Wholesome Delights: Crafting Irresistibly Soft and Flavorful Gluten-Free Loaves
Hey guys granny unplugged here uh today we are going to do a gluten-free bread recipe I already have all of our ingredients together so we’re going to go ahead and get this started um this is the recipe right here that I’m going to be using all right so let’s get going um oh to many Cricket for got my.
paddle all right um all right guys sorry I forgot to put my petal attachment on there so we’re going to it says spray your bread pan which I’ve already done let me show you guys I’ve got it over here I’ve already sprayed it um.
So then the next thing we’re going to do is we’re going to add the glutenfree flour to our bowl and it is 2 and 1/2 cups of allpurpose glutenfree flour and I’ll show you the brand that I used as well so I’m using this pillsberry allpurpose it has the xanthium gum already in it so I don’t need to add.
That however this is the brand um xanthium gum that I do use whenever I have to use that in a recipe some of you may not know I do have celiac disease so everything that you see me prepare is going to be glutenfree um so I’ll always tell you you know what I’m using um so we’re going to do the.
Flour baking powder it costs for a teaspoon of the baking powder this one is glutenfree so we’re going to do a teaspoon and I love that it has the little scrap the little metal piece right there so you can scrape make sure you get an exact measurement and it says to add your.
Instant yeast uh to the bowl and this right here it costs for one packet of Rapid rise instant yeast this right here is rapid rise now if you can buy it um like in a big package it’s two and A4 or two and a four tpoon is how much it measures out in case you need it that route so we’re going to add that going to add that in.
There all right and then put that over there sorry guys I am working with a small kitchen so you’ll see me go in and out out um all right and then we stir to combine the ingredients so let’s get all right we’re going to get I’m just using a wooden pineer woman spoon.
And I’m just going to stir the measurements inside my stand mixer and if you guys um are on the fence about getting a stand mixer I love mine use it for all kinds of things all right so we stir all of that to combine so we’re good there everything is stirred up that right there then the next step three is.
Add your olive oil I’ll show you this is the olive oil that I’m using um I got this from Aldi um it’s the extra virgin olive oil I try to get as much as I can from AI because that is the cheapest place to shop to get your stuff now let’s get have this so we’re going to add our olive oil and it is a.
Four of cup olive oil so we’re just going to pour that right down in here we’re going to scrape and make sure we get it all all right so that’s got our olive oil um then it says add your honey um and the Honey is A4 a cup as well and I’m an extremely lucky girl and.
Have an amazing ant and Uncle who provide me with honey that they make so that’s the honey I use um so it’s a four a cup of the honey so we’re going to put that in there and their honey is quite honestly the best honey you’re going to find so there’s.
That all right so we’ve got our honey added in there and then it calls for apple cider vinegar this is the apple cider vinegar that I use I use this for all kinds of things I even um do a hot drink and I put two tablespoons of it in that uh just to help it just helps with your insid and detoxing and stuff like that and if you if you have gut issues.
It helps with that um so this is the one that we’re going to put in here and it calls for a teaspoon of where yep a teaspoon so we’ve got our teaspoon here all right so we got that in there all right and warm water your warm water.
Is 1 and 1/2 cups and it needs to be in between 100 and 110° F I use my thermometer to make sure it’s the correct temperature so we’re going to add that in here okay and then it says we are going to mix on low for one minute so we’re going to walk that in place put our little my little Shield I.
Have and we’re going to mix it on low and it also tells you on the recipe if you’re using the stand up mixer to use the paddle attachment so you’ll notice that I’m not using the dough hook I’m using the paddle attachment okay and then since I have my shield on here now I can just leave that and add.
The ingredients like if you have a stand mixer you need one of these shields because you can add stuff right here in this bout and it helps keep it from having your stuff flying everywhere all right so then it says add the egg whites so I have three egg whites.
Here we’re going to add that and our salt let me get another spoon here um we’ll all right and for your salt it says to do one teaspoon of salt so I’m going to do my half a tablespoon and.
I’ll just measure it twice this is the salt that I use it’s the pink himalay lay in and we’re just going to measure out and two so there’s a teaspoon of salt put that over there then it says mix on medium so we’re going to turn it up to.
Medium and it says the dough will look like a thick cake batter which it does um once everything is mixed really well we’re going to pour it into our Pan um then we’ve got to get plastic wrap we spray the plastic wrap and we’re going to cover it and let it.
Rise okay okay lift our Shield up here oh there we go do that get a scraper scrape all of this down we just want to make sure that you know there it’s got all the bits and.
Pieces all mixed in really good going scrape all of that oh sorry I did not mean to have my head all up in y’all’s face like that all right let’s just make sure scrape the bottom everything looks like it’s mixed really well it’s thick like it’s supposed to be so we are.
Good I’m going to put gloves on so if I have to like get my hands in there even though I washed them before cooking um I still like having the gloves on I’m really funny about stuff like that you’ll always see me with my hair pulled back even though my bangs.
Sometimes will get loose and make me look like a wild woman but I’m funny about stuff like that when it comes to being in the kitchen probably years of working in the food industry has got me that way I would say all right we’re going to put our P right in there okay so it says we’re going to.
Pour our so let me so I’m not moving you guys all around move this stuff make a little more room over here all right and then hold on that all right hold on let me get where GL gloves.
Jeez there we go all right so pour dough into your pan so we’re going to get our dough into the pan now this obviously is not a keto recipe because I’m trying to make a homemade gluten-free bread that my husband will like um because I know he.
Misses bread and sandwiches and whatnot and glutenfree bread in general is super expensive and it’s it’s not really there’s only been a few brands that we’ve found that are decent um but we can’t always find.
Them and they are super expensive and sometimes it’s like your gluten-free bread has holes in it and stuff like that so I’m just trying to find something that I can make at home cost that’s going to be cost friendly that he’s going to like um so he can have you know fresh bread.
Have his sandwiches um and things like that all right so we’ve got it in our pan it says pour dough into your pan I’m just reading from our recipe here um spray pla so we’re going to get some plastic wrap we’re going to spray it um and then we’re going to cover the top of the pan with it we’re going to.
Coover cover the pan with a kitchen towel then and allow the bread to rise in a warm place for 30 minutes so what I’m going to do at this point is I’m going to go ahead and pause the video um once the 30 minutes are over I will come back and we will continue making our bread all right guys um so we let the bread.
Rise for 30 minutes and then you bake it in the oven so I’ll go ahead and give you the rest of the instructions cuz I just pulled it out and then I’ll put you right there so you guys can see it all right so what we did was we sprayed plastic wrap put that over the bread then I topped it with a a kitchen towel clean kitchen towel mind.
You we let the bread rise for 30 minutes in a warm place then I put it in the oven at 350 and baked it for 30 minutes um I actually went it cost 30 minutes but it didn’t look quite ready so I did an extra 10 minutes so I did a total of 40 minutes at 350 with my oven your oven could vary of course um now we’re going.
To let it cool for 10 minutes and once the h husband gives it a taste test I’ll let you guys know in the description what he thought about it and I’ll also add the recipe as well for you just in case um so now I am going to do another recipe um so whenever you see a video later on this week and I’m in this.
Outfit it’s because I did both these videos same day that’s all um but with my work schedule that’s kind of how I have to do it weekends I do my videos and then I post them throughout the week but again I’ll let you know um if we say yay or nay on the bread and I’ll post that recipe for you as well or a link where you can get the recipe as well and.
Until then granny out y’all peace
