Bathing suit lot of fun going on 1.2 million views I mean we’re doing this several years now my first one oh boy I duct taped my cell phone to a cabinet that was my first one and I forgot to put my pants on and I aired it anyway horrible but now here we are right what is it.
2025 what I’m asking I’m asking my producer What the freaking year is what is it today gluten-free orange creamsicle cake it came out perfect now I’m not too much of a cake maker but I’m a great cake eater so I’m kind of half happy about this one but it came out great.
Just follow the instructions I mean it’s like have remember you were a kid and and we had a good humor guy rang the bell you run and the thing and you get that thing has a little little change thing on his Bing and you it was great you get a freaking creamsicle let’s make it into a cake let’s.
Go what you will need for the delicious orangey creamy cake I threw creamy in there cuz it sounds good three cups of cake flour 1 and 3/4 cups or 350 G of granulated sugar 2 and 1/2 t spoons of baking powder half a teaspoon of salt you can use kosher salt that’s in there too the zest of two Naval oranges or if you have them from.
The Army on the Marine Corps that’s fine too that was bad but I’m keeping it in cuz it’s what I do half a cup unsalted butter room temperature cut as best you can into pieces and you’re going to say hey dude it’s gooey I can’t get pieces well you know what then just give up you can do it if resemble pieces you.
Find four large eggs room temperature leave them out an hour or put them in some warm water for 5 seconds or you know 5 minutes 3/4 of a cup or 175 millit of Buttermilk right there creamy Rising does a lot of things for you half a cup of vegetable oil you can also use avocado oil that’s what I’m using because the orangy flavor is going.
To kind of diminish any avocado taste anyway like that’ll kill you right but anyway tablespoon of vanilla extract teaspoon of orange extract you can’t see it but it’s in here be careful with that we want an orange punch we want a punch right you know what Mike Tyson said everybody has to plan until they get punched in the face same thing orange.
Food coloring gel cuz we wanted to look orange I have the nonpoisonous one go to health food store you’ll get it it’s natural it’s good and it’s very orange you’re going to eyeball that as you go but it’s going to darken in the orange color as bake so be careful but we’ll get to that when we get to it all right let’s make the cake now we’re going to.
Sift our flour sugar baking powder and salt all the white stuff or most of the white stuff into a bowl if you have a sifter thingy which I don’t nice Chef I am you can sift it right into the bowl of your kitchen EG which we’re going to use starting off with the paddle sugar in there.
Baking powder and salt Head Start alert my have little trick to not make a mess if you have a magazine cover it works too cuz it’s smoo and it’ll slide here you go thin the lead tap it back done get the paddle.
Acquainted mix it a bit there’s our butter and our orange zest stick the zest right in there we’re going to mix it around with a fork and then dump it in here here it is it’s great on crackers kids no it’s not slow it down piece at a time it’s going to be a little crumbly.
That’s what you want injecting flavor into an otherwise flavorless flour scrape off my misses not that misses come on bring it back medium speed for a minute put it off stage separate Bowl buttermilk a creamy dream.
Fresh squeezed orange juice and a little bit of orange juice from concentrate didn’t have enough oranges careful with the oil it’s way up the top there put it in basically the the liquids are going in see what I’m doing then I’m going to whisk it those the eggs and the vanilla Stir It Up.
Baby orange extract in all right low speed get that liquid in there eggs everything just throw it in going to mix a little bit with the paddle then move to the Airy the air inducing the bubble making whisk attachment coming up soon put some air in this thing paddle you were.
Great but this isn’t I got to go so do you whisk attachment and whip it up that’s about medium now we’re going to go up to medium high for about a minute I have it on low cuz I’m going to add some orange coloring I don’t do this often.
So but I did read that it will get oranger as it bake so we not going to go too crazy you know it’s a nice Creamsicle orange it’s not a you know fake looking classroom orange you know like in kindergarten I’m going to split this into three cake pans I got a scale you can do it too you can eyeball it.
Probably go like a little bit at a time with each one but I’m going to use the scale because I’m very important so I’ll come back when that’s ready and then we’re going to bake this stuff and I want you to start thinking about preheating that oven which I’m going to do right now at 350 and then I’ll come back when everything’s ready to go in.
Beautiful starting to load them in the oven that’s what they look like you know PL and paper all around smart do it and now for the icing on the cake as they so affectionately call it the only thing different you’ll see here you know cream cheese frosting all uh is this Little Packet as we used before on the crumb or the sponge or the Cake part why.
Can’t we just say cake orange dye but it’s all natural it’s not poison get the stuff go to a natural food store I use this also on the Cake part the pro I have two 8 oz packages of cream cheese softened if you want to go GRS it’s.
250 I have a cup or 225 g of unsalted butter room temperature everything room temperature over here 6 to 6 and 1/2 cups or 780 to 84045 around there um they call it icing sugar in the business it’s freaking confectionist anyway two teaspoons of vanilla extract and 2 teaspoons of orange extract I still want to get the.
Orange taste going in everything I had it in the Cake part stand mixer paddle attachment ready let’s get some of the stuff in here get that butter in all of it and let’s get that cran cheese in there we’ll start with half of the cran cheese kind of you know let everything get acquainted a little bit it’s a lot.
Of cran cheese I don’t want any lumps or bumps that’ll be good good for now I’m going to pour just a little bit of our confectioners in there get it started paddle engage start slow bring it up and then we’re going to whip it with the cage once the cage oh come on this let St slow as I said story your.
Life all right keep it slow drizzle in that confection all right bring it back down sugar going and I’m going to hold back a cup or two of that confectioners.
Use it as needed let’s bring this up now bring it back down and let’s get the rest of that soft and cream cheese in there dancing around doesn’t want to get caught in the spok so guess what you’re done dude and back.
Up okay slow to down that’s the vanilla good orange in bring it back up and back down some of this orange food coloring trust me slow it down for this you want to Splatter this stuff in your face you’re going to look like you’re going to a freaking football game that’s enough just want to.
Tint and of course no recipe is immune to the stop and scrape you could see that white coming through the bottom there it’s okay now here’s a little test to see if we have to add the rest of that Sugar it’s kind of drippy I don’t know if you can see that but it’s still kind of drippy I’m going.
To put the rest of the sugar in there I don’t want the drip all over the place slide right off the freaking cake I’m going to start it up again slow and let’s get the rest of that confectioners in now I’m going to put the good old cage on start slow and whip it good right we’re going to tidy up.
Get our layers of the cake over here which are now out of the oven and cool down cooler the better right I mean do you want this stuff to be melting as you’re freaking frosting a cake I don’t think so I’m going to clean up a little too you know I’m I’m not kind of Chef I’m a cleany kind of Chef my wife is laughing wherever she is.
Right now watch it there Buster all right I’ll be right back he got my little Saucy Susan here is that what you call it Lazy Susan sorry Susan my first L down and have it on a plate and I have these little pull out things this just a pment paper whatever you have so when you’re done you pull.
Them out and everything’s clean over here so we hope all right here we go look at that you know what that is give me a nice blob better a little bit more than a little bit shy so these layers are a little bit thin on this cake for a reason you know it’s you don’t want a Mile High cake you know that’s for like you know what’s.
That place Cheesecake Factory this is your home you know it’s your home and go as far to the edge as you please and you know lather rinse and repeat I I’ll meet you back up here when we’re on top now we’re going to pull out our little paper thingies comes up pretty clean we’ll fix all the little the little drag marks.
We’ll fix them I might even take a slice out of this well there you have it folks a delicious orange creamsicle gluten-free cake look at that deep orange cake little lighter on the orange color on the top but orange and vanilla through and through like you’re eating one of those popsicle things speaking of eating oh.
Man are you kidding me anyway anyway I’m eating the rest of the cake I’m sorry you can make this you saw me do it just follow the steps boom boom boom and boom if you don’t want glutenfree one for one with regular flour you will be fine but try to gluten-free I’m telling you it’s better for you it tastes the same it’s.
