Hey guys welcome to today’s video and welcome or welcome back to my channel if you’re new here my name is Mariola so for today’s video we are baking our dog Goku which is a chazzer who is currently turning 4 years old and we are baking him a cake so we usually buy it pre-made but lately my husband and I Ruben we’ve been trying to do just as many things as.
We can homemade and also they’ve been going to the vet for some allergies and trying to get to the bottom as to what is giving them allergies because ever since we moved here to Puerto Rico they’ve just been having random allergies so because of that we’re trying to limit the ingredients and control them as much as we can so today.
We are going to bake them the birthday cake and they love celebrating birthdays we have ever since we’ve got them so I’m really excited hopefully it turns out good let’s see how it goes so let’s get into the video here are all the ingredients we’re going to be using I’m just missing the almond milk as well as the Greek yogurt that ours went bad so.
We changed it for some peanut butter this is a cake pan and our birthday boy was watching me the whole time giving me the supervision as he was sitting with this little Goku ghee first thing we’re going to do is line the cake tin with parchment paper as so and in a small bowl we’re going to put 2 and 1/4 cups of chickpea flour but.
You have to sift it so then you have to run it through and then it’s going to end up looking like this in the same Bowl we’re going to add 1 tpoon of baking powder 1 tpoon of baking soda and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon in a separate Bowl we’re going to add 1/4 cup of naturally refined coconut oil 2 tpoon of apple cider.
Vinegar and one cup of unsweetened almond milk and as you’re going to see everything is kind of separated so we whisked it together till it became one concise mixture then it’s time to pour the wet ingredients into the dry.
ingredients and then just mix it all together the recipe calls for you to be able to add some mashed strawberries and honey in but we decided to not do so so once it was done we poured it into the cake tin and then it was time to bake it at 350° for 30.
Minutes and then 30 minutes later it came out looking like this it looks a little bit crackly but it is fine because we are going to turn it around and cover it with peanut butter so we just separated from the cake tin and as I said the recipe calls for Greek yogurt but unfortunately when we opened it ours had gone very bad and we had no extra.
Greek yogurt so we just decided to use some peanut butter as the icing which was a super A+ idea because my boys love peanut butter as do I they are just like their mother so they were very happy with the finished result and voila this is the finished result.
Yes a piece of cake just went flying when I turned it around but let’s ignore that so this is Goku the birthday boy M who is a very pick a eater and I will say he actually ate the cake and loved it so very good review from Mo and this is Leo who will eat absolutely everything and he loved it so also 10 out of 10 review for the birthday boy.
And the birthday guest so the cake was very easy to make I definitely will be making it more often for for future birthday parties for the boys no allergy reactions afterwards and everybody did super great so I’m really happy with how the recipe turned out I will share the link Down Below in case you want to try the recipe for yourself and thank you so.
Much for joining me and I will see you in the next one bye
