gluten-free which was just the key lime with some whipped.
Cream on top we could not taste the key lime at all it kind of just tasted like sugary filling it was still good but it was not limey in the slightest no lime whatsoever one of the things I tried this time that I don’t usually get is the breakfast sandwich and then I also got the eggs benedict both of them were delicious the eggs benedict was just.
Fantastic here’s what those look like I got a waffle breakfast sandwich enjoy enjoy egg Benedict glutenfree these look really delicious some of the meals did not have a specific gluten-free menu there was a meals around the world that didn’t so I tried to order things that I could reasonably see there was no big slices.
Of bread or tortillas or things like that so the barbecue ribs amazing probably some of the best I’ve had and then the crispy honey beef was so good usually those aren’t gluten-free uh a lot of stir fries because they use soy sauce instead of tamari Trace Amounts of gluten I don’t have a problem with it’s kind of the.
Bigger Breads and buns and things all the delicious things like that cause some problems with my autoimmune disease but Trace mounts I don’t really notice the difference I did order both of those off of the regular menu let’s take a look I don’t have barbecue I don’t know why one came through awesome thank you so.
Much I don’t know why came through yep it’s so tender Falls right off the B Del one thing I don’t order enough is the featured vegetarian Indian dish so this one was a pic Penny or Curry one of the best dishes I had the entire time there’s so much flavor it was so good it was just cooked perfectly I am going to start ordering the Indian dish more.
Often I think because I didn’t know what to expect and it was amazing I also ordered a waldorf salad that was really good this is the pic paneer it’s the vegetarian I have a waldorf salad with smoked turkey you will find the desserts is kind.
Of coin toss as to what you’re going to get I ordered gluten-free tiu Kyle ordered tiu I got an oval dish that just had the whipped Maser pone cheese that was it I thought there was going to be like some sort of uh coffee little cookie something at the bottom no no it’s only only the whipped mascar pone so while it does list that there is a.
Gluten-free option sometimes you just get little bits and pieces of the full thing it was a little bit odd because it missed so many marks where you look for the coffee flavor you look for kind of the powdered chocolate at the top no no just some whipped butter and sugar and uh mascara pone cheese I know I’ve said this before.
Probably in every video that has food in it Carnival does short ribs but perfect the most perfect short ribs I’ve ever had have been on a Carnival ship I got bourbon glazed beef short rib here’s what that looked like okay bourbon glazed beef short ribs they look really tasty actually I love the short ribs on Carnival ships.
They are always so tender they do such a good job yeah that’s going to be good I need a moment of silence for this one it was so delicious oh my goodness speechless amazing Chateau Bond so it had some potatoes like mashed potatoes it had broccoli and then there was a red wine Jew with the beef all of.
It was amazing the beef was so tender it was a really big portion so much bigger than I expected the minute I poured that sauce out and tasted it with everything so so good I also got the pecan crusted tofu usually We’ll order two dishes because the portions can be kind of small and then if you don’t like something then what I mean what do you.
Do go to the buffet after so because you can order two the third one is a $5 extra charge we usually order the two and then we’ll like one more than the other in this case they they were both amazing in their own way but that chatau Brion if it’s ever on the menu jump on it get it it is so good I actually get this dish quite a bit when we go to.
Brunch the wos Rancheros it is so good there’s some gluten-free tortilla gluten-free corn tortilla some bean paste pulled chicken and then egg and a little bit of salsa on the top fantastic that’s one of my favorite brunch dishes to get it’s pretty standard across the board you know you’re going to get you know it tastes good here we have a Pudo.
And melon so it’s just melon covered in Pudo okay p and melon I don’t oh it’s just a little melon with a Pudo blanket and cover that baby back up here we have grilled beef tenderloin cooked to Perfection it had the red wine Jew just like the chatau bond was a little bit different this one already.
Had it on the dish I don’t know why but that chatau Bond just stood out is one of the best things that I had the whole time this is probably a close second here’s an example of why we usually order two dishes so I have the bourbon chicken and then I also got the grilled ribeye hoping that the ribeye would be good I love a good steak nope nope NOP.
No total 180 on that take a look bourbon chicken this is my appetizer and then I have a ribeye for my entree little riy this is a thinny really is right it’s a thin thin ribey I’m glad I ordered the chicken and.
The ri cuz I wanted this medium well and it’s so thin and it’s super well done that the chicken was the way to go how’s your chicken chicken was good well prob we had a raw steak and a burnt steak you know stens out yeah so far my steak has been purple and so well done I think normally people assume gluten-free is going to be mostly salads and then maybe.
A little bit of extra things the gluten-free menu is pretty meat heavy outside of the vegetarian Indian dish which like like I said was so delicious I’m definitely ordering that again salads are still great here’s the spinach salad we both really loved it I got my beautiful spinach salad that’s so big and.
Then look at spin it spin your dinky salad this is like the main reason I wanted to come to the dining room I wanted a nice salad look at this oh my God they love me oh my God he started to cry so I had to switch salads with him look the things I do to keep him happy here take all my food take my spinach.
Salad no that’s the piece I want oh he took my orange he’s taking everything from me come get it give it back I have I do want to also touch on the deli so if you’re in the buffet area they do have different specialty places where you can get other Foods so they have a.
Deli section now you can get a gluten-free bun which is different than the slices of bread which are kind of dry and crackly the bun is fantastic and they take such care when they prepare your food they go in the back section they use different utens pencils they used a different spoon to scoop out the sauce they used they put it on a.
Different plate than the fries which are not handled without potential cross-contamination utensils touching gluten they do take a lot of care which I appreciated here is what the sandwich looked like the bun was fantastic and I only know that they had a bun because someone we ate next to in the main dining room also was gluten-free and she.
Mentioned how good the Buns were at the deli abs absolutely right I’m ordering those from now on so when you’re in the buffet which we don’t spend a lot of time doing we usually try to go to the sit down main dining room for breakfast or brunch and then dinner we’ll snack throughout the day they do have the little notes at the top that’ll tell you.
If it’s gluten-free at night we did have some pizza and they had a whole gluten-free vegetarian pizza I thought it was pretty decent I was happy to have that you know super late when you can’t really get much else the fact that they had a glutenfree option was really great I hope you enjoyed watching the different options you have in the main.

Different options we always do pack some extra snacks and things before we go so that if I’m hungry throughout the day we have something in the room that is gluten-free that I can just snack on little snack bars or cookies or something if I get fomo and he’s eating chocolate chip cookies and then I can’t have any well now I can as always thank.
