Out of every ReRe I’ve traveled to Spain is by far my most visited country and Barcelona is my most visited city I’ve been there five times now but for good reasons Spain is hands down the best country when it comes to gluten-free food and celiac disease awos and yes I have been to Italy the food is so diverse and there is a gluten-free.

Option on every street corner in Barcelona we recently went for a quick 5-day work trip so this is a quick rundown of my favorite gluten-free eats in Barcelona we needed breakfast to be quick and easy so Pepe and leppo became the breakfast spot for the entire a trip there’s a reason for that though Not only was it close our hotel but the food.

Was actually beautiful and they had the nicest gluten-free bread everywhere in Spain has the best gluten-free bread why can’t we get that in the UK they had a few gluten-free options including some sandwiches and also smoothie bowls as well and even though the kitchen was absolutely tiny the chef did her absolute best to make sure everything.

Was cooked separately and to make sure my meal was safe she cooked the bread in a separate part of the kitchen and managed to get fresh ingredients to put in the sandwiches every single time by day three they knew who we were they knew our order so we were pretty much regulars by that point but honestly the staff were incredibly friendly and it.

Was just a pleasure going there every single morning okay Gro neopolitano if you’ve seen my anda Lucia video then you’ll know I’ve been here before if not then I mean please go watch it but as soon as I found out Gro Neapolitan had a branch in Barcelona it was number one on my list of places to eat while we were there this is the best glutenfree pizza.

I’ve ever had in my life nothing ever comes close to this and the best thing about this is that they 100% Glo free branches is so not only do you get delicious gluten-free pizza but there’s absolutely no reason to worry about cross contamination just try it if you can if you’re in Spain and there’s a gross Neapolitan or just just try it do.

It you will not regret it this is the closest you’re going to get to an authentic Neapolitan style pizza it was 32° the whole time we were there hot lunches was not what I was looking for so on more than one occasion I had asai Akai asai balls asai balls asai balls mood brunch was right next to our hotel and they did a decent one they also.

Offered gluten-free Pancakes on the menu as well but I also had an A but I also had an as eye balll at a place called Exotica branch and they did a delicious one it was nice and thick full of flavor and best of all topped with a ton of tropical fruit it was so beautiful and refreshing in the heat it was exactly what I needed so if I had to pick.

Between the two for an ASI Bowl I would say go to Exotica Branch now if you’re wondering how I’m managing to find all of these amazing gluten-free options I will share a really useful tool with you at the end of this video which has helped me find safe gluten-free options throughout all of my travels quickly and easily on my third ever trip to.

Barcelona I went to a restaurant called catic I was so impressed with the food and the experience there I at there twice during that day so as soon as I found out we were going back to Barcelona I could not wait to go back to copacetic the food tasted exactly like it did back in 2017 absolutely stunning they have a huge gluten-free menu and.

Cross-contamination is something they take very seriously the portion sizes are massive and they serve stunning comforting hearty food like burgers creps and sandwiches it’s probably my favorite restaurant in Barcelona but my favorite lunch of the trip had to be at a place called honor screens 90% of their menu is gluten-free the only thing.

We can’t really have is the bread but they have such a variety of ingredients you can make up any sort of bowl you want you know it makes such a huge difference to your meal when you have ingredients that are fresh and actually taste of something like I live in the UK and our fruit and veg just has no taste at all I left honor screens with a.

Massive smile on my face because of how amazing the food was and it’s such a simple concept chicken veg salad but it just goes to show how much of a difference the quality of ingredients matters because it tastes so freaking good I highly recommend on the screens for lunch if you visit Barcelona and you do have the time I would highly.

Recommend the 40-minute train ride to a nearby Seaside town called sites not only is the town itself absolutely stunning but I would not leave without a visit to Mercy everything about our visit here was just perfect it was a nice cozy romantic atmosphere the food was absolutely stunning bursting with flavor and they had loads of gluten-free.

Options the standard of food in Barcelona was so high throughout the trip but this was probably the best meal we had while we were there this was also our last meal of the trip so it was just such a perfect way to end a perfect 5 days and I now have a restaurant worthy of going back to the next time I visit because let’s face it this won’t be the.

Last time I visit Barcelona before we go I’m just going to share with you a very useful tool that I’ve been using throughout my travels so far it’s called the gluten-free eat map by Atley they have thousands and thousands of restaurants mapped out worldwide and as you can see when I was in Barcelona I had no trouble finding places to eat.

Usually before I travel I do a lot of research I didn’t really do much this time because I looked at the app before I went and I wasn’t worried at all they have worked with ciac Specialists and dietitians to create this map especially for us they have a bunch of other features that are super useful as well including many more filters saving.

Options commenting recommendations and you can even create your own custom map for traveling as well they have a 7-Day free trial so I highly recommend trying it out on your next holiday I will leave the link in the description for you and if you’re already a user of the gluten feat map let me know in the comments what you think if you’ve been to.
