welcome back today we’re making a Mexican classic tres leches cake with strawberries and a caramel drizzle on top let’s get it first we’ll need 1 cup of heavy whipping cream half a cup of milk for the cake half a cup of powdered sugar half a cup of melted.

Butter voila 2 tbsp of mayo two cans of sweetened condensed milk one can of evaporated milk three capfuls of Molina Mexican vanilla blend or vanilla extract one bag of Miss Jones classic gluten-free yellow cake.

Mix one separate cup of milk for the leche mixture and no bruhas but we need four eggs let’s start by making our caramel drizzle put some water in a pot on high heat and bring to a boil once boiling just set it and forget it just kidding drop in one can of sweetened condensed milk and let it boil for 2 hours flip.

After an hour if you can be sure to keep an eye on the water levels as it boils and refill the pot as needed now we’re making the frosting in a chilled bowl add the heavy whipping cream pink is out baby one capful of.

Molina Mexican vanilla blend and the powdered sugar give it a swirly use a spatula to make sure nothing escapes i mean I don’t know what else to tell.

You just mix it until it looks like frosting scoop it out into a container and set it to the side for now i mean I ain’t your daddy but make sure you clean up put the frosting in the fridge while we finish creating the rest of this.

Masterpiece onto the cake preheat your oven to 325° crack four eggs into your mixing bowl and give it a swirly on medium speed while they’re swirling pour two capfuls of Molina Mexican Vanilla Blend into the mix pink is out baby.

Once the eggs have peaks add the mayo add the milk and the butter we forgot to film the butter and then add Miss Jones classic gluten-free yellow cake mix give it a swirly on low speed use a spatula to fold any cake mix that was left on the sides of the bowl.

Lube up a 7 by1 11 in cake pan with some butter pour the mixture into the pan let’s get a little OCD and pop some of the bigger bubbles you can shake and pound the pan on the counter to help eliminate any air pockets and make sure the cake bakes.

Evenly bake at 325° for 30 minutes meanwhile we’re going to sanitize these young strawberries right quick take one part vinegar two parts water and let soak for 20 minutes now that the cake is done let’s let out.

Some frustration and poke a hell of holes into it don’t worry if it looks datable afterwards we’re going to throw on some frosting on it later anyways once the caramel is done boiling remove it from the pot after you eat a quick spoonful or two set it in the fridge until you’re.

Ready to use it damn that shows good now back to these strawberries we’re going to cut them and make them look all nice cut off the leaves slice them at an angle to give it that get wow effect that’ll impress your mother-in-law for.

Once now we’re just pouring all three milks onto our holy cake if it doesn’t look like the milk is getting soaked into the cake you can always add more holes that’s what she said yes Sky is using a chopstick to poke holes in a Mexican cake we don’t discriminate in this kitchen.

looking like Freddy Krueger yo didn’t I tell you not to worry though now it’s time to add the frosting lather it on until the whole cake is covered next add the strawberries and cover the cake.

now add the caramel drizzle on top put it in a ziploc bag cut off the corner and create a nice design like so or you can just scoop it out from the can and pour directly onto the cake if you’re not all that fancy b E A U.

DO cover with aluminum foil and put in the fridge overnight like I mentioned in a brazed ribs video click here we don’t like to wait so we took it out after an hour and there you have it a delicious thresh lettucees cake to impress your date become a gluten annihilator like comment share and subscribe until next.
