Good morning we’re back in the kitchen this morning aren’t with kale kale uh wanted to help me again this morning he’s leaving today he’ll be back Monday though so but we’re going to make a low carb uh blueberry biscuit I was talking to my granddaughter uh promise yesterday she said Grandma we made the best blueberry uh biscuit so I.
Said well honey send me the recipe so this is the recipe she sent me and uh so kale talk loud now and tell them what you’re what you let me tell you what it CS for calls for one and 1/2 cups of almond flour 1/2 cup of coconut flour 1/2 cup of sweetener but she said Grandma you probably going to add a little bit more sweetener to it because.
Uh we will next time one2 cup of sour cream 4 tablespoons of melted butter that’s cooled three eggs room temperature one and A2 teaspoons of baking powder and I have already put my baking powder in with my almond flour 1/4 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of lemon extract and when we get these when we bring these out of the oven we’re.
Going to have a lemon glaze to go over them so we’ll be making that in a little bit okay kale tell them what you’re doing oh uh so first we have to crack the eggs yep just put it in there he’s quite the little chef y’all and he loves to cook so every time I come in the kitchen he’s.
Said Grandma is there anything I can do to help you so he’s going to crack these and he’s going to beat them a little bit with his electric mixer I to see what we’re making you want to okay excuse me all right put that in put your egg in here yeah all right now I got your mixer right I’ll take that baby.
I’ll get it out of the way cuz we got a lot on this table all right he’s going to turn this on and he’s going to beat it like a minute before we add our other wet ingredients there you go all right put it yeah hold up straight like that okay I’m not going to turn the camera off right now because he’s only going to.
Beat this a few seconds all right that’s enough turn it off there you go all right let me get uh let me get this up right here baby that’s a little bit of the egg okay just hold your just let me turn it loose just sit it down just like that okay all right now so what are we making this morning uh blueberry muffins blueberry.
Biscuit oh yeah yeah blueberry you can make muffins out of it if you want to but uh so we’re making blueberry but a biscuit all right tell them what you’re putting in it next baby uh sweetener sweetener yeah now don’t put all of that put almost all of it uh yeah a little bit more just a little bit I I have three that’s enough I have 34 of a cup.
Out here we’re going to start out with a half a cup just to see now you can go ahead and put your other wed ingredients in use your spatula there yep to get it out okay my sour cream I had at the back of the refrigerator and it was almost Frozen well some of it was frozen okay get it all.
Out there you go all right let me get this right okay now what goes next uh butter okay that’s uh 1/4 cup or 1/2 stick of butter all right now what goes one teaspoon of lemon extract 1/2 teaspoon of lemon extract one half so find your half okay.
And our icing is also going to be lemon so I love lemon and blueberry together there you go perfect all right Grandma going take this and put it over here cuz we’re not going to need it right now now he’s going to beat this up for probably a minute because we want it well Incorporated in so I’m going to turn the camera off and then when we come back uh.
We’ll do the rest of it Kale’s got his um got his Red ingredients it’s mixed and in this bowl I’m going to mix my one cup of almond flour and my half cup of almond flour and I had uh in that I had a teaspoon and a half of baking powder and 1/4 teaspoon of salt and also I’m mixing my half2 cup of coconut.
Flour okay baby now Grandma’s fixing can I mix it sure just mix it up good really well okay yeah we going to get all that bakon powder and salt smells like almond flour doesn’t it smells like something from like a bakery smells like something from a bakery hey that’s a good that’s a good thing all right mix it that’s right stir.
It around good okay and I’m hoping this mixer is not going to be too loud that it uh that you can’t hear us that good okay that’s good all right you you going to do your you want to do the mixer or you want me to do it while you while we put this in I’ll do it okay he’s going to do the go ahead and put it.
Down in there and I’m going to just Spoonful by Spoonful kind of mix this in and then we’re just going to stir our blueberries in cuz you don’t want to break your you don’t want to tear your blueberries up with a mixer okay now I’ve never eaten these but promisees they’re.
Good all right we’re almost through baby now it’s going to be kind of a a dry Dough because they are biscuit all right all right just keep mixing them until they mix up good go around the edges yeah all right let me get um all right turn it off a.
Second all right let Grandma get down in here and get see all that let’s get all that all right mix it huh there’s a lot on the side okay all right Grandma wants to get all of that okay mix it again all right go around the side I’ll turn it bowl that way we’ll get it all okay that looks pretty good to me.
Doesn’t it to you okay all right tell you what I’m going to show you how to do this turn it back on and just put it on real low and just slightly bring your bether up and it gets most of your batter off your off your beers okay now what we’re going to do is uh grandma’s going to.
Clean this table we’re going to drop this by spoonfuls here’s your oh we got to put our blueberries in now that was 6 oz I put more because we love blueberries that call for 6 oz but I put a whole Cup in there and um okay stir them in good without yeah I know yeah yeah Grandma forgot GL I did wash them but I didn’t.
Look for stems so all right it’s okay baby all right yeah just get them stirred up good try not to bust any or tear them up up good yep that’s good all right grandma’s going to go around it one time like this and get some of that bottom get some on that bottom okay you.
Know what I kept some blueberries out so I’m going to put a few more in it cuz we love blueberries don’t we kale likes to eat them too he loves last night he just had a little bowl of blueberries he loves them about like Grandma does oh that looks better doesn’t it all right that looks better all right.
You take this spoon now you can do this in Big Biscuit or you can do it in little ones you know what that’s a lot you know what I I’m going to get it called for a 9 in pan cast iron skillet but I’m going to get my bigger one because that looks like too much hold on a sec we going to use this one.
Baby all right this size yes about that size all right I’m just spraying it with my cooking spray all right yeah just yes that’s perfect just do it like that Grandma needs a spoon oh I got one right here yep oh that’s perfect kale yes we.
Needed a bigger pan y’all it’s supposed to make five big ones or 10 little ones but but we’re doing medium yeah we’re doing medium ours is going to make more than that I may have to use two pans kale but I went right by the recipe okay but we added more blueberries we added more lemon we added.
More blueberries and more you’re right we added a little bit more than what it called for so I know we’re handling these our hands are clean believe me okay we’re going to finish this and it’s going to take this pan back here so we’ll be back in just a minute all right.
Y’all I want y’all to look we have 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 biscuit and kale wanted to do some tiny little ones in a tiny little pan so I got a tiny little cast iron pan so we’re going to put these in the oven and they should bake probably 15 18 minutes but when they come out then we’ll show them to you and in the meanwhile we’re going.
To make our lemon glaze to go over them we’re fixing to make the glaze for y’all now it costs for fresh lemon juice I didn’t have a fresh lemon so I’m just using uh just Jarred lemon juice kale you want to put that it’s a half a cup of powdered sweetener you want to put that in there.
Okay satisfying all right now put um two tablespoons of lemon juice okay all right that’s good yeah we love lemon he put a little bit more than that but we love lemon now now two tablespoons of one to two tablespoons of heavy cream only put one to begin with and one half teaspoon of lemon.
Extract I don’t want it slip out of my hand okay all right that’s good let’s try that let’s start with that one now 1/2 teaspoon of lemon extract who this is really going to be lemony y’all real real lemon that was more like 3/4 of a teaspoon okay now take your whisk and.
Stir It Up good luckily we like lemon luckily we like lemon you are absolutely right it smells like the lemon I know all right stirred up there it’s just granddaddy yeah wait it’s not woo that smells good he had to go get some blood work done this morning so he’s just getting back all right wow we I we’re not going.
To need any more heavy cream uh I think because of the extra lemon juice and lemon extract this looks good that looks good you want a taste of it oh my now kale can just eat plain lemons oh yeah he loves lemons okay soon as our biscuit get ready we be back good.

Here y’all got to make some of these the blueberries do a good job of sweetening up the biscuits don’t they mhm they do and that lemon sauce is really good and I’m glad I put that little extra uh Steve sweetener on them now I don’t think I told y’all what sweetener I use I’m trying a new sweetener that one of.
My uh one of my viewers told me about and it’s aulos yeah just keep putting it on there baby it’s called aulos and I made that’s what I put in these biscuit and it is so it is good they are so good it’s supposed to be a little bit sweeter when you bake with it than Stevia is so p a bit more you got it and.
Healthier too it’s a it’s really being uh proposed as a very health healthy mhm because of the effect it has on your body so if you’ve never used it look up agulo I’ll put it in the description box Al l u l o e agos that’s it my couldn’t I couldn’t wrap my brain wait a minute baby well at our age the.
