Here are the ingredients needed for the gluten-free crockpot lemon garlic chicken. You’ll need chicken, dried thyme, dried rosemary, black pepper, sea salt, avocado oil, red potatoes, lemon juice, a lemon some carrots, a sweet onion, and garlic For the exact measurement ingredients you’ll need 6 (4 oz) chicken thighs bone-in, skin-on.

A 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt, a 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper a 1/2 teaspoon of dried rosemary, 1 teaspoon of dried thyme a 1/4 cup of avocado oil, 4 cups of red potatoes (quartered) 1 cup of carrots (about 1/2 inch thick) a 1/2 a cup of diced sweet onion, 1 Tablespoon of minced garlic 1/4 cup of lemon juice, and 1 lemon (thinly sliced) Okay Guys! In the first step place the chicken into a large bowl then add. The sea salt, and black pepper.

Toss well until all the chicken has been evenly coated. Next place the potatoes into the crockpot along with. The carrots, diced sweet onion and minced garlic Strategically place the chicken thighs into the crockpot. Placing them directly on top of all the other ingredients. Thoroughly cover the chicken with avocado oil Follow the same step with the lemon juice before adding.

The dried rosemary and dried thyme Then use the thinly sliced lemons to cover as many of the chicken thighs as possible. Place the lid on top of the crockpot Set the temperature to high and allow it to cook for 4 hours or set it to low and allow it to cook for 8 Once it has cooked according to your specific time Remove the lid and use a toothpick or a skewer stick to poke the chicken.

If the juices run clear the chicken is ready. Then turn the crockpot off Remove the lid And every single last one of the thinly sliced lemon slices. And set the bowl aside for later. Then transfer the chicken thighs onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Give the mixture a good stir to ensure all ingredients are well incorporated. And return each and every single one of the lemon slices back into the crockpot. Place the lid on top.

Set the temperature to high And allow it to continue to cook for an additional 30 minutes until the potatoes are tender. Next select the broil option on the oven Set the temperature to high Place the chicken into the broiler And set a broil time for 4 minutes to allow the chicken to slightly char. Once the chicken has slightly charred take it out of the broiler. and set it aside to rest Here’s what the final result should look like.
