Hello everyone happy Thursday it is Taco Thursday and we are going to be making um a version of tacos so I’m going to be using my Steamers tonight one I already have in the um the microwave right now I must said the oven uh the Steamers can go in the microwave and the oven fun fact but I have some rice cooking it’s been cooking for um it’s got about 5.
Minutes left it’s in there for 16 minutes um and it makes the most perfect rice in the multi-purpose steamer so go ahead and say hello in the comments let me know that you’re here put hash replay if I’m no longer live and that way I know that you were able to check out the video um so we are going to be putting our raw hamburger in the.
Steamer and that is going to be cooked up I’m using the ground meat separator from Epicure as well this thing is lovely um we’re going to be cooking this in the microwave as well just a couple of short minutes and it will be cooked to Perfection um we’re going to start out with four minutes and see how that looks um it’s just about probably about.
A pound at the most of hamburger um and I’m going to be using our taco seasoning in the jar we don’t have the taco season seasoning in the packet anymore um just in the jar but I wanted to just share with you guys the difference between store-bought taco and Epicure Taco so store bought has 370 milligrams of sodium per two.
Teaspoons that’s the serving size Epicure taco seasoning has zero milligrams of sodium so that is a huge difference from 3 70 to zero obviously that’s a massive difference so that is just one reason why Epicure is so much better for you than the store bought Brands um so we are going to take our taco seasoning and put that.
Right here with our hamburger and that is going to be delicious we’re going to cook that up like I said in about four minutes we’re going to see how it looks we’ve got three 3 minutes left on the rice um so let me know in the comments what you are having for supper is it.
Epicure are you grilling it’s kind of chilly out um the sun is shining but it has been so windy so we’re not too grilling season just yet um but I’m going to cover that and it’s going to cook for four minutes soon as that is done um but with our seamers so we have.
Several Steamers and all of them right now are 20% off so now is a really good time if you’ve watched me use them um I use the multi-purpose steamer I wouldn’t say every single night but pretty much um I cook my hamburger in that the other day I took hamburger out of the freezer it was um completely.
Frozen and I popped my hamburger in the steamer and I put it in the microwave and I think at the end it was like six minutes Al together and it was perfectly cooked so from out straight out of the freezer Frozen hamburger and it was cooked in just minutes in the steamer in the microwav and I know that could sound weird but don’t knock it until you try.
It excuse me um so I also have some taco sauce cooking um I make my own taco sauce it’s so simple but it’s what I ate growing up and it is so good a taco is just not the same without it and it simply is um a can of tomato sauce and some barbecue sauce and I cook that up I mix it together cook it on the.
Stove top and it’s so good when it is warm on your taco um so if you do salsa that’s great but you should give that a try it just takes your taco to the next level um so the Steamers multipurpose steamer um so like I said it’s got rice cooking in it there so I do Rice all the time in the seamer and I forgot to see if I.
Had my wle seasoning oh boy I don’t think I do so I won’t be able to make my guacamole here on camera because I’m going to go have to look through my stash yes my stash of Epicure but we’re going to be making guacamole um as well to go on top so.
Just have an avocado and then our guacamole seasoning is so good I love to put it on um uh eggs it adds just really great flavor to eggs um so we’re going to be making quick guacamole not on camera like I said I that was one thing I was going to grab but.
Um okay so our rice is complete so you want to be very careful taking this out because that is very hot and rice has just cooked so while that’s cooling off I’m going to put my hamburger in here for 4 minutes we’re going to bring our rice over me just set this here they are silicone it’s everything is silicone.
Cookware so it’s lovely hey everyone that’s watching I always put my thing so away and then I can’t I can’t see it so um it’s so easy to clean and nothing is going to stick in the steamer so you’re not scrubbing pans sorry guys you’re not uh scrubbing pans because it’s a little bit.
Hot okay so you’re going to take the tray off and I don’t know if you can see that but we are going to just fluff the rice up and it is cooked to Perfection um every time 16 minutes in the steamer in the microwave and if you are like me if you cook rice used I used to cook rice on the stove top and it was always boiling over and there was going to.
Be oh you had little penas that’s delicious I don’t get that very often but awesome good for you um so rice boils over on the stove top and if you’re not watching it because when you’re doing 10 other things to get supper on the table you know it’s hard to watch so you’re scrubbing your stove top.
Afterwards you’re scrubbing the pan that it cooked in and nobody wants to be doing that so with the steamer it Cooks it you don’t even have to pay attention to it 15 16 minutes in the microwave it’s cooking up you’re not worrying about it you’re doing other things and it’s so easy to clean like nothing sticks to it can you see that nothing.
Sticks okay so I am going to spice the rice up a little bit hello Sarah um this is no longer available but um at one time we had ancho lime seasoning and this is so good I really hope that they bring it back um but it’s got that lime and that um citrusy spicy flavor that goes really.
Well with tacos so I am going to add this to my rice maybe not the whole thing I might just half it because I did cook quite a bit of rice so we can use it for something else um but I am going to season that up so multi-purpose steamer I have cooked a whole lasagna in there um in 15 minutes in the microwave I cook my brownies in the.
Steamer only four minutes for brownies to cook so when it’s late at night and you want something quick and sweet our brownies are not only amazing our fudgy brownies but they can be cooked in four minutes in the microwave so and they come out so so good last time I drizzled um peanut butter on the top and then I cooked them I think I shared a reel um.
On my profile and oh my goodness it was so good so you can cook that you could even do a cake in there if you wanted um our round steamer is so awesome as well people cook um I have not done it myself yet but I have seen it been tried and proven that people can cook an entire chicken in 20 minutes a whole chicken in 20 minutes in the microwave and it comes.
Out perfect so oop I’ll wash that off good thing I’m the only one eating it um so there’s so much that you can do we have our rectangular steamer which is smaller it’s great for just a small amount of veggies um or you can do like an entire loaf of banana bread or um cray lemon loaf that’s really good in there as well in 8 minutes so that is.
Super awesome Okay so moment of truth I said four minutes but we’ll see um if it needs any longer it does not it’s perfectly cooked four minutes and this was done let me wash this off so I can use it again um so it smells so good we’re going to just.
Drain the liquid like you would have in your Pan um I’m going to bring this over so you can see it so smells delicious 4 minutes and you can see it literally is non-stick so I can hardly show you but it’s cooked to perfection in just minutes in the microwave so we used both of our.
Steamers tonight both the um multi-purpose and that’s why I need two and I’m pretty sure I got both of those for free with rewards so it’s so awesome if you are interested in getting any of them the round steamer rectangular the multi-purpose um let me know I would love to have a party with you and then that way you can get them for free like.
