Indulge in Guilt-Free Delights: Savor the Sweetness of Gluten-Free Donuts!
Hi and welcome back to Becky’s Beastro The number one thing that I miss in a gluten-free diet is donuts And since I can’t seem to find a place that sells a good gluten-free doughnut we’re going to make our own So stay tuned Okay let’s get started making our gluten-free donuts The first thing the dry ingredients I already have two cups.
Of gluten-free flour in my bowl I’m gonna add a half a teaspoon of ground nutmeg a half a cup of granulated sugar two teaspoons of baking powder and one teaspoon of salt We’ll mix that up and then we’ll be ready to get our wet.
Ingredients mixed up All right now we’re going to do our wet ingredients The first wet ingredient is a half a cup plus 2 tablespoon of milk two large eggs a teaspoon of vanilla extract Make sure it’s gluten-free And then 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoon of unsweetened applesauce And.
You can use vegetable oil oil if you prefer And then we’ll just whisk those together Get those nice and mixed together and then we’ll be ready to add them to gradually to our dry ingredients All right Now we’re going to gradually add our dry ingredients to our wet You do this in small batches It makes it smoother.
We just pour it in maybe a/4 cup at a time making sure that you’re incorporating all of that flour mixture into your egg mixture All right I’m back with a quick tip We’re going to spray our doughnut pan with um cooking spray And the best thing to.
Do to make sure it’s even and not overly saturated is just use a paper towel to go ahead and rub and coat each doughut section Sadly I only have one doughnut pan but I will be getting more We’ve got our doughnut batter in a Ziploc bag I’ve cut the corner off so that we can use this bag as a piping bag.
And we’re gonna fill our doughnut pans about halfway full Just kind of going around Little over half will not hurt it Again this recipe will make 12 donuts so I’ll have to do a couple of batches.
But this Ziploc bag makes it a lot easier Of course if you have a piping bag a fancy piping bag you can use that too If you don’t and you don’t for some reason have zip locks you can use a spoon and then just smooth it out with a spatula Once you’ve got your doughut batter in the doughnut pans go ahead and.
Smooth them out Not that it matters what a donut looks like It’s going to taste delicious but you do want it to cook evenly All right we’ve got our donuts ready to go in the oven I’ve got a preheated 350°ree oven and we want to keep them in there about 10 to 11 minutes.
All right To make our donuts exciting we’re going to add 2/3 cup of granulated sugar and two teaspoon of ground cinnamon to a ziploc bag We’re going to get that mixed up and then we’re going to coat our donuts with this.
Coating The donuts are out of the oven the first batch They look delicious And now I’m gonna put them in my little sugar and cinnamon coating Shake that up While they’re warm take it out And I have put a baking sheet underneath to catch the sugar and cinnamon crumbs So I’ll just keep doing.
The rest of these six donuts All right our first batch of donuts are out of the oven coated in sugar and cinnamon Let’s give them a try Cakey moist That’s good Cinnamony and sugary and.
