Transcript: Blind Taste Test: Oreo Golden Gluten Free vs Golden Oreo Review

Today Kevin is going to do a blind taste test between the gluten-free golden Oreo and the regular ones they were two different prices at Walmart uh so the gluten-free were $458 and $458 is for a 12.08 o 342 G package the regular were $3.98 and they’re.

13.29% made by Nabisco it says um three cookies 34 G is 160 calories um three is 160 okay so that’s the same Wonder let’s look at some numbers real quick uh total fat is seven seven cholesterol zero Z sodium 110 120 okay so those have more sodium okay carbs 25 25 okay total sugar is 13.

Mine’s 12 12 okay and protein is less than a gram y mine say one gram okay okay so uh all right I’m tempted not to see these when you open them cuz there is a size difference but then again they’re I don’t know I’m just afraid one of them’s going to be I don’t think they’re is a size difference no if you no just to be sure just to be sure I.

Don’t want one to be thicker than the other one and me not to be just leave no doubt let’s go ahead and cover up yeah um but this I’m looking for the uh oh wait a minute let’s see it’s so oh here it is it’s so faint like the pool P yeah now the glutenfree were on a um they were on a display in the very very.

Back of Walmart they were like back or between the the milk and the eggs yeah ours are in the back of the store some people are on the like the side of stuff but the glutenfree were on there and like regular Oreos so to get the regular golden to compare them with I had to go to the cookie a and let me tell you I I got a regular size package they have.

Like family size size okay so Kevin has no idea which one I’m going to give him first I’m just going to um I’m going to be pointing at the one um that I’m going to give him first I have no idea which package you even have no I could have any package any kind of package and you would would not know it okay you.

ready yeah I saved half just in case I want to go back so the the other there’s only one difference between the two I agree there’s literally one difference say the.

Word little a harder crunchy Cy I was going to say texture the texture is the difference uhhuh but not in a bad way no not in one’s grittier fibrous or ones one’s much harder crunchy than the other one yes number two is a lot harder yes I agree um I have no clue I know you wouldn’t you wouldn’t have a clue like which one would be the harder.

Cookie you go crumbs on thank you because I never know um I’m going to guess that the harder cookie number two was the regular one the harder one is the gluten-free oh okay yeah yeah it was noticeably quite a bit harder now if you bought the gluten-free and you didn’t have the other ones to compare it to you’re never.

Ever going to notice the difference they taste they taste exactly they tast ex they have the same sweetness level they have the same basic texture while you’re eating it once you’ve once you’ve gotten over the the hard cookie part the texture is pretty much the same yeah there’s no like I said there’s no gritty there’s no fibrous texture there’s.

Nothing like that so it’s it’s just you would never know side by side it is harder but it still is a darn good cookie it’s really good and it’s not ridiculously hard it’s just harder yeah it’s harder than the original now it is actually more on par with what a regular chocolate Oreo yes because to us regular chocolate Oreos are hard are always bit.

Hard yes they’re always hard there are other brands like the HB brand cookies are always softer and it’s like why can’t Oreo make them that soft why can’t they make them soft like the HB brand they want you to be able to dip them yeah see we don’t do that so it’s lost on us we’re just like why you have this hard crunchy cookie well we you know we.

Don’t want that so um if you love that about an Oreo anyway and you need to have glutenfree then by all means bomb if you don’t need gluten-free there is absolutely no reason for you to buy these because you are paying more you are getting three fewer cookies um you just there’s no reason for you to buy unless you have to go that way but if.

You are free that’s a good alternative absolutely pretty much the exact same thing it’s the exct they did a good job yes they did they did a very good job so you’ll have to let us know if you give them a try what you thought I hope you enjoyed the video I’ll have pictures for you at the end and thanks for.
