Seedy Snacking: Crunch into the Perfect Gluten-Free Vegan Treat

Today I’m going to share a delicious crunchy seed cracker that’s made with buckwhat flour naturally gluten-free and I’m going to add a little bit of tapoco flour just to help bind it together so in my large bowl here I’ve got one cup of buckwheat flour the one I’ve got here today is like a white light version of baket flour and into that I’m going to.

Add one teaspoon of salt you can add more to taste and as I said to help bind it together I’m adding tapioca flour you could do corn flour potato flour AR arot flour or starch just something to help it stick together I’ve got fennel seeds one tablespoon that gives it a really nice flavor inside this cracker and I’ve got4 of a cup or 35 G of toasted sesame.

Seeds and I’ve got 1/4 of a cup of toasted sunflower seeds just mixing that together with the Whisk and in my jug here I’ve got 3/4 of a cup of boiling water I just boiled my Kettle and then threw it in before we started filming and you might just need to adjust the water depending on the flour you’ve used or the humidity um in your.

Country I know that sounds strange but it does affect it and the brand of flour you use 2 tspoons of olive oil you can use any other type of oil that you have the oil also gives it a kind of nice moisture and a little tip secret tip to making these crackers is we need to let this dough rest for about 10 to 15 minutes and then we’ll check it again.

And then if we need extra moisture or extra flour we’ll add it then we’ll let it rest so I’ve rested my dough for 15 minutes and it’s quite stiff now and I’m going to divide it into three cuz I find that easier I’ll just grab a bit out of here I’ve got my oven preheated at.

170 I’m just flattening it out I’m going to grab another piece of baking paper and I roll it really thin I grab my baking tray take the top layer off then I grab some more like flaky salt and spring it with a little bit of flaky salt this is.

Optional now I’m going to bake this in my oven which has been preheated at 170 for 30 to 40 minutes I’m going to keep an eye on it I don’t crack it or slice it or anything I find it’s better if I just do cracking later on free form style but if you’d like to stop and crack it after 15 minutes you can slice it through gently so I’m going to bake.

It now for 40 minutes so little tip I’ve set the timer for 30 minutes and I’m going to have a look at it at the 30 minute Mark and then if I think it’s ready I’ll bring it out if not I’ll keep baking it for another 10 minutes my buckwheat seed crackers are all cooked I did each tray separately and they’re nice and thin so.

They’ve actually curled a little bit on the edges but check these out and now what I do is I just crack them free form like that and then you can serve them with cheese pickled carrots not pickled fermented carrots are really yummy with it I’ll do a little taste test they taste so good I haven’t made them too salty.

Today and the hint of fennel gives it that really nice kind of Ana seed aftertaste so crunchy so delicious and so soon hope you’ve enjoyed my how to make buckwheat seed crackers that are totally glut free I’ve got another recipe which I’ll pop a link up above which is for all seed cracker with no flour hope you’ve enjoyed this video.

Today and I’ll see you next time he do from Sweden crunchy goodness
