Whip Up a Flavorful Feast: Gluten-Free Garlic Chicken for the Whole Family!

Hello everybody welcome back uh today we’re going to be making some garlic chicken so we’re starting off with our garlic here and we’re going to use about 10 to 15 garlic cloves depends how garicky you like it so we’re going to peel them and chop the ends off we’re going to leave them whole though and then once you’ve done that I.

Like to just pop them all in a little container and to one side i try and prepare everything in advance so we’ve got our Parmesan cheese here as well so we’re going to need about 30 g of this this is pre-grated and then you want about 100 ml of double cream again weigh it out and just leave it to one side for a bit then we have.

Our butter unsalted butter 50 g just chop it up into small pieces it’s basically just for melting anyway in the saucepan so no need to chop it up into tiny little chunks if you don’t want to and then next thing we’re going to do is get our parsley and you just sort of want a small bunch of parsley and just chop it into little pieces however you.

Like rough as you like and again put this into another little pot and put it to one side so the next thing we want to weigh is our chicken stock so we want two chicken stock cubes these are all just Tesco ones with 250 ml of boiling water and then I’m using some free from.

Plain flour from Asda we want 75 g of that but you could use ordinary plain flour if you don’t want to make it glutenfree and here’s all the little pots ready i’m just going to move them all to one side before we start work on our chicken so what I’ve got here is roughly the.

Equivalent to four large chicken breasts so I’ve chopped those into small pieces and then the next thing I’m going to do is pop them all in a bowl you can do it in sections if you want to sometimes it works out a little easier and sprinkle your flour over obviously don’t forget if you do half your chicken you need to only use half the flour and.

Just coat it all in the flour once you’ve done that you’re going to season your chicken as well so I’ve used some sea salt and also some lovely pepper so we’re going to start cooking our chicken now um you’ll need around about 2 tablespoon of either olive oil or rape seed oil you can use vegetable.

Oil if you prefer i did find I needed a little more oil than the recipe said though so fry your chicken for a few minutes till it’s lightly golden going to add our butter in now and also our garlic and you want to mix them all in and leave the butter to melt and the garlic to soften quite well i did keep.

Stirring it fairly often just because the flour and the chicken tended to stick to the bottom of the pan otherwise so it’s a good idea to keep an eye on it and you want to also cook the garlic for around 5 minutes until it’s nice and golden i’m going to add my chicken stock next and we’ll let that simmer for around about 10 minutes until the garlic.

Is nice and tender so 10 minutes later you’re going to add in your cream i try and get every last little drop out that I possibly can and once you’ve added your cream I’m also going to add my Parmesan cheese and give that a really good mix in and you want to simmer that together.

For 5 minutes until it starts to thicken a little bit once that’s thickened you’re going to add a little bit of seasoning if you want to so you might want to add a little bit more salt and pepper it’s up to you definitely worth tasting it to see what you think so you can see after 5 minutes the sauce.

Has definitely thickened and it’s looking absolutely delicious it’s at this point towards the end that you’re going to add in your chopped parsley pour all of that in and give it a quick stir through and once you’ve done that it’s all done it’s time to plate up so I’m serving mine with some basmati rice and.

Also some green beans they all seem to go really well together so please do let me know if you try this at home what you thought of it i hope you enjoy this video thank you so much for watching and I hope to see you again for my next video
