Indulge in Love: A Decadent Gluten-Free Chocolate Cake for Valentines Day

Happy Valentine’s Day everybody I’m going to show you a beautiful delicious recipe from my cookbook simple healthy recipes a delicious delectable delightful spectacular chocolate cake that’s gluten-free refined sugarfree dairyfree and tastes absolutely delicious and it’s super moist and amazing perfect for your Valentine today.

Actually I’m going to start off with half a cup of extra virgin olive oil now this recipe is really easy half a cup of everything so you won’t get it wrong half a cup of olive oil we’ve got four organic eggs so one bowl mix it cake we’ve got a splash of vanilla extract now we’ve got half a cup of water putting that in really really.

Simple and half a cup of just pure maple syrup which gives it a lovely nice natural sweetness and you’re pretty much going to mix the wet ingredients so it’s really really simple it’s very super moist it’s got lots of beautiful heart healthy fats in there and the water makes it really really lovely and light.

And fluffy so now this is the yummy part now I’ve got another half a cup of naked chocolate dark in here but you can also use naked chocolate milk if you wanted to so look at this it’s rich and creamy and beautiful and dark luscious so that’s around half a cup is around 60 G so one more Spoonful and mixing that through until.

It’s combined 300 G of just almond milk so that’s going to add beautiful moistness to the cake as well as pumping it up with protein and vitamin E and make it taste delicious it’s a lovely flowless cake which I love and last but not least just a a few spoonfuls of baking powder so it’s going to help give it a.

Bit of a lift and a bit of a rise so give it a nice mix until it’s combined look how life lovely and Luscious and dark it is what I’m going to do just put it into a 20 cm lined baking tin now if you want to double the recipe feel free to do so if you want a double layer cake which is awesome.

So I’m just turning that in look at that Lush gorgeous healthy and delicious and it’s not too sweet either like a lot of chocolate cake so and this will keep in the fridge for around about a week if it lasts that long going to bake this for around about 35 minutes to 40 minutes now I recommend taking it out of the oven 5 minutes.

Before it’s ready that way the inside’s still going to beit moist and Lush it’s bit it’s a bit more of a chocolate fudge brownie type of cake is nice so in the oven 160° fan forced okay so the cakes are done I actually made another cake as well so I can double layer it so here you go now they’ve cooled they’ve also been in the fridge slightly so I can.

Decorate them and cut them and whatnot so that’s really important and I’ve also made my chocolate avocado frosting so it’s a combination of avocados coconut milk the recipes in the book simple healthy recipes and it’s super easy take you 5 minutes to make but let it settle overnight so it’s looking lovely and Lush and gorgeous and it’ll be fantastic.

For icing the cake you’ll normally find there’s a little bit of a rise on the cakes when when you bake them or after you bake them so a good trick is just to just cut the very top off the cake so it just leaves a bit of a flattened base so you can put your frosting on there the generous here we go lovely.

Gorgeous and delicious I love this frosting it will keep for around about four or 5 days in the fridge this frosting so you can even eat it as a mousse look at that now it be nice and thick and generous with it I’m also cutting the top of this one here just so it’s a little bit flatter and you’ll.

See look how fudgy and moist it is in there it’s like a little chocolate brownie it’s so delicious and that’s because of the olive oil as well and I’ve taken it out 5 minutes before it’s cooked so it’s lovely in fun you but you’re turning that upside down so you’ve got a nice flat top give it a press.

Down how yummy is this I think the guys at the office are going to devour this today but this is perfect I’m going to give hubby a piece of this for his little Valentine’s Day today and then we’ll just devour the rest in the office okay so now I’m going to show you the second part to decorate this awesome.

Beautiful gluten-free chocolate cake from my new book simple healthy recipes and it’s a lovely little Piping Bag this is how to make it I learned this when I was an apprentice Chef many many years ago actually 30 years ago can you believe it oh my God but this is really easy so triangle little bit of glad bag triangle.

And with a nice little sharp knife cut it in half what we’re going to do just going to make it into a nice little paper con check it out nice little paper con like that so you get a nice a nice little tip and with the ends we’re going to fold the ends.

In so it seals it so you end up getting a little sealed in at the end and you can type PPE your beautiful chocolate Happy Valentine’s Day with it so this is really cool pour some chocolate into my popping bag now don’t overfill them either and again carefully without spilling.

Anything okay so it’s wonderful it’s beautiful look how delicious this looks Happy Valentine’s Day and um my beautiful Lush chocolate cake recipe from my cookbook simple healthy recipes and just Chopped with a little bit of raspberry and um if you have any chocolate left in your little Piping Bag these these can just be kept at room.

Temperature you can just put it stick it in the microwave for a few seconds and it’ll liquify again too so you can do some more piping wherever you want I just want to take I need to take a piece I want to show you what it’s like inside so let’s have a look lovely guilt-free Lush oh my God here we.
